Restaurante la Marea - Spanish restaurant in Arrecife, Spain
Omg the food was mouth watering. And the added view made this a memorable experience
Not the best dinner you will have in the area. Staff is very friendly and attentive, however food is average for Canarian/Spanish cuisine. Small portions (calamari-squids half portion starter were literally three of them but still pricey for the amount). Mains again were nothing special and small in portions. Millefueille pudding was a reinterpretation of what it should be. Bill was around €70 between two.
I really don’t know if we visited on a bad day, but we didn’t have a good experience. We waited over half an hour for our food order to be taken, at which point we gave up, paid for our drinks and left.
Service and food was great. We had seafood paella and it was delicious.
Good service, nice food.
Nice area
Super service.. could help enough nice beer & olives
Excellent more then 5 star
Amazing food and service! :)
An excellent meal looking out to sea. Perfect weather Perfect setting.
Great fish restaurant by the sea. Great meal, great service. I recommend 👍
Nice looking place but food is so so....
Wow. This place is amazing. The food was incredible and lovely views of the sea.
View: 5Taste: 3 (Paella was okay, In Orzolla it was much better)Squid lasagna was okayCrocettes were okayService: 2 (We had to wait long until we could order the food, the waiter was not the friendliest)I would recommend you to go to the Emmax. The taste is better and it is cheaper.
Lovely location along the promenade Playa Honda by the sea. Food and staff fantastic.
Good service. Great view. Nice food.
Lovely food and lovely staff
Super location on the avenida. Excellent staff.
Ill come back
Amazing spot just in front of the beach. Staff is extremely helpful and kind, suggesting fresh options. We are here sever times during our stay. Above everything else, they can prepare the whole menu gluten free (and also have gluten free beers). Very good and definitely to keep in mind if around here.
Food was delicious. Service excellent.
The table poorly set, without table cloth or closter, the bread was 1 euro per piece (is usually for freeand the food was awful. The fish were not properly cleaned (the entrails and scales were left there)- I could have accepted the head and fishbone that are normally served...not the entire fish uncleaned. The service wasnt bad, but the waiter - trying to be funny- was inappropriate. Were not satisfied.
Nice atmosphere
Super views and short hop to beach.
The fish soup was to die For ,service superb, what a setting
Fish is awesome and much better than other places in puerto del carmen touristic restaurants
Great food with amazing view and super friendly staff. The owner is super nice and the restaurant and toilets are very clean. I can highly recommend it
EPIC FAIL!!!! We have eaten here several times in the last few years and enjoyed good food and sea views. However, on this occasion, the food was terrible. Our Gazpacho starter was a glass of liquidised vegetables which was bitter and unpleasant because it was not blended smoothly. The main course was no better, a strange mix of over and undercooked rice in a pan which was supposed to be seafood paella but contained two mummified prawns and a few bits of squid. When we complained to the waiter that we hadnt eaten much as it was not good at all he shrugged and said it was the same as usual. Im sorry to say that was the last time I will ever eat there or recommend it. I dont mind adequate food if the staff are friendly but in this case the staff didnt care that we sent a 30 euro paella back mostly uneaten. Just because the restaurant reaps the benefits of a good location with high tourist numbers that is no excuse to become complacent and uncaring about your customers. So avoid unless you want to overpay for unsatisfactory food.
Very good restaurant. The tuna tartar amazing enouht for 2 to share and try it. Main course - fish - fresh and tasty.
Great food in a lovely place, very close to the sea. Fish, paella and Tuna tartar top!
