Rhos Fynach - Pub in Llandudno, United Kingdom
I had a lasagna lite bite meal which tastes nice. The issue was the lasagna was the smallest portion I have ever seen not worth £8.95. Staff were friendly and polite
Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphereStopped for lunch after walking the dog. Love that it is dog friendly. Had sandwich and coffee. Both really good. Bar staff even brought water and dog treat for my dog to enjoy whilst I ate. Will definitely be visiting again
This place is impressive light airy well set out with well spoken attentive staffAn excellent venue and absolutely wonderful food
Warm welcome when our group of four arrived. Very good choice for food and drink. Food cooked on the premises and generous portions which were delicious. A very popular and friendly establishment. My second time there and I could not fault my Sunday lunch of roast beef. My wife enjoyed the scampi and our two friends couldnt believe the size of their burger choices, enormous. You will not leave hungry!
We enjoyed our meal ( a nice vegetarian selection , good prices and friendly service. Wed come back.
Just popped in for a quick drink. Lovely old pub with friendly staff. Sat outside where theres plenty of tables. Very quaint building where Captain Morgan used to live. Loved the witches shelves on the chimneys ( so they can stop for a rest and not curse the building). Also rumoured to have tunnels running to near the small chapel on the beach. Will call again.
Had a wonderful time here today, celebrating my daughters baby shower. Staff very friendly and the service is excellent:)
Nice pub, serving a good selection of food. Seems a popular haunt and Dog friendly outside.
Only stopped for a coffee and cake but it was very good, the staff were freindly and even treated our dogs like quests. There is also a varied choice of draught ales, I will definately return, recommended.
Great Sunday lunch. Great meals at a great price.
The food was excellent but Ive given it 4 stars because we went on the Friday evening and because we hadnt booked they could serve us even though there was hardly any one dining and there was no reserved on any of the other tables which were not set up for anyone. But we wasnt put off, we booked for Saturday evening.
When checked in not shown to table The waiter was very pleasant. Ordered food then waited over an hour. It is all freshly cooked and i doint mind a reasonable wait. A party of 12 came in after we had ordered, i appreciate they had preordered but they were then served a long time before us. My husband had to go and ask about our meals. We werent even asked if we wanted more drinks. Not informed it would be a long wait. The food when it came was very nice.
Great place for dining inside or out.Good selection of drinks.Small car park.Dog friendly.
Nice pub/restaurant if you are in Rhos on sea service was a little slow and food could have been hotter but we will go again when in the area
Day out with a friend. Nice food from a superb Kenyan chef!
First time here very nice food staff very friendly definitely go there again next time Im in North Wales
Visited with my family at the weekend. The Tavern Team were so friendly, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend, such a positive atmosphere 👌🏻
Went for drinks and lunch at the Fynach Tavern today. The welcome was lovely. The staff were super friendly and the food was lovely. Would definitely go back and recommend it. 👍Vegan burgers were delish.
Always a warm an friendly reception from the staff .the menu is full of excellent chioces to suit every tasteBeer selection is good .this place has a rustic charm about It have visited on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed well done to the team
Great food and service. Nice place to drink eat and chill in Rhos on sea. Would defo recommend.
Lovely pub, not too expensive. Staff where friendly and very welcoming. Definitely recommend the pizzas . Child friendly. Toilets where clean. Nice seating area outside. Definitely recommend this place.
Would definitely recommend The Rhos Fynach They have a great menu My daughter and I had the vegan lasagne which was amazing and very reasonably priced. The food is lovely!!
Excellent food, and the prices are very reasonable. I cant compliment the staff enough. Well trained, professional and friendly young people. The atmosphere too was warm and welcoming. Added greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday. Well done everyone.
Amazing Food!! Fish was fresh and the batter was so crispy!! Very nice place for a pub lunch. Great stuff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice G&T but no toilet roll in toilet. Also staff made a point of telling us no kids when we were outside and it was pretty dead. I understand that rules see rules though and it was Friday night afterall.
Food is amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. Dog friendly, and plenty of space inside and outside. Has a lovely little crazy golf.
Lovely little pub, a nice selection of ales, a various cocktails on draught and a simple wonderful menu for those who enjoy trips around North Wales.
Our first visit here absolutely brilliant great food and service good drinks what more can you ask for 👍❤️
We called in Rhos Fynach on our day out for lunch, he came out the greet us, and gave excellent service considering there was 20 of us from Heald green townswomen Guild.
Been here twice this week, once for dinner and then lunchtime today. Delicious food , great staff, beautiful venue. Totally recommend this ❤
We only stopped for a quick coffee, but it was faultless. Table service with a smile, lovely flat white coffee for me and we know next time where to go for a bite to eat a well 👍
Dog friendly in all areas inside and out, great food and service. The pub itself is steeped in history and is beautiful inside. We had light bite lunch, which was lovely and a good price. We will be back if in this area again for holidays.
Lovely meal apart from the greedy seagull that took half of my friends chips off her plate while we were sitting under cover! Cant complain about the food or the service. Would recommend a visit.
Had lunch here. Friendly chatty barman gave us choice where to sit. Liked the atmosphere and decor, has lots of old charm and timber beams give it a good feel. Food was fine too. Nice place to stop off and close to the beach.
Was given a nice welcome as we walked in! (but that’s where the good endedThe four of us were shown to our table and then left for a good twenty minutes until one of us had to get up and go the bar to see if we could order drinks, which we ordered 2 Pepsi max without ice and two other drinks, both Pepsi max’s came with ice, so that had to be changed, we then waited a further 20 minutes to order our meal ( and we were the only table in there eatingwhen ordering one of the meals on the menu came with coleslaw we asked if it came separate as my dad doesn’t like it but was passing it to one of us, we waited another 30 minutes for our meals, Dads meal came with coleslaw on his meal touching the salad and chips, which he was not pleased with, my fish was disgusting like a cheap grey pollock not a lovely white cod! The other meals were ok, very very disappointed and will not be eating here again nor recommending, honestly save your money there’s nicer places to eat with a great atmosphere which this didn’t have. We didn’t even stay for desert which we had planned to before entering.
We turned up without a reservation, but the manager found us a table. The atmosphere was vibrant but not too loud. It had the feel of a local pub, it was quite packed and several groups were eating which is always a good endorsement. Our food was clearly cooked to order, but arrived in reasonable time. It was hot, well presented and great portions (recommend the piri piri chicken!). Excellent choice of beers and other drinks. We will definitely go there again if in the area.
Really friendly staff and a lovely cosy pub. Food is basic homemade pub grub, tasty, huge portions and good value for money. Good kids menu and a mini golf outside the pub. This bit is quite expensive though as you pay per person, I think it was £5 for adults £3 for children.
Great character pub. Very friendly bar staff and excellent quality food. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Nice selection of ales. An ideal choice for families and couples of all ages. Will definitely be visiting again.
Lovely pub we were staying at a local bed and breakfast. Great Sunday roast with lots of lovely vegetables. We had the smaller portions but there was plenty of food on the plate. Very welcoming and good selection of beers. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going again when in the area.
Lovely pub/restaurant. Food was really tasty and the portions were perfect👍Oh and ALL the staff were great.Welcoming of dogs so can pop in for a quick pint after taking your 4 legged friend for a walk
Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A decent selection of drinks, but San Miguel is not the best lager IMHO these days. Food is reasonably good and portions are generous, however I would welcome quality over quantity, for example using mozzarella on the pizza instead of cheddar or less chips but more alternatives. Dog friendly and accommodating with a roaring fire in winter. Beautiful wooden entrance and staircase add a historical wow on arrival.
The food and service was excellent the only issue was another customer with a very yappy dog made conversation difficult
Sadly this review is not a great one but I like to be honest. Ill start with the good points its a beautiful cosy bar restaurant with good old character, it has good seating areas inside and out is family friendly and dog friendly. The bad points for me was the customer service seemed inpatient and not so friendly but the worst was the food I couldnt taste the beef roast dinner only salt I could taste and it was a very cold meal for me and my daughter so it seemed a waste of money.Ill go again for drinks and a game of crazy golf only because I like the charm of the building nothing more.
First time being able to sit outside to have a drink this year and it was lovely!! Very peaceful and welcoming! The bar lady was lovely bringing out a couple of treats for our very excited little boy! Will definitely call again, could have sat outside all day :)
Lovely traditional pub, beautiful food with lots of choices for veggies too. Very dog friendly with water bowls and biscuits for the furry family and lovely service.
Staff great , doing theyre best in difficult times. Well spaced out area and booths for keeping folks safe , Food ok decent menu at a good price
Good check-in take name and number. One way system entering and exit. Quite untidy outside needs some tlc. Polite staff, food was nice. Preferred ordering is barcode at table but they will order inside as a last resort. My opinion of ordering at table should stay its a great idea and after covid restrictions I hope bars/restaurants keep it.
Really friendly staff, which is nice as they were all quite young and working on Boxing Day.. Food was much better than I expected seeing some of the recent reviews. Really nice feel to the place. Could maybe do with giving the walls a clean in the dining room part but other than that, its not major. Really lovely period features. Came to £68.80 for a starter, 3 more expensive mains, 2 puddings, medium wine, 2 teas and a hot chocolate with Baileys in. Struggle to move the chairs on the carpet so you end up nearly tipping backwards or stumbling when youve started to stand up.. not great for the elderly.. Managed to book this the day before Xmas eve which was lucky as very last minute and every table was reserved when we got in there
Food is good but a bit expensive and not not much choice. staff are friendly and keen to help, clean in and out the pub, though the glass barriers surrounding the pub look like they havent been cleaned in years. If you know, then you know. Overall a decent pub, one point Ill make is, if your applying for a job here, be mindful that these own ninos and a restaurant at the zoo and will expect you to work trial shifts at all 3 businesses before they decide whether to employ you. which i think is ridiculous.
Great helpful staff who are there to make your experience the best it can be. Good quality food and nice beer!!! The place is beautiful and set on the coast road so there is views of green Wales behind you and the sea in front! A genuinely lovely place.
