Relaxed gay bar & nightclub offering a small menu of pub fare, plus pool, karaoke, drag shows & DJs.
Any time I go with my 18 yrs old there we have a good time the only thing I say its hot in there and the bathrooms could use a little TLC
Disgusting! Im a vegetarian and I ordered the guacamole burger AND IT HAD CHICKEN IN IT which they did not mention. Its so wrong im never going back to this place ew
Super friendly had a wonderful time!! 🥳
Was just there for their Halloween show. OMG. It was amazing.
Friendly staff great drinks fun environment feel at ease and at home with good drinks 👍 will come here again
Absolutely amazing came into town 1st time and was greeted with a smile had A-blast Sunday nights DJ was super good cant wait to be back thank you so much for an amazing time!!
Does anyone know if you have to be 21 to watch the drag shows?
So when i first was going to rickys it was not that good. Very few bartenders seemed to know what they were doing. Then i went recently and they made so many improvements. Ricky himself made me drinks and they were amazing. The whole experience became so great. I played pool there was a really good drag show and it was a fun environment to be in. Thank you ricky for making the place such a great place to hang out and have really great drinks you are the best. Next time i visit California i hope to see you again!
Im a straight male who went there with friends and enjoyed myself had a few drinks met two straight females, talked to the performers in the parking lot. Fun atmosphere great people, I support the community theres nothing wrong or different about the various communities and genders Im straight have 4 kids, I want to take my girlfriend and female friend here to experience the great socialable people of this bar and atmosphere
We (my wife and Iwanted to get out in our new town of Victorville, so we went to Ricky’s. I’m a artsy lesbian from NYC, so my point of reference would never compare to what I’m used to, but for the high desert it was more than fine and Ive lived or visited many major cities in the US and several other countries to recognize a decent place for a LBGT person to go.There was karaoke that night. They have a large selection of songs and that night there were plenty of decent singers. The only unpleasant thing was that the DJ or MC was preferential to certain or most male patrons, allowing them to sing 2-3 songs, each go around, several times throughout the night. This didn’t allow for a feeling of inclusion for women or us since we were new and hadn’t been there before. We only submitted 4 songs between us, and waited all night for the 4th song, which we never got to sing; while the same people kept singing again and again. This was a bit annoying, but not tragic- LOL!The pizza was very tasty, and the female blonde bartender was sweet and attentive. It’s clean with 2 pool tables, (free with a drink), has a decent decor for a small neighborhood bar; and lastly, the atmosphere was definitely friendly enough and yes, we would go again...
On 5/24/19 Ricky lost my debit card and couldnt find it while i was asking for it they told me to step out the line because he had a big line so i did went to the bathroom and went back they still didnt find it took forever to come back to talk to me so went and watched the show after it was over i went back and he told me to write my information down he would cover my tab and that he would call me in the morning never got that call so i had to freeze my card and order a new one terrible bartending my friends were ordering drinks and they would get something diffrent than what they asked for it was my first time going to a bar and it was just a mess never going there again
Went last night to cheer for an acquaintance who was performing. Place was busier than Id ever seen it, and the show was fun. But, Karen the bartender has absolutely no idea how to make the simplest cocktail.I asked her if she could make a Manhattan, which is a truly simple cocktail that every bartender should know: rye, vermouth, and bitters, served up (aka chilled by stirring with ice and then strained into a cocktail glass), usually garnished with a cherry.I knew I was in for a wild ride when she asked if I wanted some sort of cherry flavored bourbon, so I decided to go along for the ride, and see what she served me....It turned out to be something almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a Manhattan. She started by muddling two maraschino cherries and two under-ripe orange wedges in a rocks glass, adding a couple dashes of bitters, filling the glass with ice, and adding a jigger of cherry bourbon. Then, she topped it off with sweet and sour mix and grenadine, and garnished with another orange wedge. The only thing this drink had in common with what I ordered was the fact that she added bitters. Instead of a clean, slightly spicy drink served up, I got an overly sweet concoction with muddy fruit flavors on the rocks.I have no idea what it should be called (other than a waste of money), but it definitely wasnt even close to a Manhattan.
This is a great bar and place to be! Very fun and great drinks and prices. Bar tenders are really nice and respectful. A great place for the LGBT community. The most exciting and fun thing of this place is the drag show held at 12 am every single Saturday! Bouncers are very nice and respectful. Before 9:00pm admission is free. I, personally, enjoy the whole atmosphere of the place. Super fun and its open for straight people too! If you havent been here, you owe it to yourself to come and enjoy the vibe! And its a drama free environment. Lets keep it that way!
The male bartender helped everyone around me, and didnt look at me once, I think his name is Terrance. Not impressed
Dayshawna brings this place to life, AMAZING performer!! The bartenders are nice. Very reasonable prices for drinks and only $5 to watch the drag show. I had so much fun and I would recommend this establishment to anybody looking for a fun time with no drama. Thank you Rickys for such a great time
Very open bar. Nice show and drink specials
Great place to just go and hang out. No drama like any other place. Ricky remembers you and makes you feel welcome. Plus loads of fun on drag nights! Says its a gay bar but all kinds of people go there. Free pool. 5 bucks to watch a drag show. Food is good. This place is legit in this busted high desert with nothing to do.
I love this place beem going here for years always will be our number 1 bar to go to
It’s very small and the gay crowd is very raunchy didn’t care for the place but being as it’s the only gay bar in the whole high desert it’s not to bad . The bar tenders are very nice the kj’s kinda suck but they have been improving
My partner and I are visiting from Portland, OR for a family event and we found this bar to be the only gay bar in the area and family members were worried about our safety regarding the demographic and the area and we decided to go anyway. It was a wonderful experience, the bar had wonderful decorations that made it unique in its own way. You could tell at the bar that There was a sense of community, almost everyone we saw was hugging and laughing with each other having a good time before a drag show for the evening. The drag queens were wonderful and are worth every tip! The bar is a very open atmosphere and I recommend visiting if you’re in the area!!!!!
Usually come here often, very friendly bartenders. They have 2 pool tables and I play usually during the week while having a drink.
I absolutely love this place! The drag queens and drag kings are absolutely amazing! Staff is welcoming and remembers regulars. Bartender Dakota is also a great character to have at the establishment!
The people that do karaoke there they are amazing every time I go there I end up being very sociable with everyone else people come up and talk and we just all feel right at home with each other theres not a whole lot of loud music theres breaks in between the song so that way you could talk if you do not like gay people than you might want to avoid this place because there are some that do enjoy going there themselves, Im not gay so its not a hundred percent gay bar. theres a lot of parking they do have food there and you are in a good environment at least thats what I feel
Always friendly bartenders and sometimes friendly clientele. Always a pleasant experience though. They also have good food.
Great time went for ladies night with the male dancers lots of fun❤
Lousy owners and crappy business practices. Really wish they would make this a safe and enjoyable place for everyone. Owner Michael claims to have been an ex fireman yet lacks all safety concerns such as electrical plates or not mixing water with electricity. Really surprised this place can keep its doors open with such bad management. Shame because people of their community relay on a safe and comfortable place to be yet they seem to care less whether that is provided or not.
Reasonable drink prices, fun atmosphere and good people.
Dope place to hang out. Cute lil stage with awesome drag shows. Much better than that bro magnet Sandbar!
Awesome environment and the people were great! drinks were a good price and had so much fun
Early bird drink specials till 8pm, two pool tables, karaoke, drag shows nightly.
Great time everytime we go ! Friendly bartenders and small but nice crowd. Check it out.
A typical dive bar. The bartender on duty wasnt very good, serving drinks in the wrong glasses, and really heavy pouring, and he kept going out for smoke breaks. He tended to pay more attention to the young, pretty customers than everyone else.
Love the vibes the security always makes us feel safe. Drinks are well made.
Everyone is nice & fun. Good customer service when Karen is there. But Ricky is the most disrespectful person Ive ever met
This bar for gay and lesbence ,You can smoke vibe inside bar,The dj not good ,FREE PARKING ,
My boss and his wife decided to take me out to a club after finishing our day well the club the close we came across this one Ruckis,Bar and i mentioned a persons who worked there we decided to stop and check out the spot charge $5.00 to enter good customer service crowded and security was on it we were out of place totally immediately decided to bounce out we laugh at my bosss he was angry to be taken to a transvestite show ...
The drag show quality is very poor. The dj was playing SelenaReally dude. And theres an annoying ass employee trying to hustle the pool table. Very lame.
I dont know why the hell you would charge for water in a place you dance and be active? That seems kind of messed up if you ask me but besides that, its still a nice place. Nice DJ and excellent shows.
Great service. Very fun place. Really good food.
Our go-to local hangout!! Great folks, super KJ Ty and Ricky & Mike (ownersare awesome. Bartenders rock and its always a fun time.
They took our drink two night in a row way before 1:30. First time we were at the table, second time, we were outside smoking and we left for l only five minutes.
I love this place I had a great time very cool and fun people. Great entertainment on Friday nights also if your into drag shows
Great place. Fix the heater and replace the missing 13 ball, already!
Great happy bunch of people and the karaoke is the best you can find in the high desert or down the hill.
My favorite place to relax in town! Nice and sleek hang out there!
Actually A nice chill little spot. Not just for gay.Good vibes, chill atmosphere
Rickys is a super friendly home town bar. Everyone is welcome! Ty is the very best KJ in the High desert. The owners are incredibly loving and accommodating. The bartenders are friendly and fun. I really love this place and all the regulars that make it feel like "the place to be". :D
