A great place to visit! You will most likely spend around 2 hours going through the whole thing. A worthwhile experience to be able to see interesting fish. Quite fun to be able to see sharks downtown! Not sure id visit more than once though.

Loved it. A really great aquarium with a broad range of oceanic and freshwater life. I particularly enjoyed the part focused on Canadian lakes and oceans as it was beautiful and also informative about our own wildlife and habitats. The coral reef was great, the tunnel with sharks and turtles and large fish was excellent, and overall it was just a really great way to spend some time. Good for families, couples, or even a single adult looking to see some beautiful aquatic plants and animals. Definitely recommend.

Came here for our honeymoon and highly highly recommend! So beautiful, could spend the majority of the day here. Variety of fish to look at and very informative. They have a bunch of little kids information stations through out and a play area in the food court area as well. Will definitely be going back in the future !

A wonderful place to visit if you have tiniest bit of interest in marine life. Visited it the 3rd time and it is always refreshing. The overhead aquarium filled with sharks is the best part. You can get a manicure from shrimps as well.

It is a good one time experience. The best attraction was the shark view from the 180degree tunnel. 44$ for one adult is a bit high but maybe due to high maintenance cost of the place the prices are high. We spent around one and half hour at the Aquarium it was a fun seeing different aqua species.

It was a beautiful aquarium with so many species of fish. My kid enjoyed the different variety of sharks. Its a big aquarium in the downtown area. The tunnel was the fun part where you can see sharks swimming over your head. It will take anywhere between 2 - 3 hrs to see the full aquarium

Wonderful way to spend the day! Very interactive if you happen to have children with you, but fun even if you don’t. They have a good sized tank for the octopus (not supposed to take photosbut he was hidden for the most part when I visited. I really loved the seahorse and jellyfish exhibit, I specifically sat and watched the jelly fish for a good period. They have a super cool conveyer belt through a tunnel underneath the open aquarium part that has the several different types of sharks, tons of fish, some manta rays, an eel, turtles and many other things I’m sure I didn’t see, even though I had hopped off and sat there for a while. There’s a large play area for kids towards the end with the touch pool and gift shop right near the exit (but also the entrance, so you can walk around again if you like). The touch pool itself is deeper than most I have seen and included some pretty decent sized manta rays. I was using too much hand sanitizer to touch them myself comfortably, but they were very friendly and going up to the other patrons. There is also a package deal that you can get which includes the museum and stratosphere tickets as well which I may have considered had I not gone to the museum already.

I have to admit this exceeded my expectations, an attraction Ive wanted to see since it first opened, gate price is fairly expensive and at first glance the thought might be what did I pay for here, but as you work your way into the heart of the attraction there are so many cool things to see and learn. One draw back is we were unable to find any cellphone charging options, as we quickly burnt through our batteries taking pictures, once that happened we basically left and I would have likely stayed longer and spent more had I been able to charge my phone. Also super cool opportunity at the end is the shallow pool where you get a chance to meet/pet/touch some of the parks rays and see smaller sharks up close.

I genuinely loved my experience at Ripleys, the exhibits were very informative and the lighting in most places was very sensory friendly. The only issue arose during the feeding at ray bay (which wasnt posted on the websiteit got very busy and overstimulating all of a sudden... We waited in the shipwreck section until the crowds dispersed and we were able to enjoy the rays on our own time.

Super great place for adults and kids! We had so much fun there. The staff was super nice as well. Worth buying the city pass if you are not from the city as there are discounts when you buy from the gift shop! My little one had such a good time. There was so much to see and do. Definitely recommend!

Great aquarium. The tickets cost $50 per head and the price is worth it. This aquarium has a wide range of aquatic animals. It even has sting rays and sharks. It also has an overhead aquarium tunnel. Basically its like a tunnel but one can see aquatic animals overhead. Everyone gets amazed by the wide range of aquatic animals. A lot of species of aquatic animals in the aquarium make the place special and worthwhile spending there. One more thing I liked most about this aquarium is that it has facts and information written about every species present there which helps people to understand more about aquatic life. It also has some sites which provide the information about history of aquatic animals and humans related to it in any way.

Had a wonderful visit. We had booked a group visit ahead of time. We did find it very busy and crowded (Wednesday in the summer at 1pm). You could likely walk through quickly in about an hour but you would miss out on lots, I would suggest taking your time to read and watch, enjoy the slow moving path.

First time to Ripleys and its an amazing place, the fish tanks and set ups were very realistic. I was equally impressed with the maintenance of the Aquarium the fish tanks were crystal clear with a multitude of fish to look at with neat tunnels and submerged submarines for the kids to explore. Down side for me was it was very crowded and sometimes had to get as close as you might like and the information slides with the writing changes too fast for me. I couldnt read most of info. All in all it is definitely worth a visit!

An absolutely wonderful experience. It was overcrowded even though they had safe distancing signs everywhere. They have a moving belt and you can easily view all the sea animals. We didnt get to see the octopus at all though. But other than that a great enjoyable and learning experience for adults and kids alike. Worth the price you pay for it. Would love for them to make it a spacious and less crowded experience.

Great experience of getting close to all the species. Sharks, yellow-tails, sting rays etc. Must visit with your family and friends. Kids are gonna love it. All the attractions are well informed and accessible. If you are taking your camera try not to flash the light. The washroom is available and the cafe is crowded.

Always a good time at the Aquarium! Some exhibits were closed however. No mask mandate. Staff were all friendly, informative and engaging. Exhibits haven’t changed much since our last visit a few years ago. Gift shop items are overpriced. Great variety of aquatic animals. Several different sharks and at least two sea turtles. Give yourself at least an hour if you have small kids. Facility is wheelchair accessible and family friendly. Aim for slower times if you don’t like crowds. There is a small cafeteria near the children’s interactive area.

First time visiting with our son,who is a little over 1 year. He thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits and the varied life forms. We would definitely visit again when hes a bit older.Few things to note:1. Book tickets online if you can, to save time at the aquarium.2. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but you get some typical fast food inside, with a machine-made pizza.3. This place is quite packed on weekends. All in all, it was still a great experience and would recommend it to anyone of any age.

Absolutely stunning, amazing, adventurous, and beautiful experience. We bought the City Pass and this was our first stop yesterday, and it was surely the highpoint of our day. Will definitely visit again in the future, hopefully, it will be less crowded, at times i feel as though am suffocating and i can be hard to get a very good picture. I felt like a kid on an adventure learning new things that I surely never knew about so many water creatures. Wow, wow, wow, it was truly beautiful. I do recommend visiting this place once you are Ontario, Canada, it can be fun, especially, for the kids.

This is certainly one of the most amazing places to visit if you want to experience the majesty of the ocean. Absolutely stunning exhibits, amazing information and a 5 star facility. HOWEVER, the amount of people they let in the building at once is atrocious. It is packed and severely reduces the enjoyment of the experience. Having people crowd up next to you or grind up on you while looking at fish tarnishes the experience. I would gladly pay double the price for the ticket for half people.

The jellyfish show at this aquarium is mesmerizing. I’d really like to know how they engineered this exhibit. Do yourself a favor and come check it out. In the “tunnel underwater” exhibit you will have sharks, rays, and fish passing over you. The anemone exhibits burst with a gorgeous array of color. This aquarium also makes an exhibit of its massive water filtration system. Despite Ripley’s not being as massive as the Georgia Aquarium, it is still beautifully curated and very worthwhile visiting.

Perfect spot for a great day with kids or your special one. It takes you a couple hours to go through everything, there’s lots of special species including sharks, stingrays, and jellyfishes. The facility is clean, safe, and well laid out. Towards the end, the barriers should be higher as someone can simply jump into the shark tank and I bet there’s someone that’ll do it!

Cant lie, it was super busy but the flow through the displays was fairly good. There is a section with a sliding floor which makes it nice to keep all the people moving.Gift shops are expensive. Food is horrible. It looked like they once had a cafe in there that has now been replaced with super over priced vending machines that may not even work. The exhibits seemed good and clean. Bathrooms were respectable.

We always have a great experience here. We bring the kids a few times a year because they generally always have new things added or a feature of some sorts. Not sure if it’s due to covid related but the last 2-3 we’ve gone not much has changed but still a good fun time for the kids!

Ripleys Aquarium is a magical place for kids and adults. I had not been since the year that it opened, and reentering this space was incredible. So many interesting and unique looking species, all presented in beautiful, natural environments. It was such an amazing experience. My only downside was that we went on a busy Saturday evening, so there were many people and it at times took a bit of patience to get closer for a better view, but the time spent there was enough to make up for it.Obviously a highly popular attraction for tourists and locals alike, so if youre not going mid-day mid-week, expect other people to be there, but just be patient and enjoy the time.Notable highlights: Dangerous Lagoon (sharksand the jellyfish wall.Have fun!

Great experience, especially for families with kids. I would not consider it the best visited aquarium, but definitely one of the best. You can dare to touch a stingray. What’s unique there is the open technical side- with all the filtration systems and explanations as well as great kids’ playing zone.

A good place to hang out, if you never have been to an aquarium. The glass tunnel is interesting and convenient for visitors as it has a conveyor belt. The descriptions of the displays are also adequate and interacting. However, the ticket prices are high and the fiber glass used is not very eye soothing. No open amphitheater for dolphin or seal dance.

The exhibits are beautiful. We took our friend who loves fish here and he had a blast. I like the area where you can be lazy and stand on the conveyor belt and look at the sharks above you. We spent longer than I thought we would there. It was pretty busy because we went during a long weekend.

Great place to visit on a rainy day. Great exhibits, very unique.I would give 5 stars if the price was more reasonable. $148 for a family of four to Enjoy 2-3 hours is very high. Add in parking, and overpriced food and youre well over $200.

A beautiful escape from the city life, right in the middle of city life. I love this place. The aquarium is actually very large and houses a wide variety of fish. Sharks, turtles, jellyfish and everything in between. I would recommend avoiding the peak hours, as it can green very busy and you definitely lose that sense of calm and tranquility when the place is packed. But if your have to go when its busy, I still recommend going. Its a must see place.

As a regular visitor who comes at least once a month, I highly recommend giving this place a visit at least once in your life. The fish give such calming energy. I have an annual pass so it’s great that I can come anytime and don’t have to reserve a time slot (I think regular tickets make you reserve a time slot). This place can get busy though, especially on weekends ! The best time to go, in my opinion, is between Mon. - Thurs. as there are lot less people and children so you can take your time walking through the aquarium’s path

I bought tickets online for a 2 o’clock entry, got there at 1:50 and finally got in around 2:20. In the line, I asked an employee if this was typical and he said it was and that they sell up to 800 tickets for every hour time slot. With a mostly one way aquarium and narrow exhibits, you can imagine what this would look like, and it definitely made me uncomfortable being so close to so many people, especially since we are still at the tail end of Covid-19.That said, there are some great features to the aquarium with the highlight being the moving walkway through the underwater tunnel with sharks, rays, fish and turtles all around. The jellies are always beautiful to look at and the touch pool is nice for the kids (if you can find a spot), but the kids play area seemed absolutely bonkers and the food area has very little seating. If half the tickets were sold, it would be a place I’d go back, but if those crowds are normal, I’m staying away.

Excellent place to spend a day with your kids and family or friends. This aquarium is huge and has loads of species and sea creatures that you would love to watch them and experience on the other side of glass and can witness to see those huge shark, turtle, star fish and Stingray fish and so on. Lots of color and different variety of fish and sea horse etc are some of the main attraction. Aquarium offers some water and sea activities as well in same ticket package. One can buy tickets online as that will be cheaper than the one at the windows except any deal is going on in certain season. Overall worth visiting the place.

Wow this is a very nice aquarium. Theres a ton of fish all over the place in very large tanks. The underwater tunnel experience of being in the aquarium was extremely immersive. Really cool it was like I was with my son scuba diving but I was nice and dry and warm. My son really enjoyed the little indoor playground. I spent probably three hours here which was more than I thought I was going to spend but it was a good time for both of us
