Really disappointed with the service here, if could review a 0 i would. Went away for my partners birthday and decided to eat here. Took ages for anyone to seat us. No one took our order till we flagged someone down. We ordered three tapas and two mains. Took an hour to come out and was freezing cold and the starter and mains came out together. Sent them back and mains came out again and bread was rock solid and was dust. No one apologised once. Asked for a manager as it wasnt good enough. Didnt eat there and the manager was not apologetic. Do not recommend eating there

We were a group of 4. Second attempt at dinning here before going to the theatre.First attempt the music was so load we left before even shown to our table.Second attempt we were shown our table and given menus. The waitresses ask if we were going to the theatre, which we replied yes to. The waitress took our order for drink, happy hour. When the waitress came to take our food order she told us they could not serve us any main courses!!!!!! When asked could they not do the food we had chosen, she said they could!!!!!Nearly an hour later I went looking for the waitress, eventually finding her, and asked how much longer for our food order. She went off and came back a few minutes later. Saying it would be another 15 minutes. Then said “to be absolutely honest with you, with the chef I have on tonight it will be at least another 20 minutes or more”.!!!!We could not wait that long and eat, without missing the theatre. The waitress offered to reduce our drinks bill, which she did, but I later realised that she had charged us full price and not the Happy Hour price. There were no other dinners.On both occasions we pre booked.None of our group had ever walked out of a restaurant without getting our food.I have given one star, only because I had to enter one, to be able to comment.

We had visited for a birthday and had read really good things about Revolucion de Cuba. Unfortunately we had a really poor experience on the night. Despite pre-booking a table for the night and putting down a deposit, it took 15 minutes to prepare our table and seat us, 2 hours to serve our food (which was mostly coldand only 3 drink orders were taken all evening over 4 hours.Now I want to make it clear that the staff were extremely busy and polite, and I dont fault them for this at all - there were clearly too few staff working that night.The manager has refunded us for all food and drinks, and stated that on the night a lot of staff had called in sick. While I can appreciate this, if we had known that staffing may be an issue to the quality of our evening and had the option for a deposit refund and cancellation before we had turned up, we would have taken that and done something else with our evening.I hope for others sake that this was a one off and that an average evening staffing isnt an issue, but based on our experience this is what we had to rate it.Some positives: The drinks were nice, and the live music was good.

Horrible service. The two people at the door wouldnt let us in claiming we couldnt get in because of the concert going on inside.They let 3 men in and not us.We had family members waiting for us inside, my uncle came out to ask if we could go in and they said no and my uncle told them why they had let other people in, to which the security person replied that they were with a group, we were with a group and my aunt and uncle were inside and they still wouldnt let us in.The dance floor was empty and the place was not so full.In the end we left and my uncles stayed inside.Shame they have such arrogant and unprofessional staff, it was clear they didnt want to let us in because they didnt want to.

Short of staff, 30mins waiting to buy a drink, finally you get your drink and your glass dirty.Security not asking ID if you are a girl only guys. Such a disappointment….

Jo, our waitress was great and very helpful. We shared tapas and drinks. Very delicious.

I came here for dinner and there was basically no food available from the menu. They made us wait 30 mins to let us know the kitchen was empty. Besides that the waitress was extremely rude to us with an unacceptable attitude towards us.Will not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff were laid back and extremely pleasant and the ambience was good. Cocktails, well they were cheap, it was happy hour, and our mojitos were very well made. Topping it off was the food, the tapas was just divine and wed stumbled into two for the price of one, how good was that? Brilliant, loved it! Dont know why the place has so few people in, I thoroughly recommend it.

Probably the worst experience Ive ever had eating out. So many things went wrong.Group of 7 people. Had multiple separate problems.1. Asked for starters to come with the mains and they didn’t.Asked for starters to come out with the mains since some people wanted something very small as the main meal. They didnt, they came out first with no one else able to eat for ages.2. We had no cutlery so we couldn’t eat some of the starters for 20 minutes and they went cold.We got no cutlery or napkins for the starters at all. One of them was prawns with sauce so we couldnt eat them at all. For 20 minutes no waiter came over even though we were trying to call them. The starters went cold and we didnt get our mains either.3. Waitress, then manager made excuses instead of just apologising.We went up to a waiter to inform them of this. Manager came over and told us that tapas always come earlier. Did not apologise. Just said thats how it works.If thats the case then when we asked the waitress to bring out the tapas with the mains she shouldnt have agreed. She should have said that they cant do that. She was also saying things like the tapas take shorter time to prepare so they come out faster. Thats nonsense because in every other restaurant if you order a burger and a rice dish they both come out at the same time. They are timed so that the people eating can eat together. Again, no apology, just excuses.4. One of the mains came out wrong.Eventually the mains came. When the mains came, one of the burgers came out wrong and one of the mains didnt come at all.We informed the waitress and she took back the burger to fix it.A few minutes later she came back and informed us the burger and the missing main would be out in "2 minutes". The burger came about 5-10 minutes later.5. One of the mains NEVER came even after asking about it and being told it would be “2 more minutes”.One main never came. About 10 minutes later we cancelled the other main out of frustration since everyone else was finished eating by that point and we were going to leave. One person ended up not eating as a result.As a final thing because why not, the payment machine had problems too. The card payment receipt didnt print and there were some connection issues.Overall: The experience was horrible, multiple things went wrong and I wouldnt go back.Pros: the food that we were able to eat hot was good and we got a discount for the bad service.

Very disappointed with the experience many drinks out of stock food was ok but the order was not all there probably wouldnt visit again

First, the good things: the bar is very nicely decorated, the cocktails are interesting and the live band was great. Though one of the cocktails was out of stock, if you come for drinks I cant fault much.What dragged the score down so massively was how unorganised the place is. No one came to take our order for food, even after going up to the bar and asking for a server they didnt seem to know what to do or what was going on. It took a very long time and some waving down to get a server to our table (they werent that busy). When they took our order, they then took 10 minutes to tell us that half our orders (enchiladaswerent available. At this point we gave up and went elsewhere to eat, because it was getting late and a bit ridiculous.

I wish I would not even give a star. What a disappointment! We went on Sunday and we wanted to grab a brunch/lunch. We usually dont go into places that have no people inside but we said lets give it a go! We were sat down, someone came to take the order, told us we dont have this this and this, exactly the main dishes on the menu. Ok, we try to figure something out and thing about something else. We place the order and after 2 minutes another waiter comes and says , oh sorry we dont have this things that we crossed off, nearly the whole menu! What a joke , we had our overpriced drinks and left ! Would not return to eat there, maybe boogie 😆

Staff descriminate against people with disabilities with false advertising claiming it is accessible and a casual venue but was in fact not true. Being the only location in the area that enforced some kind of arbitrary dress code. Without any kind of consideration for individual circumstances.Went so far as to claim (wearing comfortable footwear needed due to mobilitythat no other venues would allow me entry. Which was a lie. Claimed this was a management policy and that one of the door staff was the manager.This was a blot on an otherwise brilliant night out in CMK.So if planning a night out in CMK definitely advise you avoid this venue lest you too be caught out by their arbitrary policies.

My friend held her wedding reception here on the 18th of June and honestly could not rate them higher ❤The team ensured that the day ran smoothly and went out of their way to make the day as special as it was.The whole team went above and beyond, but a special thank you to the amazing Misan ❤I really cant thank you enough for everything, we completely trusted you and had no need to worry throughout the whole process.Thank you all so much again, BIG LOVE! ❤❤❤

Went for bottomless brunch for my 40th birthday and the whole party were very disappointed. The atmosphere was very poor (the music came on about 20 minutes before we left). The food was lovely, however the drinks were definitely not bottomless!! We waited for about 20 minutes a time for a drink! We didn’t even get our last drink as it took that long we had to leave as we had a booking elsewhere! All in all we had 3 drinks each in the 1.5 hours we were there. Very disappointed and would not recommend!!

I attended a function today the team are awesome, special shout out the the fantastic lady who made me the best cappuccino ever.

Been looking forward to visiting Revolución de Cuba, never made it to the one in my home town, so while visiting Milton Keynes took the opportunity. Checked the reviews on google and all is good. Unfortunately for some strange reason they dont serve food at 7pm on a Monday or Tuesday. Wasted trip and also explains why the place was completely empty. Thought the server was having a laugh at first.

The food was delicious as usual and it is a fun atmosphere in Milton Keynes Revs de Cuba. The live music was lovely on Friday night but we were sat right by the band and speakers so it was very loud and impossible to talk. We were also cramped in the corner right next to another couple so I do think the tables in Revs could be a little further apart just to give you a bit more personal space. We were served by the lovely Amreeta who is a fantastic host and served us the last time. Amreeta ensured we had lots of fun and makes great cocktail recommendations based on your tastes. She is always smiling, chatty and professional. :)

Walked past the place so many times and finally tried it. I am glad I did. Went for a lunch with a friend. We ordered variety of tapas dishes (vegetarianwhich were 3 for £15. All of them were quite nice and tasty. Good selection of drinks too. Sadly, I had to drink the nice alcohol free beer as I was driving but I am certainly planing to come back.

Wow! Where do I start. We went here for bottomless brunch on the 23rd. We were hosted by Amreeta, and she was great! Literally, she ran us through the rules and kept them drinks coming. Misan behind the bar was also a staff member that made us feel comfortable, she was happy to help and even have a little chat with us (even though the drinks kicked in! They were so friendly, funny and a pleasure. The food, the FOOD, I ate the breakfast burrito, which I highly recommend. Compliments to the chef! Best brunch Ive even eaten, the cocktails were top notch, definitely means well come back again 🙂P.S Amreeta your eyes are amazing!Thanks for the great service guys 🥳

Went there for food and cocktails. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were nice. I liked the vibe of the place. I felt it was a nice day out and reasonably priced

Let me set the scene... Its 6:30pm on a Wednesday.Youve just played mini-golf next door and youre really wanting a cubano sandwich.You know from having been here before the food is nice enough, but the service leaves a lot to be desired... You can expect to be ignored a large amount but hey youre not in rush but last time they didnt have the food you wanted (all sold out of cubano sandwichso you think lets try again...You probably think Im about to tell you they were out of stock... But no... I dont know if it was in stock or not because I went in stood at the greeting desk and was ignored for 5 minutes straight, and I mean my existence was not acknowledged at all despite the same server walking past a solid 4-5 times.Anyway I think giving above a 1 star in a place you get ignored is nothing short of criminal so 1 star is where is find ourselves.

Great staff and so much fun even if youre a newbie with dancing which I am. I thought going in there would be really intimidating but it was really welcoming!

went to salsa at revs De cuba on 16th March. at 10.15 pm the bar was closed with still a full venue. staff said this is down to not having staff to close for the night? as the stand in manager had worked a 14 hour shift. Wednesday is there busiest weeknight and they treat the regular salsa customers like this?

Went last night specifically for Tapas for my partners birthday meal. They took our drink order and only when we went to order food were told that there was not much available - specifically a few of the items we wanted. We chose items we were told were available to get to their recommended 6 dishes for 2 people. After a while we were then told that two of the items actually were not available. We were also not told when we ordered our cocktails that they were two for one! As there was nothing else from the Tapas we wanted I chose a main meal and my partner said he would have the items we had already ordered as he didnt fancy anything off the main menu. We asked that the tapas come with the main meal and were told that would happen. We were, within 1 minute, then told the Tapas was ready and I said that would mean we would be eating separately and it was not really acceptable. They said they would ask the kitchen to recook the Tapas and serve together. When the food arrived the Tapas was cold and had obviously just been sitting waiting for the main meal to be cooked.

Great meal on Sunday!2-4-1 on cocktails and tapas all day! Such a good deal and the quality is fantastic. Ioannis was a great host, very friendly and made a top notch Caiprinha.Been coming here for years and love it… no idea why it isn’t busier as a restaurant. Definitely check it out for more than a drink on Fridays & Saturdays

If you are looking for a Latino party forget about this place. Been there on a Friday and Saturday night music they play is radio songs, and music from the 80s like ABBA. What happened to the live music, and Latino???? So disappointed, waste of time 😥No cloack room to leave your coats.Doormen are good I must say that they really look out for you. Will never go there again and I will not recommend it to anyone. Sorry guys

Only had drinks after work hence the rating, venue was nice and whilst there was background music was able to talk.Salsa started as were leaving and the vibe started to pick up.

We booked and came on early Thursday evening and it was fairly busy. The Mojito was really great, best in MK and very cheap as it was 2-4-1 before 7pm- whats not to like ! Unfortunately, the kitchen was having some kinda melt down and after arriving 1hr 15mins earlier, no sign of our tapas starters. We and other tables complained and not too long afterwards, dishes started rolling out. The tapas were lovely and almost worth such a long wait. Mains were a little wait but not too bad. The paella was massive and full of meat, very delicious and a good price. Sadly the vegan enchilada was very disappointing and filled with totally different veg in it than specified. I was offered a complete remake but opted for 20% off so we could eat together. The staff were very friendly and apologetic. We decided the way to go next time is have 9 tapas to share instead as there was lots of choice. We will be back !

Great Food, great Cocktails and wonderful service, we were served bt Amreeka who really was a joy, very happy and delighted to help in any way she could. we had 6 tapas dishes between the two of us and couldnt quite finish it all so £30 more than fed two people, add cocktails, coffees and a little later some choros for the two of us to share ended up costing just £52, not a bad amount to pay whilst killing 2 and a half hours whilst my daughter was at the theatre.

The strawberry daiquiris are insanely good but it was pretty much empty with bad music playing. Perhaps I’m not the target audience? Other than that, the bar staff were really lovely :)

Poor service, over 40 minutes to receive our tapas order. No rose wine available apart from basty American zinfadel. Food, when received, was no better than average. Never received the menu from the waitress for dessert and they had the cheek to add a service charge to the bill. Seriously would not recommend.

Friendly smile from meet and great as I entered. Bar staff gave me time to peruse the extensive cocktail list rather than rush me. It was very quiet but nice music playing to chill out to. I usually go for beer/lager but was attracted to the cocktails. Have eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed it but just a catch up visit today.

We were a party of 14 food was good 👍 😋 we had plenty to drink 🍸 and the atmosphere was great friendly 😀 it was a firms Christmas party and plenty of music 🎶 and dancing 💃 😀 well worth a visit.

Firstly the food is very nice for a great price, the atmosphere good and the staff are helpful. Unfortunately they do seem to be dealing with some staff shortages, with barely 50% of tables filled, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes to be asked for our drinks order and then it was 55 min after that before our food arrived. I hope this issue is resolved soon, so we can return in the future.

Lovely large space in the theatre district of Milton Keynes, lovely cocktails and reasonably priced. Tapas/Starters are gorgeous with 3 for £14 or you can purchase individually. I had the calamari and the jerk fried chicken wings which is boneless for those who mind bones.Main was beef ropa vieja which if I am being honest needed more flavour and rice was too soft for me personally but overall a great place to hang out, get some drinks and probably go crazy ordering all the tapas.

A great atmosphere with an Authentic Live Cuban band.The Cuban cuisine was divine and is a fusion of Spanish, African, Caribbean & Latin foodThe Variety of Cuban cocktails Included Daiquiris, Mojitos, Cuba Libre, Piña Colada, Cubanito, El Presidente, The Saoco & Cuban Ginger.Our staff & colleagues leaving party was a huge success & great fun was had by all.

Our experience was fantastic. We came on a Sunday night so there wasnt many tables but the atmosphere was great so you wouldnt of noticed. Our waiter was great, he was polite, friendly and very fun, wed catch him singer and dancing around the restaurant. You could see he enjoys his job. Something you dont see much in this industry anymore. Id give the restaurant 5 out of 5 just on him alone (I believe his name was janis, sorry if its spelt wrong). The Food was amazing. Evening with a shortage of menu there was loads of selection to pick from and everything was so tasty so much so we got another 2 dishes after already having 6. Great food and drink, great service. Id give you 10 stars 🌟 if I could. Were from London so we dont come up here often but if we travel to MK again we will definitely be coming back.

I went to this place with some friends and we absolutely loved everything about this place from the atmosphere to the food, especially the cajun mushroom tapas. Would definitely come back.Shout out to our waiter Ioannis who did an amazing job.

The food in this place is fantastic. Good cocktails as well. It was short staffed when we went, but our server, Ioannis, went the extra mile to keep the drinks and tapas flowing so we werent waiting very long given the circumstances. I honestly didnt know much of what to expect from Cuban food before coming here, but it was all delicious. Will definitely come here again soon.

Me and my husband went here for dinner, the place was extremely quiet with absolutely no atmosphere what so ever. Full of middle-aged people. The music selection was terrible. My husband is Latin and he thought this place and the music was a joke. Most of the Waiters were moody. Drinks took absolutely ages to arrive. Food made me ill, I was up most of the night. We were told there would be 2 for 1 cocktails however we did not get this. Definitely would not come back here again which is sad as we were looking for a new restaurant to dine at more now that lockdown is easing.

The app was difficult to use at times for ordering. However staff were happy to help after the fact. The food was deliciously filling - good veggie options. Would definitely recommend the mocktails.

Excellent place with beautiful decorations; the fans are really fancy. First time trying Cuban cuisine and I went for a Beef Ropa Vieja. This was their chef’s special, a slow-cooked shredded beef with charred onions. The beef tasted good, unfortunately the charred onions were toi oily, so I couldn’t eat much of it. Good experience with the staff !

Very lively, enjoyed an exceptional Spicy Burger with Cuban spicy cheese fries and 2 for 1 Cocktails. Live 3 piece band playing whilst we were there. Definitely worth a visit

This is a great large bar. Food menu is good with a large range of tapas dishes at decent prices. Theres an extensive drinks collection with a choice of cocktails that would keep anyone happy. Their 2-4-1 offer is even valid on a Saturday evening until 7pm which makes for good value. The bar staff are fast and friendly. Theres plenty of seating as well as standing space and the live Cuban band made for a wonderful atmosphere. Toilets are upstairs and both modern and clean. I always have a really good evening here and its one of my favorite places in the city.

Fantastic bar which also has a really good atmosphere. Cocktails are amazing! One of the best places to go in MK!Food is also really good but can take a while to turn up.
