Restorant 'Joni ' Vlore in Vlore

Unsatisfied with the food and service. "Mixed grill" consisted of literally 3 shrimps, 5 pieces of calamari, and inedible piece of crab. Main course was served before we finished earlier meal. Fish soup and mussels were mediocre. Quality definitely not corresponing with relatively high prices.

Ok seafood. Tuna was good. Normal service.

We had crudo as a started and pacceri pescatrice for main. Both were good ( I remembered their pacceri from last year and wanted to go back this year just for them). Service is good as well, nothing to complain about

After walking around and checking multiple place’s menu and prices, we opted for Joni.-Food was good, we had fish. The grilled one was on point, while the fried a bit less. Vegetables and sides were good as well.-Staff is really gentle.-Price wise, Joni is on the average of Vlöre (which is higher than the rest of Albania).

The staff is kind and professional, the restaurant looks amazing. Food is nice, we got vegetables, green salad and paccheri.

You’re looking for a good place for your dinner. Stop scrolling and go there to have your time. In my journey in Albania i have tried many places but no one as high qualitative as this one. Perfect service and so delicious food. Thank me later.

Food was great, service are ok - smile a little bit more! Prices were same as in other places. Good to have dinner there, ambience was okay, but all in all nothing extraordinairy or special, as many places in Vlore.

10/10, Going to this restaurant I was a bit sceptical because of the reviews and the overall service in Vlora( in other places), but after tasting all the dishes I ordered, I was very impressed. Good portion, fresh sea food, amazing taste! The cold sea salad - best I have had! The soufflé 😍 The service was very good and the staff polite. I will come here again for sure! And I will definitely recommend this to anyone who comes to Vlora!

Horrible fish balls. It tasted nothing like what a fish ball should taste. Threw it out.

The fresh fish was amazing but the risotto rice was stale and dull. The linguini was ok as well

We waited for our order for more than 1 hour, even though we ordered simple grilled fish. During this time the waiter didnt come to say when our order will be ready. Food is good, 4 of 5. But Im my grilled tuna Ive got an empty shrimp head :)For the long waiting time and service overall is 3.5.

The place is nice, clean, but the service, portions and quality of meals are, in my opinion, inadequate for the price. In such an elegant restaurant, we didnt get any water to drink, and we didnt get wet wipes or lemon water to wash our hands after eating seafood. The seafood platter for two people was very small and very poor quality compared to other restaurants I have been to. We also ordered fish which was quite Ok. In this city, you can eat much better quality seafood much cheaper with better service.

We chose a varied fish dish and a greek saladSalad was goodFish was only squid and four scampis, three of them with only a head!We had to ask the waiter for new scampis.The personnel was friendly bit too busy.Things seemed to be not well organised

Absolutely amazing place - the food is to die for, superior quality! Fish is very fresh from the adriatic sea, immaculate taste! We asked the chef to surprise us with the order of the day, had a mixed seafood plate and seabream fish grilled with vegetables. Absolutely delicious! The service is outstanding - thank you, Meso, and all the staff for a warm and professional welcoming. Highly recommend this place. The location and view to the sea compliments all the aboce.

The place was nice, from the look of the fine quality, the service didnt make a good impression, it would let us find our chairs, cus the table didnt have enough sits. The warm appetisers were tasty and elegantly served. As main course we ordered 2 fish dishes and 3 different pasta dishes, the latter ones had the same sauce, and although they were different, they also had the same taste. Therefore, we were disappointed by their pasta dishes, ravioli with riccota and spinach, and shrimps, but a very liquidy tomato sauce (watered-down), that didnt adhere to the taste. So overall, nice place, but doesnt fulfil all standards.

Very good quality and portions, fast in serving first plates, antipastas and salads. Very good service too!

This restaurant came recommended, the server staff were friendly however the place does come across as a bit overpriced but reasonable for the ambience and atmosphere in the area (which is amazing). This comes across as a fine dining institution, however, there were instances where this was not observed for e.g. we had different wine glasses and water glasses in a party of 3 sharing the same drinks and our plates weren’t cleared prior to mains. Again, you on holiday, you should just enjoy it.

Service was good and fast. I had the shrimps in pink sauce which was nice. My husband got sea buss fish and again it was nice (a bit different from what we normally like but that might be because of the different cuisines). Also it is a bit pricey.

I had a bad experience in this so called sea food restaurant, we order mixed grilled sea food and lenguine sea food. The mixed grilled plate quantity was really small and over priced. This I could understand if the quality was to perfection, but unfortunately the sea food came dull and soaky and even you could see some parts were burnt. Not to mention the rudeness of the waiters.

Worst experience in vlore, the waiters are unpolite and food quantities are really small.The food was below average in terms of quality. The shrimp was over cooked and soaky. The octopus was burned while grilled. All in all, not only the waiters are arrogant and will treat you bad because you are a foreigner, but also the food was not a good experience.

I only tried their coffee and dessert. I didn’t like how the dessert was too sweet!

Nice restaurant on the sea front with excellent service. We had a plate of very tasty shrimps and sea bass. Not expensive, recommended.

We had excellent food and service here! Ordered salad, crudo seafood for starters (amazing and fresh!and mixed grilled seafood for main which was also excellent..! Service was polite and fast :will come back for sure.

Interior and service were quite good, so me and my friends expected something special about kitchen. Unfortunately, it wasnt good- mussels were tasty, but the main dishes- grilled tuna and linguini with seafoods werent tasty at all. To be fair the waiter was ready to bring another one dish, but I didnt want one more untasty tuna. So my mark is just 3 for mussels.

I wont come again. The grilled mix was burned, not grilled. Vegetables were also burned. The fish was tasteless and there were more vegetables than fish. For that money you pay for sea fruits its awful. One point for wine - it was good

Perfect location, very nice ambient, clean. We visited Joni .. they are 1st on TripAdviser and they advertising this. So we ordered 4 direrent dishes ... result : perfect shells, good pene, avarage litle dry chicken file and spageti with vongs not tasty at all, and they served 2 fishes and with 15 minutes delay other 2. Not number one.

We had a fabulous dining experience at Joni today, 5 stars for the attentive service, high quality food in good portion, the ambience, the music and its amazing seafront / palm trees avenue location.The waiter who served us spoke excellent english, he explained to us how the dishes were prepared and took really good care of our diet requirement (gluten free and starch free).The two of us had crudo gamberi, sea truffles (can be called sea figs or violets), sea urchins, grilled vegetables, white cheese, spinach, grilled sea bream and a super delicious anglerfish (peskatricewith grilled tomatoes and olives.Everything was top-notch!We are definitely coming back for more gourmet seafood and vegetables.Thank you for the great service.

I have lactose intolerance so I require food without milk and dairy. It was really difficult to find something I enjoy in the menu that did not have lactose in it, and I felt that the waiter pushed me to pick expensive dishes I did not want. We left to eat somewhere else.

Great food at decent prices

Food is good, place is nice, great choice for watching sunset. Prices are higher than other places, but for one time experience is ok for me.

Good cocktail, nicely decorated pub. Friendly staff, and good English, but their priorities are a bit off as they were setting up tables with 6 while no one was available to take our order.

Excellent. The fact that our appetizers arrived after main dish would be usually a huge fail - but the sheer deliciousness of all meals pardonned it. Not very expensive, actually quite cheap compared to its great quality.

Beautiful place, delicios food. All the ingredients have a perfect quality and are from Italy. Nice view of the sea. I recommend you to try the Joni salad, with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella filled with milk. It was sooo delicious. Try it. Also it is very cheap.
