Restaurante Pueblito Viejo in Pasto

This is a really fun restaurant. The decor is definitely unique and literally there are random decorations everywhere. The food was really good, we both enjoyed our dishes and arepas. The service was also very welcoming and fast. We will definitely return with friends. If anyone is looking for some solid Colombian food, this is a good place in South Florida.

Definitely not authentic Colombian food , they charge for everything,food was not good , servers are rude and please be advised is valet parking only .Totally disappointed after a 50min drive

I definitely will not say any to complain about this place, it is fun, the food is good and the service is also great. However I have been here several times in years past and the show was much much longer than it is now. In fact the show listed less than 15 minutes. Shows are at 8 and at 10 and if you go early enough you have sat waiting for the show and you got all of 15 minutes worth and then you wait 2 hours more to get another 15 minutes worth. So if I can say anything go back to howvlong the shows were before, give the people back the reason for going there.

First, they have “valet parking only” but their concept is nonsense, they are basically charging $6 for keeping the car key because you need you park and get the car by yourself. Either remove the “valet parking only” or provide the valet parking service as it should be. Other than that, good restaurant service and beautiful and interesting decoration.

Had a good impression of this place before today.Found a very old burn piece of god knows what it was in the food, to make matters worst the waiter tried to excuse the fact that they dont clean their kitchen very well and tried to make it sound like the customer was wrong for complaining. I have read you are not require to use the valet but all the spots are with a cone so you cant self park, this is not the restaurant it use to be traditional it has lost its ways.

Place is Beautiful, our server was amazing .. but the prices are outrages. 4 dollar a can of coke, yes i understand prcies has gone up , but aint no way 4 dollar for a can of soda when you can get a 12 pack for 6 dollara RIP OFF..we order plato púEblito, they did not have the right size of (big)churasco so they gave us mini churasco, we said it was ok ,thiNKing they will adjust the price since they ran out ,and we got charge for a regular plate, worst part you can substitue or change anything on your orders. The food seem like it sits there and they reheat it especially the beans and the chicharon ..maybe becuase I came in late in the evening .. the price is outrageous! 5 stars to our waiter! Juan!

I wished I could give this place 5 stars the food was phenomenal however the service was wack they made us feel unwelcome and sat us in a cramped corner in the back behind the kitchen

Had a blast. The travadores i think its called were great. The food was delicious and we all ebjoyed the atmosphere. Parking is a nightmare but luckily we got in early so had no issues. Definitely recommend it.

I had a very nice experience. I plan to visit again! This place is perfect to come to dance and sing or enjoy its VARIED SHOWS, The man who sings like Mariachi is very good!

Went on Thursday night and I loved it. Live interactive music. Felt so good I thought it was Saturday. Quality food. Fast service. Awesome waiters. Price was OK. Very Colombian. Unique experience and decor. Wont dissapoint.

Food was delicious. Its a bit loud. Hard to talk unless you yell. This was mid-afternoon not even late. The disco lights are a bit annoying especially at 3pm. But again the food was amazing.

Magnolia was the best waiter ever. She was so attentive and funny. She truly was a great addition to the big birthday celebrating we had !!

Drinks and food are a bit overpriced. Also they charge $6.00 for parking even if the place is empty.

Fun anniversary dinner @pueblitoviejo. Good food and service, fun atmosphere with great music to go with the mood. Dance floor to help drop some calories from the meal and drinks.

I went for the first time because friends recommended it.but I was surprised and angry cause I singed and paid with my credit card a total of $55.08 includes a 20% tip of $10.20 and i check my credit card the next day and they had charged me $120.08 I reported it and think with a business of this size and speed of collecting should be careful. I recommend if you go there BE VERY CAUTIOUS! check your bill with what they bill the credit card

Great restaurant, food and ambiance. Not rating 5 stars because one of my guests was wearing a jersey and was turned away. Thankfully, we had an extra shirt in the car. Never knew their was a dress policy to go have lunch with your family.

Lovely set in the heart of south Miami.Delicious pork rinds and Colombian sausage. Humorists and singers add the cherry on top. Amazing!!

Had an awesome dinner here with my family. The ambiance and environment is great, so much fun!

The empanada de (supuestamentecarne was 99% mashed potato- it was disappointing.After over 10 years of living in the area, and not going to this place, I decided to give it another chance and ordered take out; it was a mistake- I was reminded why I dont even recommend it to others. The Colombian flavors are missing- all the meals were truly plain and bland.I dont usually add salt to my food, but I found myself doing so to get something out the flavors, especially of those beans that were half mashed, ugh.The carne asada was a skirt cut instead of flank 😕 , I guess it was still "asada", but skirt steak changes how it feels- a true, typical Colombian carne asada is a flank steak, NOT skirt steak- period!The picada was enough portions to serve at least 3, but it was quite literally a plate of mostly fried pork and yuca- all other meats were LACKING! It was again missing the true components of a traditional Colombian plate.I cant say Ill be back for another 10 years..again.

What a fun place! The decor is over the top with decorations and lights hanging from the cieling. The service is prompt, friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are outstanding. We had the house tequilas and a pina colada. For dinner it was the bandeja pueblito viejo, the picada pueblito viejo and the cerdo empanizado. We were too stuffed for dessert.

This place is just spectacular! Everything is great in this restaurant. The host was very nice and courteous, the entertainment is amazing, you have nice latin music in the background, then live artist performing different shows, and last but not least, the most important the food, is really good and prices are really reasonable, most items in the menu are well priced and delicious. The waiter was also great, nice, quick and welcoming. My only complain is the valet parking $6 which I think is expensive considering the size of the parking lot and the area. Other than that, i highly recommend it to everyone, a place for all ages with entertainment for adults and children. I loved this place!

Great place to come with friends and family, it’s always a fun time they play Spanish music and all the classics. They even have a dance floor and karaoke. Great places for pictures too.

Been years since Ive been to this place. The food is still great, happen to come at lunch time on Saturday and was able to enjoy the fish soup. But man, those freaking empanadas, so damn good. I usually pass on empanadas because Im always disappointed, too dry, too greasy, too something. But these were just right, they really nailed it. I was gonna go to the kitchen and bend the knee to the chef, but I didnt wanna embarrass the Mrs. with my antics. Why 4 stars and not 5? Because my kid is a super picky eater and they didnt want to cook me up some scrambled eggs and rice because it wasnt on the menu, its cool I see how it is lol. However, keep up the good work guys, you have done the empanada gods proud :)

This is by far the BEST authentic Colombian restaurant I’ve visited in Miami. The restaurants environment is very intimate and their decor is jaw dropping gorgeous. The food is fantastic. I am looking forward to visiting again and especially in my hometown Chicago!!! Pueblito Viejo will also capture your special visit with their own photographer!

Found the place weird at first but as the night progressed, was very impressed. Wished I understood Spanish cuz they had a little program where guys sang about the people in the restaurant. Food was a bit pricey but serving was huge. Steak was awesome. Would definitely being visitors there.

If youre a true Colombiano/a for sure youll be eating there. The place is amazing, decor is on point, waiters give great service. Drinks are delicious, food is even better, music is bomb. I went at 5 oclock I can imagine how it is at 9. 🇨🇴✊🏼❤

Pueblito Viejo in my opinion .... could improve.Food itself was under par... aside from the Sancocho all other dishes were dry and steaks were very over cooked.Service was very slow eventhough restaurant was not full and there was a lot... and I mean a lot of staff. I see no reason why a waiter or group of waiters just stand by the door and talk instead of overseeing what a table may need. I guess it works for them.Not a restaurant I would recommend.

Love this place the food is great for the price and atmosphere is awesome. And the music with singers walking around gives you a cruise feel when youre just there eating

The food here is absolutely amazing. They have the best soup here and it fills you up plenty. 10/10 recommend to anyone who visits Miami or is celebrating a birthday. They have some shows in the restaurant which are funny and entertaining if you know Spanish.

If you could imagine having a meal inside a fairy tale, this is your chance to make your dream come true. This restaurant reminds me of "Its a small world " ride from Magic kingdom. It is that crazy. Food is quite good. We ordered a variety of empanadas and tostones for appetizer. I tried the whole fried snapper. It was spectacular. Our table ordered churasco steak and a Columbian soup. The highlight of the evening was a witty dinner show by 2 singers, entirely in Spanish. I did not understand much, but the audience roared with laughter all through the evening.

Ive been to Colombia numerous of times ....even the Fondas in Medellin...this place takes the cake....it dosent have the live shows like in Medellin but it has a little dance for some dancing....also food was great I went here on a Saturday night and the closed at 3am.

Cheese arepas are delicious! Their enormous churrasco is excellent, and their flan is amazing!! Their drinks are good but even when paying premium they use cheap vodka which makes for a horrible headache the day after. Entertainment is very good, funny, fun, i loved it!

Great place and food. Atmosphere family friendly. Waiters are all attentive. Only downside is limited parking due to the popularity of this place. That is offset by the valet service. Has improved over the past couple of years. Went here for my moms b-day and James gave us 5 star service! Hope to see you again soon!
