Description
Privilege
I had one of the best paellas here and was very pleased with the service. Joe was very attentive and I couldnt ask for a better waiter. I definitely recommend this place.
MoreGreat food and service. Croquetas de serrano and manchego were delicious. Ceviche was amazing and the tapas too.
MoreService was really bad. We waited for almost 1.5 hours for food. We should have just left after 30 min but kids wanted to eat as they were hungry and we were patient. Food wasn’t that great either. Please avoid..
MoreThreat service even better wine selection with great tapas
I love the décor but are our waitress disappeared
Simple choices; extremely slow service; small portions. Eat at your own risk!
The food is always Incredible, the young lady that was our waitress is absolutely amazing! Great ownership, the freshest food that we have had in Puerto Rico, I highly recommend this restaurant.
MoreVery yummy food and great spot. One of the best fish tacos I’ve had.
I wish i could give this place 0 stars because i would. Not only did we have to wait an hour and a half before we called it off bc our food was taking too long and the order wasn’t even placed yet but our waiter was very rude to me and my family. There was only us and two other tables and we would probably had to of waited much longer if we didn’t call it off. I will never ever come here again and was disgusted by the way I was treated there. Also they gave me the worst shirley temple i have put on my mouth I wanted to throw up. Don’t be fooled by the outside, there was mold and roaches inside and the kitchen reeked of manure.
Moreif i could give a 0 i would, the waiter was sketchy and rude he snapped at us and was very weird, the drink i got tasted off and it was horrible, our waiter was mad at us for not being ready and he didn’t even place our order. We sat there for so long 2+ hours! do not waste your time here it was horrible. We had to cancel our order that wasn’t even placed i would rather eat sewage then come here again. (side notethere was ONE waiter only ONE.
MoreDelicious food, great service, beautiful courtyard setting!
Nice little hole in the wall restaurant youll find inside the Museo de las Americas. Staff was friendly. Food tasted good although my steak had quite a bit of gristle which made it a little tough to eat which was disappointing because it did taste good.
MoreAt first our family was excited for this restaurant. The out-door atmosphere and menu we liked. We all ordered fish tacos and a side of calamari. After waiting for over and hour for our food. It’s finally arrived. My family and I have to admit, it was very tasty and good. but later than evening 2 of my 4 family members got extremely sick. I won’t go into details but my family member started to feel sick with a stomach ache, headache, and more. lasted for about 2 hours and then they started to throw up. threw up for 4 hours and counting. Looking back on what we ate throughout the day, the only thing we ate was the fish tacos from this restaurant.-slow service, food poisoning.
MoreFood was nice when it eventually arrived after an hour. They part refunded us which was nice. Everyone was complaining but no explanation of the cause of the delay. Note the restaurant is inside the museum square so you have to go into the main archway and not straight next to the road as google shows
MoreThe picture of the outdoor dining area does not match reality. There are a couple of average tables and chairs and no potted plants. Truthfully I cannot rate this establishment on their food because we never got that far. From all appearances there was no one there, but when we asked to sit inside they said no due to Covid restrictions, this is not the first time I have heard this in Puerto Rico but then I see others go in. I have a strong feeling that gringos are not welcome. The ironic thing is my partner was born and raised in Madrid and this is supposed to be a Spanish restaurant.
MoreThe restaurant is located inside the plaza square. Had nice outdoor seating available. Service was slow though, it was unclear if anyone would direct us to seating, then we sat for about 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Our food came out one plate at a time with each person eating by themselves pretty much. Food was tasty however, and the staff were very nice. The chickpea casserole and salmon plate as well as the cherry juice were our favorites.
MoreSmall restaurant youll find at the museum with lovely staffs and great food! We just had one appetizer (it was fried fish filletand fresh mini cherry juice. Fish was fresh and soft, the juice was refreshing. Our waitress over there was very friendly. She helped us to select menu (we didnt have a good knowledge of Puerto Rican food)
MoreThe most amazing dinner Ive ever had accounting for all aspects: food, drinks, very friendly server, location, atmosphere, price, music...even a surprise 15-minute history film projected on the barracks walls. It was the perfect last dinner in Puerto Rico. A dream!
MoreWe went to this place on the last day of our trip to Puerto Rico. The server offered us extremely limited amount of items that they are offering, since its not office hours and being Christmas break. We had ordered just rice and grilled chicken and fish tacos. Nothing fancy. Thought we would just grab a bite before getting into the plane. After repeated enquiries we got only the chicken and rice, no fish tacos after more than one hour. The lady didnt bother to let us know that they dont have the resources to make fish tacos. While the rice was warm, not hot, the chicken was stone cold! I would not even give it one star, just half star. The ambience of the restaurant is good the service is PATHETIC!!! Would never never go back to this place ever ever again. Extremely disappointed with this one.
MoreLoved this place! The paella was awesome and the sangria was the perfect complement to the meal.
MoreI had the Paella Marinera. I can’t say that it was the best or better paella that I’ve had. It’s OK at the most. The seafood ingredients were not high quality. The staff were cheerful And friendly though.
MoreCame over visiting El Morro for lunch. Had a great selection and was very accommodating for a group of 8. Great waiter and the food was amazing. It is a bit pricey, and it does take some time to prepare each meal, but my group and I did not mind at all. Had a wonderful time and will recommend this restaurant to anyone touring the area, regardless of the weather.
MoreNice cozy place. Nice wine selection and good food
Good location between the two castles. Staff are welcoming and helpful. My cell phone ran out of battery. I asked a waitress, and she actually charged my phone. Food are great with large serve size. Language is not a issue; staff speaks both English and Spanish
MoreThe food was great! My one daughter ordered the fish tacos with a side of fries. She typically hates fish, but loved them. My other daughter ordered rice and beans and mofongo. I had Mofongo and the octopus salad. I would’ve loved to give 5 stars for the food alone. It took far too long for the food to arrive, however. One daughter received her fish tacos after not too long. Took another 40 minutes for her to get her fries and us to get our food.
MorePaella was tasteless. We waited for about 1 hour and twenty minutes for our food. They were not busy. Server was very nice. Atmosphere was great. They were doing some renovations which caused some troublesome noise, but thats outside the control of the restaurant and definitely not their fault. I would avoid this place.
MoreGreat food and great service. It is inside the Museum of the America’s, Google maps made it a little hard to find!
MoreExcellent food, great service, loved the shrimp with garlic sauce. Chicken with garlic sauce was phenomenal and the rice and the beans wowOverall 5 Stars
MoreOne of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever experienced in my life. We got there and they told us to wait for a table. After we were seated, an old lady that was working the shift in the afternoon on May 29, 2021 (I think her name is Gildaat approximately 2:55 pm, kicked us out of the restaurant because according to her they didn’t have open tables due to COVID 19. That was not the worst part which I totally understand, but the fact that she came and yelled at us for no reason is totally unacceptable. We didn’t even raised our voice to her and you could hear her yelling saying that we needed to leave. Two other young females that also worked there intervened and explained to us the old lady was very cranky and had an attitude problem. I rarely write reviews but this one is definitely well deserved.
MoreThe place was empty on a Monday early afternoon so we were really lucky. Great lunch experience...the best Paella, probably in the San Juan area...the manchego croquettes were in the spot...we were surprised by the Garbanzos and Chorizo Casserolle, I had this dish before, but this one had a very unique taste....sooo good! The hostess/waitress, Nilsa was really helpful and joyfull, ask for Nilsa, she will take care of your expecttations. Overall, for service and entrees, Rincon Iberico has a new fan
MoreExcellent place to go. Good food with variety of wines. Good music on Friday evening. Nice open area due to Covid. Good Paella Valenciana. Nice service.
MoreMaybe I was being harsh. But I really think the food was the worst comparing to other foods I had in San Juan even worse than the food trucks. The ingredients are not fresh enough for its price. One additional star plus for the location and the waiter who served us. In all, it is disappointing and not recommended.
MoreGreat food and service. Karen is one of a kind! A must visit if in San Juan.
The service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and helpful with menu suggestiins. She was also bilingual. The Paella Valencia was outstanding . Try it you will like it!
MoreFood excellent. Good service. Super nice waitress - Dari. Environment is very nice. Plan to return.
MoreThis restaurant is right near the El Morro fort in Old San Juan. Food was good too. But service was very poor . They took an hour ( not kiddingto Deliver the food.
MoreTERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Go someplace else!!! Husband and I came for dinner. There were only four tables seated. Nobody even greeted us after a few minutes I have to ask for a table and grab our own menus.A girl was a the bar chatting with two guys and the two servers never acknowledged us, they keep passing by the table, talking to another customers and even standing around we decided to leave. I handed the manus to the server and told him we was leaving and I didn’t got an apology, I would give this place zero stars if I could. What a waste of time!
MoreWent on a Wednesday night a couple minutes past 6PM, with some friends from work and it was closed. We drove 6 people all the way from Dorado to Old San Juan to find the place closed. I was the one with the idea of coming to this place and I felt so embarrassed. I went here before and liked their tapas and wines.
MoreThe food might be great, but service was subpar, it took 10 to 15 minutes just to get a menu. We then waited over an hour before we got up and left because our food had not arrived, and were told it would be an additional 20 minutes. There are only seven tables of which five were filled. I can understand 30 minutes for specially prepared food, but over an hour? If the wait is that long, at least be courteous enough to inform your customers before they order.
MoreRincón Ibérico has a great brunch offer... Coffee is fresh made, dishes were really good, savory and well prepared. Service was excellent, we had a great time with our server who made some good recommendations.
MoreTasty meals, friendly staff. Went to the place around 1:15pm on a Saturday and was still able to order brunch foods. Not sure how the kitchen staff felt as one meal came out much later than the other 2. It was worth el wait.
MoreOn our way around the old citys walls the rain fell gradually heavier and heavier so we ducked in here. The lady running the place took our order for coffee and warned us it would be a while, but my word it was worth the wait!
MoreGreat place! The service was awesome, the best sangria around and the food was delicious. Very good selection of wine. Its a small place, thus table space is limited. Expect some waiting time for the food, as it is cook to order. They offer free Wi-Fi which is good to keep the kids occupied while you have some time to enjoy the food and drinks with your significant other.
MoreThe longest wait in all of Puerto Rico for food. Crappy mojito, crappy food. Not a good experience. The staff was friendly though, and the restaurant looked nice.
MoreExcellent Food, Great prices!Rincon Iberico is located inside El Cuartel de Bállaja in Old San Juan. A taste of SpainPaella Valenciana, homemade Sangria and a variety of Tapas, wines, drinks. Great for the whole family
MoreVisited three times. First two were so spectacular. Wonderful food (being from Spain I found it tasty, well prepared, everybody enjoyed it so very much). Third time... what a disappointment. Maybe the regular chef was on vacation but the tapas (croquetas, calamareswere a disaster. Nothing at all like the first two occasions. Absolutely disappointed. I will give them the benefit of the exception and I will try a fourth time.
MoreWe stumbled on this place looking for breakfast. Its really a hidden gem. I ordered a spanish omelette and the presentation was amazing. The texture and taste was so good I almost ordered another. The ham is from Spain. Never tasted ham that melts in your mouth. My girlfriend ordered a sandwich that came with a potatoe salad that seemed to be whipped! Amazing. Dont miss it. Too bad its hidden. Or maybe its better hidden so we can keep it to ourselves!
MoreThe quality of the food is very good and the service too. The Sanguito (sangria and mojitois also very good. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location. Theres no parking.
MoreTERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Go someplace else!!! Husband and I came to dine here for lunch. There were only four tables seated. After 45 minutes of waiting for our food we asked how much longer. They said the food was being made. After 1.5 hours of waiting for our food we again asked how long and were told the food was being made. At that time we decided to cancel our order and go somewhere else. They over charged us for our beers and no apologies. I am a pretty patient person but that was unacceptable. I would give this place zero stars if I could. What a waste of time!
MoreWe loved this cute & quaint restaurant. Delicious food & amazing service. The chorizo appetizer was to die for, my husband had the churrasco skirt steak & had the chicken filet....all delicious. Our server was one of the best during our whole trip. They have inside & outside seating, outside had live spanish music. I definitely want to return again!! Gracias Rincon Iberico!!!!
