Good food, little expensive but great experience!

I made a reservation at Segundo Muelle because 1. We love Peruvian food and 2. The interwebs had nothing but good things to say about it.Honestly, it was probably the most "meh" meal that we had in Panama City. The Ceviche a los tres ajíes was quite good and honestly the highlight of the meal. The Tuna Tartare was ... odd. The tuna itself was very good and fresh but they topped it off with ranch dressing?For mains, we had Risotto con Lomo Saltado and the Spaghetti a la Huancaina con Lomo. The spaghetti sauce honestly tasted like someone took Kraft mac & cheese powder and made the sauce. It had the same color as well. Weve had huancaina sauce in many other places and this was definitely not it. The risotto was a bit of the same, it really felt like someone used Kraft cheese powder to cook both of these dishes. The meat also came out well done despite us asking for it medium rare.Service was fine. To be honest, it was the most lukewarm and do the bare minimum service we had received during our week in Panama City. Im not quite sure what all the hype is about because this was probably the weakest Peruvian food weve had.

Ceviche was fresh and delicious. There are several kinds to choose from. The service was quick and friendly. Parking is down the street, you will need to walk a bit.

We had 4 people in our party. 2 received their dishes a few minutes after we ordered the other 2 received them a good 20 mins later. My dish was tasty however it was cold in the middle like it was premade then microwaved. At these prices you would expect the dishes to be freshly made for each order.

This is the first Peruvian restaurant I ever tried and I regret not trying it earlier. The food was very delicious and the service was very courteous. It changed my impression that there’s no tasty quality food or good restaurant in Panama.

Excellent experience for some helpful service in recommending various dishes. Ceviche is a must and the tuna risotto. Each main dish around $20 and appetizers $10-15. Portions are shareable or take what you dont finish to go.

This popular place offers good food at reasonable prices. Ambiance is good for groups. I liked the fusion-style menu, and service was fast and courteous. The dessert options were less interesting. The cheesecake Id ordered was still partly frozen.

You might find it strange but Panama has really good Peruvian restaurants. This one in particular is one of the best. They have two locations but this one very close to Multicentro (which you must visitis the best. Peru for many reasons has produced excellent unique food. Try the diferent Ceviches which is raw fish cooked in lemon with incredible spices, cilantro being one very important one. But try it and you won’t regret it, all dishes are excellent!.

Over priced nothing apreciar I had the house ceviche that is just too creamy and lacks freshness and a marinara pasta with a no thrills sauce and chewy seafood accompanied by an ok glass of red and a no thrills pisco sour. The coffee was burnt

Very much recommended Peruvian food. Cebiches are the highlights but menu is extensive. I really like the fried fish and lomo salteado. Booking is advisable but not compulsory. This place is family friendly.

Great Peruvian food! This restaurant has been around for a few years and its very consistent in their quality. Its a no brainer.

We heard nothing but good things about the restaurant. The place looks great and the waiter was very attentive, but in general the food was ok. It was nothing special compared to other Peruvian restaurants in Panama and I would not recommend it. In all honesty the food was half assed, might have been the cook that night but it left that impression.

Its a bit pricey. The lighting and decor are nothing special. Service is good for Panamanian standards (that is low service level). Ceviche is a must try and main courses should be shares - its too much food for one person.

This place is excellent. I was there in Sept 13. Service was excellent. Food great!! I will be back. Mostly seafood.
