Nice sushi with some interesting variations❤️

I tried to explore new things rather than my go to and this place did not disappoint. Excellent Sous Chef and our waiter, Chase provided great service, in town to see Hamilton- we were seated and served quickly.Especially enjoyed the Bluefin Tuna- I had never tried before(Nigera Sushi), and Chicken Katsu! Waiter (Chaserecommended a good Cold Saki... "Mirror of Truth", made with Omachi rice, it was slightly sweet, sift, hint of apple... and was very smooth! Appetizer was fried shrimp Shumai... delicious... chef also created whole fried shrimp appetizer...very crispy (possibly cooked live!Very good if you dont mind the shrimp looking at you! 👀🦐

Amazing sushi spot, a little pricey but its one of the best places in town periodt.

Justin was absolutely LOVELY! Top notch service and patience and a sweet happy smile while at it... but goodness what a STARK juxtaposition to Sam the girl at the bar, gave me such attitude, gosh...Sushi was tasty albeit could have been cut a little smaller. Again- thank you Justin! 😊

I will begin to just say it was meh. Slightly pricey for meh stuff. I wasnt impressed. Also it doesnt help that my service experience wasnt good. We came when it was empty and they seated us in a back corner where youre not even visible. 10 mins went by and no server ever came. The glasses were dirty and had lipstick stains on them. We moved to the bar sobthey could see us and service was tenfolds better. Some people have bad days which is normal but this was my experience none theless. Ill never go back just because the food was average. Looks great but couldve had more flavor for the price.

Ive been here for lunch twice now, the food has been fantastic and the service was second to none.

The food was disgusting and no one ate it. Only thing that was good, was the crab Rangoon. Which how can u really mess those up, except there was barely any crab. My son said his Miso Ramen taste like wet dog smells. My daughter just threw her Miso Ramen down the garbage disposal. I also had chicken lettuce wraps, that had an indescribable taste, I tried to put soy sauce on it and hot sauce and it still didnt help. I wasted $53.00 on this bs and were still hungry. This was a Grubhub order, so I payed all these fees and tip money for nothing.

Good food, good drinks, friendly folks here, cant wait to come back here in the future!

Specialty rolls were well prepared, delicious, and felt fairly priced for the location and quality. Service was excellent. Chase, our server, was kind and did a great job, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Not much more to ask for.

I like Rishi because everything I get is amazing. It doesn’t matter what I get, it’s amazing. It doesn’t matter if it’s rangoon or a buckeye roll, or some of that ice cream, or dumplings or teriyaki chicken - Rishi rocks (amazing). For some delicious Japanese food go to Rishi, and tell them Frank sent you.

This place was recommended by a colleague so I visited one evening. I ordered shrimp shumai, cucumber salad, tofu with green beans and jasmine rice. I couldn’t stop eating the entree, I love when green beans are featured and executed correctly. The shumai was some of the best I’ve had and I enjoyed them being fried and served with Thai sweet chili sauce. Definitely worth the time to drive as I was 18 minutes away.

1. They prioritize takeout vs people that actually come in and buy drinks.2. Food took over an hour3. Drinks didnt come until 10 minutes before the food (wouldnt you want to sell more alcohol..?)4. Food is average if not overpriced5. My beer was expired according to the label on the bottle6. Ordered 2 edamame but only 1 came but the bill had 2 so that had to be corrected (shady)I wouldnt recommend.

Our waiter was new and he was fine. He did his best and he doesnt control the kitchen. I ordered 3 rolls, and I waited an hour, and other tables who were sat and ordered sushi after our table were served their sushi 15 minutes before we got ours. The manager never came over to apologize for the wait. It fell on our server to be the one to apologize for the wait. I understand were still dealing with staff shortages but Im so tired of that excuse anymore. When the sushi came out, the person who brought it didnt bring plates or dishes for soy sauce until we asked. I saw how many 4 Star reviews this place had so we chose it over other sushi places and what a disappointment. My bill was $55, which I know isnt the most expensive sushi bill but the rolls certainly were not worth their prices. I was just disappointed in the whole place. I am here in town for a conference and was looking forward to sushi. I asked the hotel what place to get sushi and Ill make sure to tell them not to recommend this place.

Had a great time here, service was great and the food was excellent! We had the Rainbow roll, dumplings and Ramen and they were all delicious. Highly recommend

15 piece Chef selected sashimi platter included 2 pieces of egg and a “krab” stick cut into 3 pieces. I’ve have eaten here for years and was confused when I picked up my food as this was not the norm. They assured me this is normal. The recession hits us all I guess. Just raise the price and be honest what you’re serving.

Best sushi Ive had in Columbus, incredible staff, and highly recommend sitting at the bar for small parties.

I’m a Grubhub driver and the the host/bartender with the ponytail was completely inappropriate and disrespectful. I came in the wrong door and he and another girl yelled at me to go stand! by the door… I had an issue with the way they gave the ORDER TO GO STAND BY THE FRONT DOOR… which I did…. Then he refused to give me the order for the customer I was picking up for. I saw the order ready, then he refused to give me the order….

Our first time here, we LOVE sushi!! The sushi was really good! I always get raw fish, but the raw fish had a texture that threw me off ... I feel the cheaper priced specialty rolls were accurately priced, but some were just a little too much for how simple they really were. The service was incredible. The server was so personable! I didnt catch his name. Incredibly attentive, always refilling our waters once it hit halfway. Making sure we were having a great experience. I would definitely come back , and even bring friends/ family!

The food was fantastic! Ive lived a block away since I moved to this country in 2018. Not sure why it took so long but well sure be back to work our way through the amazing menu!

Amazing experience here! Aurora was a fantastic server and Ray was also hilarious. Food was incredible...plethora of sake...sushi was phenomenal and fresh! We will be back and telling everyone!Update: Went back again today and had another wonderful experience!

The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different sushi offerings. I believe I got the spider roll and it was amazing. There was a lot of soft shell crab inside. If thats your thing give it a shot.

The snowflakes that work at this place make it not worth visiting. Immediately enforce the mask 🙄. Told me it would be 45 minutes for one order of sushi to go just to try to get me to leave, of course it only took 20. I try to sit at an empty bar just to read the menu and said I cant sit there. This is my second time there. My first time we had the most eccentric waiter ever that was doing way too much. Just take our order man. They also tried to say we are closing the first time trying to like rush us out when they didnt close for 45 mins. If you dont have neon blue hair probably cant get a job here. Sushi is pretty good even though they dont seem to have some of their cheaper items on the actual menu.

Empty restaurant - wouldnt seat a table of 5 at 8:00pm. Very disappointing, dont come here.EDIT: The restaurant has responded. Theres nothing to "feel", its just facts. It speaks volumes when a restaurant attempts to minimize guest experiences.The one piece to add is the front wait staff was incredibly rude. It was not explained that there is limited seating, just told very bluntly to go find somewhere else.Also to add: the bar was completely empty and could seat 5 people side by side, so Im not sure what the restaurant response is referring to. Visitor beware. Go somewhere else.

One of my goto places for lunch while I was in Columbus also my coworkers love this place, they have a great lunch option and nice sushi bar, they have outsiding area with in summer or went to warm make it very nice to sitdown.The lunch hours are from 11 am - 2:30 pm, and have a few bento box options. My favorite Bento box is #7 that brings white rice the topped is beef bulgogi, with 3pcs chicken dumplings, chicken egg roll, 3pcs Futomaki, seaweed salad and miso soup (only if you dinner in), the portion is pretty big and the taste of the food is very good, add hot sauce to the food it will give a great touch.The staff are very nice and fast a good thing because you need to move fast in the lunch hour.

Ordered takeout and the dumplings were mushy and tasted rancid. I got the ramen and the noodles were cold and in a tight mushy ball. The smell of the ramen broth was also very rancid smelling.

Excellent service, honestly!!! Me & a friend went at 6:15ish pm on a Thursday & they were busy, but not slammed. I only saw a single server, a single bartender, & single chef behind the sushi bar, but again our service was great! Thank you Ray!!! ;That trio of gentleman worked together seamlessly tonight. I did think the portions were on the smaller side, but definitely tasty. Here is the Lychee et al cocktail. I also tried another, the Kōyō, but I honestly didnt like either one I tried this evening. I did not mention it to our server, but they were maybe too exotic for me? Im not sure, but that was disappointing because they were $13 each. Anyways, Id go back here because the service was great and because I know the food is a safe and tasty bite.

Rishi will not let you eat there if you are a conservative. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant, I know I will never be eating there again!I ask to speak to the owner but was told the owner would tell me the same thing that I was not welcome there. So say the manager that was there 10.28.2021 at 1210pm.If you did not have a problem serving me then why was I not asked if I would like to place a takeout order and I could have waited outside? 10.29.2021

Fantastic food and amazing customer service! Ray was a phenomenal server who made the experience excellent. I left something of sentimental value at the restaurant and they worked to get it back to me, which says a lot about this place! Go for the food, stay for the staff!

Ive been wanting a solid, authentic ramen for awhile now, and Rishi absolutely nailed it. Our sushi panini was something Gordon Ramsey wouldve rolled his eyes at, but it was honestly so delicious. Our server Rey was super attentive, and honestly one of the best servers weve had in Columbus. A pretty much perfect experience, go to Rishi!!!

While running around the city we decided to grab a bite of some Japanese. We were pleasantly surprised by everything we had. The Sushi, beer and appetizers were on point. Our server Aurora was knowledgeable and very bubbly. She made out experience well worth it. If you are in the downtown area and want something delicious stop in!

Easily the best sushi in Columbus! Staff are friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The super roll combo is more than enough for two people, and a great value.

I really enjoyed this place, ate a lot of sushi, it was the chef selection and there was a lot of good fish on the sashimi, my girlfriend also got the chicken katsudon, and the drinks were really good too. A good place to go if you are looking for sushi, and if you are going with someone who doesn’t want sushi, or wants drinks. The Japanese beer and the cocktail was really good.We went on Monday so it is hard to say how busy it normally is, but it was nice to have the patio area to ourselves

The sushi was amazing and the customer service was great. The staff member that sat us down was super nice and after we had finished our food we chatted for a good 40 minutes. Super friendly and had a very proffers Iona like atmosphere.

We order from here all of the time. They’re super consistent with order time, but more importantly their rolls. I was super skeptical at first, judging based off the look of this place, but they have good food for a good price compared to a lot of sushi places. I suggest the 3rd St Roll or a the Columbus Roll!

The staff was really nice I showed up at 9:54 figured they would turn me around but they gave me a 20 grace period with the kitchen and was very delightful as well 😁😁😁😁 😊 the place was beautiful from the momrnt I drove by I knew I was gonna love it 😍

Water while I waited, thank the universe for exceptional customer service. Ray, bravo. . I will say the waiter and bartender are a dynamic team. Ray seemed to be the only waiter working. Ruining up and down stairs he still managed to stop and acknowledge me to make sure I was being taken care of not to mention mentioning that Perfection takes time and thank you for waiting those are the kind of people that managers and owners need to be aware of because their assets to their business Bravo Love it

Fun restaurant, good service, yummy cocktails! This was a sleek restaurant with a friendly staff. It is on the pricier side, but that is to be expected from a sushi restaurant. Had a wonderful meal and beverages. The GM (Josh?came by to check on us to make sure we were enjoying our experience, so that was sweet. Lots of windows to watch the street activities. I should have taken some sushi shots, but I was too hungry to pause. 😂

A little pricey for 2 drinks, 2 sushi rolls and 2 nigiri but everything was delicious and the bar manager Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable about the sake options and cocktails. I told him what I liked and he made me the perfect drink. The Pen Apple Pen was light and tasty. We had the Long street roll and the Columbus roll. Both were delicious

My Columbus roll was excellent. Also very impressive sake and beer selection. And I enjoyed being able to watch the chef slice the fish open right in front of me - only way to know the sushi is really fresh 😄 I dont really eat sushi a lot and didnt know what nigiri any sashimi and so on means but my random selection was one I liked a lot!

Good sushi and atmosphere. Kind staff. The prices are way too high, though. I spent $25 on an 8 piece roll and 5 chicken wings (not whole wings)!

Friendly attentive staff, convenient location and super delicious sushi!! I highly recommend the spicy scallop roll. 5-7 happy hour M-Th as well with buy 2 get 1 sushi! Will definitely be back : )

A nice restaurant with some interesting Japanese meals - not just your typical fare but many unique combinations. I had ramen, which was good, and a royal tea, which was a strong drink. My friends enjoyed their sushi, croquette, and drinks as well. The price is a little high, but in the range you would expect for somewhere downtown.

This was one of the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The service was fast, the food was actually to die for it was so fresh and tasty. Spoke to Nick who was able to recommended with such knowledge different types of Sake. Overall an incredible experience. Thank you to the entire gang there for making it such an incredible dining experience.
