Extremely good fresh fish dishes inexpensive and locally owned

In this unassuming little restaurant you will find Njundu a kind and gentle host who will walk you through the menu and make recommendations for what to eat based on your palate. The food when it arrives is simply incredible. So much so that we went back a couple of days later. Do yourself a favour and try the barracuda and lady fish. Both of these are cooked to perfection. As is the benachin. Eating here is a great way to support a local business and have a delicious meal

Visited last night, had barracuda in garlic and onion sauce, absolutely delicious, great service, friendly staff and good prices. Would definitely recommend will be visiting again.

Best restaurant, food and stuff ... really recomended :)

Food didnt taste authentic Gambian.Ordered chicken yassa, which should be strips of chicken, in a slightly spicy dark sauce and large pieces of onions. The served dish was cooked well but lacked the sauce - almost akin to a stir fry.Service good and restaurant generally clean.Will try other dishes in the future.

Gutes Essen, gute Preise und freundliche Bedienung. Soweit war alles Klasse!Leider musste auch ich feststellen, das es einige einheimische Gäste gibt, oder es sie zumindest bei meinem Besuch gab, die in aggressiver und beleidigender Weise mit den anwesenden Touristen umgingen.Da fühle ich mich in anderen Restaurants mehr wilkommen.

Good food in a pretty atmosphere. Ill admit this whole neighborhood gives me the creeps though it is designed as an island for tourists and has little to do with the rest of Gambia.The prices are about 2-3 times more than a truly local restaurant for the same food.
