Riad d'Or in Meknes

Siamo stati benissimo, dovevano essere 3 notti e son diventate 4! La struttura é bellissima, marocchina 10 e lode, un labirinto di angoli bellissimi a partire dal piccolo cortile dellaccoglienza fino al terrazzo con piscina su mille livelli. Staff simpatico, super disponibile, gentilissimo ed attento. Abbiamo cenato anche due volte mangiando benissimo e gustando cose molto diverse. Colazione abbondante e con qualche chicca diversa ogni giorno. Noi eravamo in 5, 3 stanze diverse tra loro, tutte particolari e curate. Meknes era la nostra prima tappa del nord ed é diventata il punto base per visitare anche Fes... ottima scelta! Grazie!

Beautiful riad. Issam was very nice and attentive. The breakfast was good.I wish they had given us a key for the door outside so we dont have to knock every time we want to come into the riad.

Riad au top, il est bien situé pour l’été il y a la piscine qui est assez grande pour un Riad bon point positif et les petits déjeuners sont copieux. Ils sont à votre petit soin et vous conseille sur la moindre information. Je recommande fortement, à très bientôt !

Riad DOr is in the perfect location in Meknes. Right in the medina, only a few minutes from the Medersa Bou Inania, one of the best sights in Meknes.The rooms are amazing, the salon downstairs one of the most beautiful Ive seen in Morocco.Staff was very nice and helpful with any questions I had.

Stupendo riad appena entrati nella Medina di meknes, la colazione migliore di tutto il nostro viaggio in Marocco , super terrazza panoramica . Camere enormi e bellissime . Purtroppo c’è stato una incomprensione sul pagamento finale , dove oltre la carissima tassa di soggiorno di 2,50€ a persona , voleva pure 7,50€ di commissioni , quando alla fine potevo pagare solo in contanti , allucinante , alla fine abbiamo trovato una via di mezzo ma non ho mai avuto questa incomprensione con Booking.com

Great hotel. Located in the heart of the city in a historic building. There are many interesting halls, staircases and passages inside. Lovely terrace. Courteous and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

The best meal in All Morocco after one month of touring

Best rooftop terrasse in MoroccoRiad dOr is the most adorable Riad, very spacious and the largest terrasse we are yet to experience in Morocco. It is the most perfect spot to chillout, 360 degree views, designed for comfort and soak in the everlasting sun (there is even a rooftop pool) that we have been blessed with in this wonderful country. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing and listening to the call to prayer from the 28 nearby mosques, its magical!The rooms are all unique and very spacious, beds are heavenly with a nice hot shower and great water pressure.The team make you feel at home, they are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much and you leave feeling part of the family.Breakfast is an abundance of pastries, fruit, fresh orange juice and Moroccan omelette. Coffee is excellent too! Dinners are very enjoyable and food is delicious. Restaurant is a great space overlooking a beautiful courtyard.There is many hideouts throughout the Riad, to find some quiet time to chillout and relax over some local tea with a great book, you feel like you have booked the entire Riad.Location is perfect and everything is a short walk, you are in the Medina so all conveniences on your doorstep, or a 6 dirham taxi ride away.Fantastic recommendation from their sister hotel in Dades Valley, Auberge Chez Pierre. Both are run from the same family and the quality of both is exceptional. Very consistent throughout both hotels and the cleanliness is as good as any hospital. The staff are so diligent in cleaning from top to bottom each day.Thank you so much to you all for welcoming us into your Riad for one week, it has been the perfect place to spend our last week in Morocco after 3 months travelling your most beautiful country. We hope to see you all again someday soon.

We only ate there, but the food was amazing and prices cant be beat. Very nice change from the usual.

A stay in Meknes should be at a Riad worthy of the city’s history. Riad D’or is exactly that - rich in artisanal finishes, 17th century detail and stunning views of the Imperial city. Multiple terraces offer seating, sun beds and even a roof top swimming pool.The rooms are spacious, beautiful and well ventilated. The service by staff is excellent and the breakfast ranks at the top of those we’ve enjoyed in Morocco. Only a short walk to Bab alMansour and Madersa Abounania, the riad is conveniently located and easily accessible. Highly recommended!

Very helpful and friendly staff. We went there for a breakfast, which was pretty well. Did cost us around 8€ and worth it.

A stunning riad, there are 3 courtyards with exquisite original tiling and decoration. Much better than some tourist attractions we had paid to see! They have a pool and an expansive roof terrace. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. However it would be worth noting that almost all tourist attractions have closed down in Meknes so there was not a great deal to see here.

For 500dh/night they really would afford room cleaning every day. The staff spend all day sitting with they friends at the street acting loudly. Ants are everywhere and nobody seems to care. The whole riad looks rather neglected. They will offer you trip to Volubilis for a price higher than other organizers.

Nice hotel

One of the best places that we stayed in Morocco. It was a little bit more expensive than the places that we normally book but totally worth the money! Our room was very original and the hallway is magnificent. The breakfast was the best I ever had here in Morocco.

One of my favorite accommodations in Morocco! Very well decorated, nice breakfast and quiet. It makes us stay longer than we planned:the bedding wasn’t so clean though. But would love to go back to Meknes just for this lovely hotel.

Incredible place and a warren of corridors and rooms each of which has their own querky twists. Its cold in November. The restaurant is accessed either using the maze of corridors at first floor level or by going to it down the alleyway.

This is the absolute best place I stayed at in the entire Morocco. Remarkable. My room was so well designed, everything in tile mosaic. I still cant believe it and sent home a video tour of the entire place! By the way, this terrace is something else. Request a tea here, before or during the sunset, wear your best clothes for this photoshoot. The terrace!!!!

Best hotel ive been so far. Cosy with a friendly staff. The waiter Mohammed is really Nice and he Made as feel very confortable.The swimming pool in the ruff is very nice as well. At night you Can see all the medina while you have a drink in the ruff.The bedrooms are very confortable but thé best places are the dinningroom and thé breakfast room.A beautiful Hidden palace where we felt like Kings and ate as sultans

Superb, labyrinthine Palace in Meknes

We enjoyed this labyrinthic Riad. The service was outstanding and our children were treated exceptionally. Dining on the top terrace was a treat, wonderful food, cosy atmosphere and excellent service.
