Typical kopitiam famous for shredded chicken hor fun

We normally come here for Bfast especially the Kway Teow Soup and Char Kway Teow. The exterior are pretty run down and not too hygiene,inside sitting is better.The 粿条湯 is as good as one can get in PJ. The broth is clear and sweet, aromatic and delicious like chicken consomme. Shredded chicken still tender and tasty,not the pork slices though. Dry and tasteless. Fish balls are bounchy and nice. A very satisfying bowl of Kway Teow.The char kway Teow is tasty and flavourful,good Wok Hei and taste is in balance and nice.A good choice for Bfast is you are in the neighborhood.

Overall the food is good. The lobak and popiah is good. So as keoy teow soup(but the bihun sometimes a bit too soggy). The char keoy teow also is good.

Neighborhood kopitiam. Very nice kuey teow soup and prawn mee. Nasi lemak sold by Chinese lady is good too. Will be back for the char keow tuey next time. Food price is relatively cheap here, most of the stall sell RM 7 for the small portion. Coffee and tea is rather bland though. Parking is challenge too.

pj old town famous penang kuey teow soup...must try..prefer order big

The dish too simple and not cheap but the lady is very talkative and know how to recommend what you like to eat. The husband is quiet type and never even smile to the customers. Not cheap . The lady is friendly.

Kuey Teow Teng and Fried Kuey Teow are recommended here.

Only go for kuey teow soup when I visit this shop very good business but serving is fast one of the best in town for me many other stalls selling penang style food very hard to find a parking lot and very crowded not suggest to come on peak hours

Used to come here regularly for my weekly dose of either Koay Teow Soup or Loh See Fun Soup. Now its a fortnightly indulgence as I am living further away. Its still the best place in PJ for both dishes.

The roast chicken is huge . The kuew teow soup is the best .

The Duck & Chicken Rice for dinner has always been great. After all these years, the food is still great. Price increase a little but portion still reasonable. The uncle still going strong.

Kuey Teow Soup is good with generous portion of chicken, meat and fish balls

Went there for the famous KTT. The soup is very normal and frankly nothing super amazing. Compared to Ipoh KTS, its really day and night. For those in KV, and really not desperate enough to make the trip up north, this is an acceptable alternative. Parking is a challenge around this area.

The best Penang Koay Teow Th’ng outside the state of Penang. The stall has been around PJ old town for ages (easily 30+ yearsand has moved base from two different coffeeshops prior to the current location.The current coffeeshop doesn’t display any prominent signage, and you will have to be on the lookout to spot it lest you miss it.Previously operated by an elderly couple from Penang. Their youngest son have since taken over the business.Customers can also add on additional ingredients like chicken or pork meat, fish balls, chicken gizzards and liver when placing their orders. Noodles are served piping hot and garnished with fragrant “Bar Eu Phok” aka fried pork lards. My all time favourite for a decent bowl of Kuih Teow Thng in PJ. I should said it is the best by far in my food list. Has been following this stall for 30 years since the fathers time. Now the son takes over and is still as good..

Came to try the kuey teow soup. It is not too bad, something I used to have growing up as a kid in Penang. The prawn noodle is decent too, not those with thick brooth and strong prawn smell type. Had the economy rice, took 3 dishes, taste is not too bad, but the dishes and rice are cold, something unusual, nevertheless the place deserve a second visit. Rather clean and pleasant old school kopitiam.

Today dapao char kway teow here , first time but also last time to dapao his char kway teow.this is the first time I ever see a person(old uncle)who char the kway teow with a super stink face(脸臭到..), and the poor kway teow is like offend to him until he very roughly char the kway teow the whole time . If talk about cleaning of his place I would say dirty , and for the tasty of the kway teow I would say oily . You can try the first time but not recommended to try second time after you watch him live to char kway teow , good luck to whoever ppl that want to try it .

The char kuey teow is very good. Roasted duck (1/2- RM30and teochew braised duck (1/2 RM30taste fantastic. The 酸菜 is excellent, super flavourful my god~

Kuay Teow Teng is the star for me here. Seating is limited and drinks are expensive, but at least the seating area is sufficiently clean.

Their fish ball noodle and lobak stall is superb. Their economy rice is pricey. Not worth eating. The operator of this economy rice has changed. The guy selling here now us the one that used to well in Restaurant Seaview

Best Wonton Noodle dry or soup @ PJ Old Town. Very generous with CharSiu and Wonton. Drinks there below Kopi tiam standard and expensive. No sanitation on tables after cleaned.

Local hawker shop with plenty of stalls. Good for its keow teow thng soup noodle. Silky fish balls.

Char Koay Teow moved further down opposite DIY temporary for 1 year.

This corner coffee shop has a wide array of food. You will be spoilt for choices. We usually come here for two types of food - Hakka Lui Char and Koay Teow Soup. Both are really good. The Hakka Lui Char has more variety of vegetables compared to other places, and the basil soup is really refreshing. Pricing is reasonable. Place tends to get crowded during peak hours and weekends. Parking is available along the side roads.

Very nice kue tiao soup👍🏼and love their smooth chicken with that tasty salty soy sauce. And now with aircon!Some say their kue tiao soup is the best in town.. or even in the country. 🤤

Char koay teow veey nice, but will need to wait quite long coz the cook is a very very senior citizen. Salute his perserverance to prepare the char koay teow plate by plate.Teh ais is epic fail, avoid!!

This restoran full of people. There is a lot of stalls of local drlicacies - chicken rice, yong tau foo, fried kueh teow, kueh teow teng, mixed rice, pastries, etcThe fried kueh teow stall has the most people and finished by 12 noon. The kueh teow soup stall also frequent by the patrons. The soup is "ngam ngam taste with lots of delicious shreaded chicken slices, and fish balls.The yong tau foo stalls has lots of variety of vege, fu chok to choses from. The mixed rice stalls at the other end of the shop has plenty variety of dishes to chose from. The shop is a corner lot and clean.

Awesome Kueh Teow Thng. Just the right amount of sweetness from the broth. Almost always empty the contents of the bowl, broth and all.

Old skool kopitiam with several good food stalls here. Try the keoy teow hor fun soup, char koey teow, wonton mee, hakka lei cha, chu cheong fun.. all these gets my recommendation, tastes great. Really love the leicha, alot of people come take away. Many dishes available from the economy rice shop. Drinks are expensive here, a small cup tea RM2 and price always up and up...

Bad experience ever.. The dimsum not fresh at all, so though to order half boil egg to eat but in the end the egg not enough boil. Thinking to get back money but they dont allow,But is okay coz they say gonna pay us back a new set of half boil egg. In the end the egg yolk all over boiled cos they put more hot water to boil it =( Never get full in the morning due to the bad breakfast.

The best coffee shop in PJ Old Town with a variety of hawker food stalls. Very busy during bfast & lunch time. Theres Ipoh Sar Hor Fun, nasi lemak, won ton noodles, chee Cheong fun, chicken rice, pork noodles, Prawn Mee, CKT, economy rice, etc.Shut in the evenings except for the excellent teowchew braised duck & chicken rice stall. And, theres the old town famous char kuey teow stall open in the evenings too.Recommended.

Decent coffee shop in old Town. Most food is alright here but If you love love Hakka Lui Char, please try this place!!! Although its not the best Ive tried out there, but this is really good.

Everything here is pretty average but the highlights definitely reign supreme.For lunch hour, the kuey the soup is perhaps one of the best in Klang Valley. Great broth and fresh condiments gets much attention from hungry lunch goers.For dinner time the char kuey teow is tp notch however the wait is not for the impatient.

The best Kuey Teow Soup in Klang Valley. The taste is excellent. Service is fast because they have 6 person churning out over 500 bowls a day for a humble stall in a coffeeshop. Morning and lunch only. Must try. Not found anyone better than this yet. Be prepared for the congested road and parking is scarce. Come in simple clothing. Prepare to sweat.

Lots of good food. I usually go for the famous & authentic Penang Koay Teow Thng who has been selling there for decades. Delicious soup & bouncy fish balls. Serves with shredded poached chicken, sliced pork & leads.Other stuff available are Char Keow Teow, Lei Cha Rice, chicken rice, wantan mee, dim sum, popiah etc. Dining here feels like having breakfast in Penang.

Many options to choose from and it all taste good! Good spot for breakfast or lunch.
