Richfields Deli & Grill - Caterer in Reading, United Kingdom
Really great cafe serving delicious hearty food. I would definitely recommend the stack em up, main highlight for me was the coriander & jalapeno sauce. Very strong coffee
Good food at fair prices and friendly serviceWe had breakfast twice and shared both dishes. We shared an English breakfast and the berry pancakes as well as the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon pancakes. The coffee was good. The lunch options were also tasty and more than enough.A reservation won’t be necessary. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Food was amazing. We had soup, chorizo tostie and fries. Waiting time is a little bit long but everything was fresh and very warm. The only disappointing thing is that we ordered fresh apple and orange juice as it says on the menu fresh, and it was just a normal juice from the bottle. Little bit overpriced for a glass of bottled juice. Overall good place for breakfast.
This is a hidden gem of Reading. The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing! Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The dishes are quirky and not what you’d usually find in a normal cafe or diner, but they taste incredible. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants their tastebuds tickled.
Rude, asks you to leave the second you finish your food. Just pure greedy. The fry was bland, bacon soaked in oil and over cooked.. wont be going back
First class food and service. I loved my "hot mess" wrap and the pancakes were great too. But really the staff made it special, so lovely and friendly. Ill definitely be back. Thanks so much 😁
Wow! Amazing food and very friendly. A wide selection of healthy and indulgent breakfast dishes with really interesting twists, and delicious coffee.
I used to come here a lot a few years ago, but recently when I came here, the breakfast was extortionatley priced. I was disappointed to notice that they used Aldi bread. And not all ingredients are of the highest quality for the price. £18 for a full English breakfast. There’s definitely much cheaper and better places to eat with better quality produce.
Drive past all the time and always go down the river nearby and have wanted to try for ages. Was not dissapointed good service and yunmy food . I has the All American! plenty of syrup and pancakes. My partner had a breakfast wrap and insisted i tried. Wow the taste was amazing. Would like to point out that once sat in it did not feel at all that we were on a main road more like on holiday. Cant wait to visit again.
What a surprise find in Caversham Road. Beautiful food, great staff
A little pricey but the service was good, the coffee was decent and the food is delicious! If you like American pancakes, give this place go
Really great coffee, delicious menu, and really lovely owners! Very grateful to have this on my doorstep.
Stopped by yesterday for coffee and cake. Iced coffee was fab and the brownies and pecan bakes were lovely. Will visit this little gem again if in the area.
Super nice food..lovely atmosphere! Close to New Hope church which is a definite bonus.
The breakfast was good, although the hollandaise sauce was clearly not homemade. Would give it another chance!
Gorgeous food and smoothies as always - and this time a beautiful tasting platter of homemade cakes for a celebration too! Perfect!
Very tasty food. Great customer service although we did have to wait maybe 20-30mins for the breakfast to come. Was a busy weekend brunch day. Also food was on the greasier side
The first time was too much oil. The second time we waited 40 minutes in a partial empty shop for burnt hash brown with a row core, cold eggs, and rubberised bacon. When we asked for our breakfast, we received also aditute.
Best breakfast in town. Fiery Eggs Benedict is a must, although the new Chorizo Hash could be my new favourite
An unexpected gem! Happened upon this place after a meeting at the hotel over the road and had a delicious veggie breakfast burrito! Will certainly be happening upon it again :)
Fantastic breakfast. The home-made hash browns... scrambled eggs... all amazing. Great value - will come again.
Food was great at a modest price, but will not return as they are understaffed resulting in waiting over an hour for a simple fried breakfast.
Pretty good choice for breakfast, tried the burrito and full.Coffee not great, staff are kind and courteous.Same level as yolk, both are good options - seating at yolk is better with their recent renovation.
Fresh food and coffee, and lovely staff. The breakfast with smashed avocado and chorizo is absolutely spot on! Generous portions, freshly cooked 👌🏼
The best breakfast that I have had in ages! The Firery Eggs Bennie with home made hash browns, were to die for! Lovely service...a real find😋
Breakfast choices were numerous. Loved the deep fried poached egg with spicy hollandaise sauce so much. Never had similar flavor elsewhere. The staff was so nice that after my coffee was served and I had drunk half of it, he returned to offer me another cup because he thought the first cup was not perfect enough.
Have some really interesting brunch options here as well as friendly staff and good coffee. Sometimes I wake up just craving the rosti style hash browns.
Amazing food with modern twist, great service. My favourite. Will be back again and again
Waited for 25 minutes for 2 takeaway toasties. We were in a rush and would have appreciated if the staff would have told us it was going to take that long. Not a great experience, cannot recommend.
A hidden little gem in Reading. Went for breakfast after them positive reviews and I wasnt let down. Had the rise n shine tortilla and it was very delicious. Had the right kick to it and was very filling. It was complemented by the flat white which tasted like a proper coffee and not what you get in those coffee shops chains.Suz was amazing. Very friendly and professional. Had a lovely chat with her. Will surely be back again
Awful food, ordered egg benedict full of onions, watery raw poached eggs, hard sourdough, oil dripping hash browns and had to wait half hour for the food. Literally had two bites and couldn’t eat more. Tried it as the alternative of coppa club. Money wasted.
A cosy, casual café where you can get nice breakfast or brunch and they serve delicious coffee. Nice accomodating staff and the food is great. Will be coming here for my breakfast from now on
Before lockdown this was one of my fav places to go and eat. The pancakes are delicious and the toast are so filing! I cant wait to go and visit again now that things are opening up :)
Wow! I just finished what can only be described as the best butty Ive ever eaten. I opted for both sausage and bacon (but streaky bacon insteadwith the breakfast potatoes and cheese. It was amazing. Im in actual shock at how good this tasted. From the herbs in the sausages to the crispy streaky bacon to the actual chunks of cheese (not grated, actual chunks!)... it all just melted together and tasted amazing. Probably the best sandwich Ive eaten in Caversham in a looooooonnnng time!
Delicious! Products are fresh and tasty. Only bad side is the condiments from Aldi ☹️!? Please decent food deserves decent condiments.Update: menus has been changed with new 🙂 (were damaged and dirty). Also could you add tips/gratitude option to the card reader? Cash is so outdated.
This is quite a nice place. The food is good. The decor is not quite as fine as it looks in the photo. Things seemed more worn than I would have expected. For example, the menus are very tatty and spattered with food and stains. The range of cold drinks was rather limited, I recall. Basically, fizzy pop or water. But for a quick bite for lunch it is the best place around that particular area.
Great brunch, small and cozy place with outside seating, perfect for a sunny day
Easy parking outside during working hours. This is the posh all day breakfast deli compared to The Gorge just down the road. All day breakfast was excellent. Great that they are flexible and you can substitute items. Food quality was excellent.. great sausage and dry cured bacon. Fresh mushrooms! Massive large cup of tea. They have an Italian expresso machine!Staff are pleasant and attentive. Come again? Yes.Suggestion - think about doing an early bird special at reduced price pre 10am.
Amazing, amazing place!! This review is waaay long overdue but I’ve been to this lovely location twice and I loved it both times! Everyone is so friendly, shop is clean, well lit and organized in such a way that it’s easy to maneuver without bumping into other tables or people. My first visit I had a latte with a delicious carrot cake. During my second visit, enjoyed a latte again along with the firey eggs bennie and pulled Korean jack fruit with salad! Everything was delicious. Will keep coming back for sure 👏🏼👏🏼P.S. don’t neglect their baked goods....yummy :)
One of the best places to get brunch. All day traditional breakfast and some really imaginative dishes as well. Nice staff and atmosphere.
Visited at a very busy time and i think the staff were new so was bit chaotic, however they were friendly no communication that would be around 15 minute wait on 2 cold baguettes to take away. Food was nice when it came, would still return. I had the beef baguette and my partner had the cajun chicken baguette (ask for napkins as we didnt recieved oneboth messy with sauce.
Our go to place for brunch or breakfast. Today we had RDGs Firey Eggs Bennie and Up & At ‘em. Friendly service, even though it was a busy Saturday morning.
A promising menu which didn’t live up to expectation. The ketchup and teabags were from aldi which makes me question what else was too. Banana milkshake and iced coffee weren’t great. Very strong and bits of banana in. Actual breakfast was ok but not for the price. The cafe interior is very nice though
this place does amazing food. Ive been there a few times for breakfast and tried different dishes. everyone I take there is blown away by the quality. best brekfasts in town by a long way. he place has a lovely vibe. welcoming, friendly & genuine. amazing veggy options too.dont order food if youre in a rush as meals are from scratch and take time to prepare. have a delicious coffee while you wait.
Had DELICIOUS blueberry pancakes and a smoothie here. Great portion size, really nicely presented and the service was awesome. Spied on other plates that were coming out and they looked great too. New favourite spot!
Coffee was great and the staff were super-friendly. I had the breakfast burrito, which was really tasty.Theres a cycle rack outside, which makes this great post-ride stop.
What a great spot for a delicious Reading breakfast any time of day with super friendly staff. Our food was made fresh, with care. The chef came out of the kitchen offering to customize our vegetarian order, subbing meat with avocado and other sauces. The result was beautifully presented and the best Reading breakfast Ive had. This place is a little gem! A must for breakfast lovers.
Fantastic food friendly staff, recently refitted and updated menu. Best breakfasts in Reading.
One of the best places for a quick bite in town. Looking forward to the new grill expansion - the service is always excellent and the food always fresh. A must visit when youre in the areaGrill is open- staff is always amazing. Food is out of this world! Specials are on point & their standard menu never disappoints. Grab a blondie brownie or piece of pie to top off a perfect meal
Lovely, Friendly and Helpful staff - Great catering service that provides a excellent variety of food and drink. All freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches and the best home baked cakes that goes nicely with a good quality cup of coffee! Really delicious! Highly recommend if youre in the area or if youre putting on an event!
