Rice and Noodles - Korean restaurant in Richland, United States
I cant believe we ordered 2 dishes! Most blandness pad thai Ive ever tasted, from a noodle place. It literally tasted like cooking oil and spices. It looks like I ordered this from the prison commissary. When I opened the to-go lid I felt like you hated me.This dish was such a joke that half of the price was for the punchline. Its funny and embarrassing 😂You taught me a money losing lesson. Dont come here again.
I learned my lesson thinking that i could get a quality Pad Thai at a Korean restaurant.
Ive been here several times and its my favorite Asian restaurant in the Tri Cities. My girlfriend is part Korean, and we go here specifically for the excellent selection of Korean dishes and Kimchi.
I absolutely love this place! Got introduced to it by a friend of mine, and it’s been hard to find a place that compares to it! Portion size is great and the quality of food blew my expectations away. Give it a try, you will not regret!
Expensive low quality food not worth your time.
Used to be a 5 star. Now a 1 star. The portions are so small now and prices raised. Food was so bad tonight. This used to be my favorite restaurant. Our stomachs are churning!
Im sure you have all heard the saying of "Dont judge a book by its cover". This place is just that. At first glance, the small restaurant may not seem appealing but if you are here to enjoy great food then this is the place for you. Friendly owners and a large selection of menu items, with my personal favorite, beef udon. Dont be shy to pass on this place, support your local business, especially when the food is delicious.
Had the chicken fried rice and it was good.
Bought the Beef Noodle Soup for dinner while at work tonight. I am so disappointed. There is very little flavor and the noodles are so over cooked they are mushy. Not going to be able to finish this $20 bowl of mushy flavorless soup. The best part was the egg.
Everything is excellent!!! Whether eating in it taking out !! Fresh & awesomely delicious !Again the very best !! Deliciously wow !!Fresh and more than worth it !! Looking forward to the next time !!
Some of the best Korean food Ive had outside of Korea. Their house made kimchi is suoer tasty too. recommend
Food was good but the price, omg. It was 4 of us and we got beef teriyaki, 2 plates of chicken yakisoba 2 plates of California rolls and 3 drinks. $120!!!!!!!!!!! I know we all upgraded to fried rice but holy s**t! I was still not expecting that. So we wont be going back anytime soon.
As a 3rd Generation Korean kid I can say with certainty that Rice and Noodles has the best and most authentic Korean food in the Tri-Cities. Their Bibimbap is fantastic and the Tofu Haemul Sundubu is to die for. Plus the sides of kimchis both cabbage and cucumber is amazing. And thats not even mentioning how easy it is to make much of the menu Vegan. Although if you are a very strict Vegan you might be in a little trouble if you eat here because, well, Kimchi isnt always Vegan so youll have to inquire about that.
I find that everything is pretty expensive for the amount you get. I got teriyaki, fried rice, gyoza and yakisoba and it cost me $37. And the portions were abysmal. Not to mention greasy rice that left my stomach hurting
Tried this place on a whim and was really pleasantly surprised! Good service, tons of options, good prices, and the food was delicious. I had the tofu and veggie bibimbap and will definitely be back for more.
Ive been a happy customer for a few years and today Im very disappointed, ordered Pho and got super soggy mushy noodles and only 3-4 tiny pieces of beef. I called to see whats up and the lady says to me its OK next time I give you more. Not cool at all.that attitude is poor customer service...
My wife is full Korean and Im half vietnamese; we took both our parents here for lunch and really enjoyed it. They have a varied selection of staple Korean dishes and all the ones we tried were delicious! Our group had Yukgaejang, Jiamppong, and Soondobu. Now that we have a Korean spot in Tri Cities we cant wait to try more of their dishes!
Definitely wasn’t into this place the customer service was good sweet lady but the food wasn’t good to me the steamed gyoza I ordered was cold in some parts and warm on others. Ordered a plate of general Tso chicken. And the chicken was tough to chew. I had the egg rolls those were good fried perfect. Also got stir fry which came out good to. I was not happy about the price for the quality of food.
I have never left a restaurant review in my life. I have also never received food this concerning. I ordered pork fried rice and a California roll. Traditionally California rolls are not served hot, but at least those were edible. I also ordered the pork fried rice and my pork is grey!!! The rice is also so soggy it is comparable to the worst mashed potatoes you could imagine. I thought fried rice should be cooked more since its fried? Whats worse is i called and the response from the restaurant was incredibly casual as though grey meat is acceptable. It was only when I reminded him that bad pork can make people really sick and he should know better than to say it was okay that he was finally sympathetic.Be better, I like to support local business. This isnt it.
Weve been here multiple times, order different soups and chowmein and sides and they were all so delicious! They have gluten free options like pho or glass noodles stirfry. The owners, I assume, are so friendly and nice, they recognized us after the first couple times when we had our kids and asked after them when we showed up without them! Just the perfect amount of service, where they arent constantly checking in and getting in your hair, but your cups arent empty long and you get what you need. Decent prices, large portions and good people! Highly recommend, go check them out!
Food is good and price is fair. The amount of meat served is sad though. Would have have rated 3 stars, but the food is good, so Ill probably order from here agian, eventually.
been there multiple times and have tried different things each time, always delicious. My personal favorite Asian place in town
They are realy stingy with the meats in their food. The seafood soup only had 1 shrimp a clam and no other seafood. They also only put 4 very small pieces of chicken in my chicken yakosaba. The food tasted very bad and for the price and small quantity of food they give you, you are better off going somewhere else. I will never buy food from this place again.
Friendly and detailed service. Feels homey, and food is good along with decent prices for great serving portions.😋
Extremely oily and bland taste. I wouldnt say it was awful, but definitely not on par with what I expected. The noodles tasted more like bland italian. Overall just not a great experience. Ive been to a lot of restaurants in the area, and this was definitely one of the worst. Really the only thing they got right was the teriyaki chicken.
😡😡The lady Served us calbitang soup, rice andbimbap. I told her the bimbap taste bad and spoiled, She just grab my food and eat it with her hand and she said no it’s fine then she tried giving that plate back to me,i said no thank you just keep it.i was disgust shes tried arguing with me ,she charged me for everything..I didn’t want to argue with her so i paid and leave. Never going back here and i hope they won’t do this again!!😡😡😡😡😡😡
service was exceptional! I got there 10 minutes before close (sorryand was treated very nicely. The food came out very quickly and was so delicious, especially for takeout. Super filling and reminded me of home cooked dinners. Really reasonably priced too, especially for so much variety.
EXCELLENT! Such a great experience, im so glad that I stop by, now this will be my regular stop. Great taste, place is clean and pleasant, Jennifer (serversuch a warm and attentive helpful person @ cute, i want to try more of kitchen magic they have there GOOD Job! I had yuk-gae-jang.
Great food for a great price. Owners are very kind and the restaurant is very clean to eat at. Helpful that they have a big menu with pictures to help decide on what to eat. They take all forms of payment and are food ordering app ready.
I Got the teriyaki beef it looked really good, but once I started digging in to the "beef" looked like it was a cross between scrambled blood and cat food with a few small chunks of beef. Friend got the pad Thai and said it was bland and only tasted of boiled noodles. The place was also quite dirty.
One of our favorite places to eat 😁 The couple who own this restaurant are so nice! They are very attentive when they serve the food makes you feel at home. 🏡 My favorite dish is the teriyaki chicken with the option of fried rice. The food is served quickly and it so yummy 😋 &They have beer here🍻
I wasnt feeling well and needed a big bowl of chicken udon soup. It was perfect. I would have given 5 stars but the floor was dirty.I have had chicken teriyaki here and its also very good.
So glad I stopped! Use Google maps to find it. This could be a Korean restaurant in a vegas 5 star hotel and charge 4X amount. Very fresh tasting and healthy. Lots of menu choices but recommend ordering off the Korean section. The kim chi was excellent and I usually dont like kim chi. I hope to be back!!
Rice and Noodles is at the East end of the strip mall so you have to look for it. It looks to be run by a husband/wife team, both Koreans. The Mrs speaks English well and has a smile when she looks you in the eye. There wasnt a long wait and the serving was tasty and of adequate size to satisfy me; a hungry working man. Its clean and neat but never crowded. People were coming in for take-out orders while I ate my meal in the corner. I found myself hoping that they get "discovered" enough to fill the modest dining room. Ive been there about 3 times and plan to continue patronizing them. Stop in!
This place had amazing food for the price ordered the orange chicken, and beef friend rice, the friend rice had hints of coconut, which really made the flavor pop! Wife ordered some noodles very well presented, service wasnt the best but made up for it in quality enjoyed the left overs next day.
Teriyaki is fine, sushi is NOT sushi. For one, they dont use any fish at all, just imitation crab meat. Most importantly though, their "sushi" is just the same HOT rice they use for everything else. This is not sushi. I also asked if I could get fish eggs on what ended up being a hot and soggy California roll (they put them on another itemand the waitress told me "they said no fish eggs". What??
Great place!! Nice environment, great food , very nice help. Will definitely be back soon!! First time trying Kimchee with my daughter. 😊was not bad..not what I thought it would be like , much better.😁
Very disappointed. I will not be ordering food here again, the noodles were hard and dry. The chicken pad thai had no flavor , it was nasty. The order of chicken teriyaki was only a few chicken grilled strips the rest all hard cabbage with dry plastic tasting noodles. We just Tossed food to the garbage. Waste of almost 40 dollars.
Excellent food, the variety in the menu is amazing! Very timely with the cooking, friendly and courteous staff. We have been several times, everything we ordered has been really good and the portion sizes are quite generous. They serve Chinese, Korean and Japanese dishes. We certainly make it a point to come back. Average price for a plate is $10. Quiet atmosphere.
Excellent food and a very nice staff. Three of us enjoyed a very nice meal with nice portions, easy price and tastee. They even gave me a fork to use ... thought I just came from Vietnam where I live. Before returning home I will bring a few friends here to enjoy a meal. Plenty of parking. Come during the slow part of the day and just enjoy a long comfortable meal.
I went here solely because it was highly rated and I had a craving for some Vietnamese food. I figured Id get a bowl of pho, but when I sat down noticed a placard stating now serving a dish whose name I dont recall, but it was a tomato & tamarind based broth with rice noodles and crab & pork meatballs. It was interesting and hit the spot on a cool evening. I was pleased the plate of bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil leaves, and lime werent piled high as I only typically utilize about half of what is supplied and in this case it was just the right amount. The restaurant is spartan but had a good atmosphere and friendly serving staff.
The place was near empty during the height of the dinner hour. Reviews were pretty good so I decided to try it. WORST FOOD EVER! My chicken udon smelled like wet dog, tasted unlike anything Ive ever eaten before, the chicken was old and dry and veggies were few and of poor quality. My daughters teriyaki chicken was just about the same quality; tasted a little off and meat was old and dry. Wont be going back.
I had high hopes for this place. Another option in town for Korean food would have been great. My wife had teriyaki chicken and I ordered bibimbap. Her food arrived a good 10 minutes before mine. She said the chicken was dry and the rice was cold. Her chicken was definitely cooked before hand and warmed up. The bibimbap started out ok, but the stone bowl was so hot that despite my stirring, it over cooked everything. I ended up with a bowl of crispy hard rice and veggies/tofu (I omitted the beefthat were too hot to eat. Even the spoon I was using to stir it became hot to the touch and was still steaming when we paid the bill.
Very average. Nothing impressed me, but it wasnt terrible either. The Chicken Katsu was dry, my vegetable Pad Thai was quite bland and strangely flavored (oily as well), the cucumber roll was too big and loose, and the salad was wet (as in water puddled under the lettuce). The fried gyoza were pretty decent though and I enjoyed the sauces. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but it was a forgettable dining experience with nothing standing out as worth returning for. The restaurant itself seemed clean and the owners were friendly.
We went to this restaurant on a whim to try something new. The restaurant is laid back and casual, the waitress is very friendly. The food is very authentic and there is a lot of items on the menu that I had never even heard of before. It was a lot of fun trying something new that Ive never had before. Definitely worth visiting the restaurant again. The waitress was really kid friendly with our two year old as well
If you are looking for great Asian food at a great price, this is the place. Hands down the best egg rolls in the Tri-cities. The staff are very friendly and the overall atmosphere has a very "At-home-at-grandmas, laid back" feel.
Food was good, they have some authentic dishes and American style ones. I had the chicken chow mein, egg rolls, and the banana tempura. Customer service was also on point. Decent prices as well for two main dishes, appetizer and dessert, plus drinks it was thirty dollars and eight cents that is not bad. ($30.08If you are in the area come and check them out. (My only wish is for more authentic dishes)
Everytime I come here I fall in love with the cuisine even more. My girlfriend and I have become avid fans of the food and exceptional service. Definitely a must have if youve never had Korean or are looking for awesome Asian food.
Excellent experience. We werent super experienced with Korean food so the owner took extra time to go over the menu with us and even showed us the traditional way to mix/eat our selections. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. I got the seafood version of the Bibimbap, and my lady got the beef version. Sooo good. The couple next to us got some soup that looked awesome. Support this local biz. I would recommend eating in house.
The food was DELICIOUS and super healthy and fresh! I was driving through on a long road trip and needed a quick healthy meal - and this was by far the perfect place. The owners were so friendly and caring - wanting all their customers to be happy and satisfied. Eat here - you will love it!
