Revolution Skatepark - Skate park in Broadstairs, United Kingdom
Great venue for kids into bmx and skateboarding etc. 2 hours for £9 is a bargain. Indoors so ideal in any weather. Highly recommended!
Really good skate park, we’ll laid out, wasn’t too busy on a Thursday, nice, clean, friendly place, good shop attached to it, prices are high for refreshments, they don’t serve beer 😱 which F51 does so that’s my preferred, but overall it’s a great place to throw the kids in for a few hours.
Brilliant place. Brilliant staff
A sticker put up outside stating “no chavs allowed” ruined it
We travel up to Revolution 3 or 4 times a year from Sussex. Always worth the trip. Great skatepark with areas for all abilities and always positive staff and a positive vibe. Love it here
One of our boys just loves it here.In fact so much he would probably live there. The staff are so welcoming and Friendly. Always looking out for the customers and offering friendly advice. Our boy has some issues, but always feels comfortable and relaxed when here at Revelations.
Great place to start your climbing adventure. Instructors are very supportive. As adult l would suggest going in the evenings to avoid kiddie bday parties crowds, but at the same time venue is very well organized and never packs too many people in a room and kids are supervised.
Great place, not too pricey. Decent amount of parking. The new flow room is really good, very beginner friendly and a big improvement over the old bowl room in my opinion, a lot more things to hit than before.

This is the best beginners skate park ever!😍😍
My boys love it.... Great staff good shop
Brilliant for children who want to skateboard and scoot. And decent coffee for adults.
Lovely staff. My girl is beginner and a lovely staff named Ben spend 5 minutes with my girl and she can skate by herself now.
My kids rock climb and skate at revolution, good prices, very friendly and professional staff, seem to love what they do,would highly recommend.
I had given the park a called as there was an Red Alert issued from Met office for storm Eunice hitting the SE England. I had every intention of going however due to safety pro cautious we thought it would be good to change for another day as we live 45 minutes away and didn’t feel comfortable driving that far during strong winds. The man I spoke to on the phone was unhelpful, unapologetic, or sympathetic to our concerns his only issue was not being able to resell the time slot because I didn’t give them 48hrs notice however prior to that the Met office didn’t issue the red warning until the day, so I couldn’t call until the day, I called as early as I could first thing. Granted I only gave them 4hrs notice. As a business owner myself sometimes you need to think about the bigger picture. What they have lost is not only a booking for the day but a customer for life.
Booked this place a week ago called first thing this morning to rearrange due to red storm warning, the guy simply said no cancellations only 48hrs in advance tried to explain that we didn’t realise it would be this bad and the other parents aren’t comfortable with travelling in these high winds he said there’s no refund even though we were happy to just move the date. No willing to be flexible under the circumstances lost all the money. A bit disappointed but what can you do, as a business owner myself I know it’s frustrating for people to cancel but under the circumstances I would have honoured the request.
This is one of the best indoor skateparks we have visited. We were greeted by warm, courteous staff and went on to have an incredible session at Revolution. The mini ramp room is simply phenomenal. The ramps increase in size allowing skaters to try out and perfect new tricks and skills on smaller transitions before upscaling. It’s a transition skaters dream. The street section is similarly diverse with obstacles and ramps of all sizes. There’s something for everyone including two bowls. We travelled three hours to skate this park and I can honestly say it was well worth the effort. After the sad loss of Rush in Brimscombe we felt bereft of a poor weather / indoor skate park. Revolution not only goes someway to filling that void, it provides new challenges in a great environment. From beginners to serious shredders, this place is a must. 10/10
Grandsons loved it!!
Great place to go, reasonably priced and friendly staff
We have been attending revolution skatepark for just over 3 months with our 5 year old son. He has gone from not being able to stand on a board too dropping in on the 2,3 and 4ft ramps. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. From the owners and every single member of staff. Would reccomend this park to anyone! Lessons are well and truely worth their money. Our son has a serious bromance with one of the instructors Sam, he wouldnt be half the skater without the dedication from him. 100 percent attend this park if you want to see your children have a great time in a safe and controlled environment! 5**
By far the best skatepark in Kent. Awesome staff who cant do enough to help and are always friendly. The ramps are in a good condition and there is a great range for all ages and abilities. Can be quite busy with little kids early in the day but the later sessions are good for those that find youngsters get in the way too much. Well worth coming for a visit. The climbing centre is worth a visit too.
Rude rude staff, overpriced your better off going to the skatepark by the station. If i could give them no stares I would
Very good not too crowded. Grandson loved it.
I love it here, the park is great for all levels and the staff are awesome!
Brilliant experience at Revolution indoor skate and scooter park. The guys there are incredibly talented in fixing scooters too and helped us build our sons scooter from scratch as we literally popped in with what seemed like a million bits in a box anppd walked out with a beautiful ready to use scooter for my sons birthday... he loved it by the way- thanks guys! Could not have done it without your expertise...no really!
Took my child as the website said you could roller skate there but its more set up for scooters & skateboards. There are no staff marshalling like you get at trampoline parks so the kids are left to do as they please. Unfortunately my child didnt enjoy it as she felt intimated by all the scooters/skateboard users
Great skatepark, very helpful staff and a well stocked shop with everything I could ask for.
Brilliant skate and climbing facility. Excellent staff. A Thanet treasure.
Brilliant park, good value and amazing staff. Been coming to this park for years and I still love it.
Awesome place for the kids to just go wild for a couple of hours. Very well priced. Great staff and good vibe
Great skatepark! Has ramps for all different levels of riders
Although the staff were wonderful and attentive, the quality of the climbing centre is dire in comparison to other climbing centres in the area. People have been allowed to climb without appropriate shoes and without any in person supervising, as a result children have been found going out of the recommended lines and hang off climbing ropes. Also it looks like half the routes havent been changed recently. Its something to consider.
Very unreasonable when we had a £50 voucher a few days out of date! I appreciate it was our mistake having not realised the expiry date but would have been reasonable to let us redeem it.
Great place for a good skate. All the staff are top lads and a friendly bunch. Definitely recommend it for beginners and pros.
This is a top notch skate park the guys that run it are always coming out to check the condition of the ramps and all maintenance is kept up-to-date, the park is very versatile with 3 different sectors good for blades, skates, scooters, boards and BMX . Very warm and welcoming, the guys are very friendly and willing to help out where they can no prejudiced for the older blader aka me 😂One down side I wish there was a permanent fixture for a foam pit, this is my local and Ive been going once a week now for 2 months and Im still finding new spots and obstacles to learn new lines off
Kids love it. Staff are always happy and friendly, not too bad on the eye either lol Cheap and cheerful food. Never had a reason to complain.
We have visited twice now for skateboard lessons. The first lesson was with instructor Dan and he showed us ( 2 beginner adults the basics of skateboarding and dropping in. The second time we took our 11 year old for a lesson but had instructor Sam this time. Both times, we absolutely had the best day and even though its a big journey for us, as soon as we leave, we all want to come back ! This place is heaven for skaters, with every type of ramp and fun thing you could imagine. The instructors are amazing, they push you to do things you dont think youre capable of and they boost your confidence so much. We all learnt to drop in and were so chuffed. Its obviously a huge love and passion for everyone who works here and it shows in their great attitudes and the vibe there. Our son isnt always the best at talking to new people but he was made to feel so comfortable and he struck up a great rapport with Sam. Our favourite place and anyone thinking of going , should make their way there now ! Definitely recommend the lessons and the skate shop is brilliant too !
Amazing place to go and skate with lots of options from very beginner to advanced. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful if you are learning a new trick and will help you in every way they can.
Brilliant place to skate and scoot. Staff are exceptional and couldnt be more helpful. All abilities are welcome and everyone helps and looks out for each other. Cant recommend enough.
learning to skate is pretty scary as a girl, especially if you’re an anxious one! parks in towns seem intimidating and it’s hard to find where to start. however, revolutions is a completely different experience. everyone is so friendly and understanding, and the staff take their time to pay attention to everyone. sam watling coached me on my first lesson and i felt like i really achieved a lot in a short amount of time. it’s great for families but also great for individuals of any age. couldn’t recommend it enough!
What a great place, great atmosphere and great staff!! Our younger son had his 7th birthday here on Saturday with a mixed group of boys and girls with mixed scooting ability. It was such great fun, so positive and a really special party. Thank you Dan for climbing and Dan for scooting. Elder son now wants skateboard lessons! A great outcome.
Rad indoor Park, 1st time here an I cant believe its so large, its like the tardis inside. Well worth a visit so much to roll round B-)
Not bad prices, good couple of hours fun for the kids. Initial queuing time could have been quicker but helpful staff and plenty of equipment.
My son had a great first experience here and Im sure we will be coming again, bought him a helmet and has gained confidence in just one visit. May even treat myself to some skates on our next visit as its not just kids who can have fun!
My four year old hasbeen doing skateboard and scooter lessons here continuously for a year (with a few climbing lessons tooand honestly I cant say enough good things about the place. The staff are amazing and really try to get to know children while teaching them, theyre very honest and helpful too, even if it means you wont buy the item you enquired about. Weve also been to childrens parties here and the children were all made to feel special and had an amazing time.
It is all good but there should be more bmx sessions and an earlier brake less session because I ride brake less but I have to put on my back brake cause I cant go on the 6-8 session but very good
Staff are friendly & helpful. Good value for money whether it be for the skate/scooters or the climbing wall
I hate writing reviews but my 8 year old girl just had her birthday treat with 17 of her friends and Im so pleased Im leaving one.Staff actually seemed liked they quiet enjoy working there. We hired the VIP room and set out all the party food on the table. .Meanwhile the kids were being taught to abseil down the climbing wall. They then went on to have fun looking party games in the extensive skate park. There are viewing windows from the rooms above where we played free pool and relaxed while our kids had a ball. They were very good with the girls.I will add that because of roadworks and a road closure on the day we were late. They dealt with it very generously! Thanks very much people! Had lots of feedback from parents saying kids had great time. Phew!
Review written as a spectating (skateboardparent, having visited several times. The place is easy to find and parking isnt too bad, but the car park is quite small and can get full quite quickly, especially as other units share the parking area. The shop seems to have a comprehensive range of stock, and the prices arent hugely expensive. The park itself is average in size and offers a reasonable range of terrain. There is a viewing gallery and simple cafe which is useful for parents.
Kids love this place. You can hire everything you need and if needed book tuition. Also they do kids parties.Well laid out, friendly staff, food available and parking outside.Sessions run for 2 hours, you can find start times on their website.
