Ate at Cafe Italiano.It was ok.I had chicken Marsala. Chicken good. Pasta portion small.The ravioli, while good, was not satisfying.Their bread was miniscule. 2 bites, and was stone cold.Service was excellent, but there is zero ambiance.Food was better when it was a buffet

Staff is great. Machines dont seem to pay much. Pop is pretty flat. Not enough cleaning measures in place.

You will lose ALL your hard earned money. Its getting worse since my last post. Anyone give a 4 or 5 stars review is beyond me.************************************************************The slots payout percentage is ridiculously low. Most of the time you get almost nothing from bonus games. Losing money is one thing, there is no fun and no point in playing anymore. It feels like you go there not for gambling, its for donation. Just try a few times, you will agree with my assessment. Machines are so tight that eventually nobody goes there. By the way, Casino Lac Leamy is pretty much the same situation. Slots are getting tighter and tighter in these casinos over the past few years. Is there any regulatory body in the province monitoring this ???

6 years ago I came to the Casino to celebrate my birthday I was stopped at the door and asked for my ID and I showed the security and he was being rude he said I wasnt my age. So his supervisor looked on my ID and said yes I could go in. I wasnt pleased with the way I was treated.

Vary cheap paying casino I played it at max and it only paid once and it was only 20 cents really wow it was better before when it was Rideau Carleton at lest it would pay half your bet at its lowest

Little service. You identify machines that are defective and they are not fixed. Getting food is a hassle as the main eating establishment (cafeteria typeis sqiureled far away from the main casino area

Totaly useless , no table games cause they won’t pay staff fair wages ! Sadly this is a predatory and selfish organisation.

Can’t even enjoy a drink and the machines took all of my money. This place doesn’t like to make losing fun. Still no table or card games either. Absolutely ridiculous! I’m a fool for giving this place another chance.

The machines and room is not as noisy as the Hull Casino. The machines are well spaced out and handicapped accessible . There is room to park a walker without blocking the isles.Of course walking out with a bit of winnings also helped

Not like it used to be. No one working the tables. Never win. Older games. Not a fun atmosphere. Very few promotion or incentives to play.

Redesigned some inside since my last trip and very nice. Had lots of fun and staff helpful and friendly!

Why does the casino not open up the table Games? We no longer go because of this and end up going to lac leamy. Seems doubtful Hardrock will develop that land.

On the smaller side for a casino, but it is becoming a Hard Rock location. Still clean and a lovely staff. I had a really great time.

Love gambling here, I’m no addict but when I come I always have a good time, wether it be losing or winning, the crown and atmosphere is pleasant. I enjoy there horse races and restaurants!

None or the dealer table games are opened due to not having enough staff... i know alot of places have shortages staff wise... but they can easily find ways to hire people to work instead of just running the computer with live dealers...The racetrack was fun though....

Was terrible, kids not allowed in to restaurant and can only eat hotdogs if not going to restaurant. staff are very unfriendly aswell, not answering questions and being rude with their answers. wont be back.

This Casino once had potential, i’m not sure that is the case anymore. A bleek atmosphere, dirty gaming stations with empty cups, straws, food wrappers, napkins etc. Still no live gaming dealers, or music, restaurants, poker games available to players etc. I would speculate there is something going on with Hard rock behind the scenes as there has been ZERO improvement to this facility since the announced acquisition. To whomever runs this casino, wake up! Ontario is open, restrictions are over. Get this facility running to its full potential. The only change i’ve seen since the pandemic over there is bottles of Corona are now 11$ and coat check is now 3$, really? I guess we can thank the food and beverage manager or “inflation” for that rip off. Cmon guys, get it together, on the operations side, you should be embarrassed, seriously.

Stage two of reopening? G8ve your staff some more info so they can tell the customers whats going on. You have been in stage two for months now with no progression or extra info. The only casino in the world to still have tables closed cause 9f this so called virus we are all living wirh now. Had a job fair aug 18th but were not looking for dealers so please dont tell me your short dealers, get your stuff together and open the tables.

Since covid this casino has really gone downhill. Use to like going there but now perfer Lac Lemy. When I was there about 10 days ago , still no table games open.

It was fun with family and friends. Overwhelming lining up for parking and passes for rides but good food and rides 👌

Capital fair. Food is very expensive . Parking only accept cash. If you dont have cash you have to go out to nearest ATM.Dress appropriately for the weather. Its always hot any muggy. I would suggest come later evening

Capital fair is always a blast! I highly recommend buying your unlimited bracelet ahead of time to save $10.

Do not expect the before pandemic dining experience, it is not there. They now use paper plates and plastic utensils a huge step down now that it is Hard Rock!!!

My very first time watching a race. Great atmosphere..and food.

Parking is great: spacious area. One level casino. Ate here for breakfast twice, and really enjoyed it. Horse races are entertaining. I like the table entertaining area, bar tender is friendly. I make a donation every time 🤦‍♀️

Great place for a evening out. Lots of slots and also great food . Great pic for an evening or day trip out

Omg amazing. Watching the horse 🐎 racing from the family section is wonderful and worthwhile. Free ! And you go to the right of the building and walk down a path to a outdoor viewing area never have to go in or pass threw casino

They had a really great fireworks display for Victoria day long weekend. They did it from the middle of the horse track so tons of parking all around and well spaced out. Was about a 35-45 minute display. Well done!

Nope, been there twice lost all my money both times. Almost $1000 so far and I tried alot of games there. I dont think their are many wins here, idk. Dont feel lucky here. I would not reccomend this place. I would go to Kingston Casino instead. I got stared at alot too, that was wierd. Even from the workers. Idk, didnt feel happy here, the atmosphere is very somber and didnt hear music either. So nope.....this Veteran says done here.

Burnt pepperoni on top of Pizza.Hopefully you will open other eating facilities on Monday and Tuesday.If you are to give gifts please dont insult us by giving a plastic rake. You are being misers by charging for coat check. Did you ever hear of a check coat facility charging ,I believe its $3.00 cash or pay 450 points. .If you want people to come to the HARD ROCK I SUGGEST YOU REEVALUATE YOUR ATTITUDE towards your faithful customers.Good luck.

Ill keep it simple, Rideau Carleton USED to have a great buffet with loads of options.- They now have 4 or 5 separate restaurants.- Prices are not reasonable to portion sizes.- The chefs that they have found must have received their food handling certificate from a cereal box.I can say with confidence, its not worth your time looking at the menu’s, unless $35 for soggy fish and chips is appealing or perhaps a $13 for a ‘SPICY’ chicken wrap WITHOUT spice, half gallon of mayo and lettuce that felt like it was microwaved.

This place is disgusting and has gone down in everyway you could think of.First before anything, upon arrival I was harassed by the security guards, (keep in mind I am 67 I have a full fledged beard and am in my 40s" They harassed me because my ID was expiring in a month, I am not sure why but whatever.They then told me that I need three pieces of IDs, once again not sure why.Regardless after noticing I was not in the mood to argue and just did as they said they told me to go have fun and lose my money. (this was a short asian looking lady"I then proceeded to go have a drink, upon ordering the bartender ignored my drink, poured me another drink thinking I would not be able to tell, well I did and when I confronted him his excuse was "sorry man thought you didnt care what drink youd get"After all of that I then won a jackpot and the machine did absolutely nothing, I literally took a picture, got up and left, went to go cashout my money and there was an $8 FEE!Terrible experience beware for those who go.

The slot machines were good. Large selection. Not to busy. The location was extremely hot. Others were commenting. The restaurant food was terrible. Had fish and chips. Looked and tasted like it came out of a box from the grocery store. Later tried a hot dog instead. Bun was microwaved and was so rubbery you could not chew through it. Food was so much better when it was Rideau Carleton.

We had fun but it was very dirty. Claims of frequent cleaning were clearly untrue. Beer bottles at machines. Cups crammed everywhere. Honestly the filthiest Ive ever seen a Casino. This was very dissapointing.

Casino in early morning is same as before fairly quiet. I spoke to Casino services and they said the Buffet will not return in the near future.The Club House will be renamed Mr. Luckys and be A la Carte cafeteria style no table service.The restaurant(cafelimited menu is never busy, waste of space and time.

Beautiful casino with a great view of the racetrack. Their seafood & prime rib buffet on Saturday is amazing. They had a seafood bar which had sushi, shrimp cocktail, tuna salad, crab salad (amazing btw), shrimp salad, smoked salmon. They had a chef making fresh Cajun shrimp right beside the prime rib. They also had a beautiful dessert bar. Food was always replenished quickly, staff was helpful and quality was just overall amazing! Cant wait to go back

I had been waiting this place for 3 years. I use to visit all the hard rock bars wherever I go. When I moved to Ottawa it was very disappointing to find out that it was close, but now OMG we have it back here again in Ottawa.

Hard Rock Buffet. The food is much better now. $24.99 for dinner for two on Thursday. Best deal in town.

Really good music and bar now this place is way better than before. Alot of fun younger crowd new games lots of card tables!!

I always go for the all-you-can-eat buffet and its great. Seafood on Saturdays, brunch on Sundays. Always leave satisfied.

Mothers Day. Very busy. Ladies at the front are horrid. The rest of the staff is awesome. Great selection. Fresh. Tasty. Not haute cuisine, so dont expect it. Treated children with patience and kindness. Clean washrooms. Excellent parking. Great views. Physically challenged friendly. Excellent Vegetarian options. A fantastic family experience. #localguide
