Restaurante Oslo - Vegetarian restaurant in Silla, Spain
We ordered the tasting menu and it was lovely!
Exquisite vegetarian food and best city museum ever!
Very tasteful food, this is a good restaurant to convince people that vegetarian food can be just awesome! Staff is okay but not good or excellent.
Fantastic fully vegetarian menu (many vegan optionswith locally sourced food representing different cuisines from pasta to poke. Quality was excellent. The croquettes to start were delicious.
Really lovely service and atmosphere. Delicious vegan options- the croquettes and the burrito were amazing!
So happy to eat here.Great service, great food.
Extraordinary food! A must visit for vegans, vegetarians & in fact any food lovers when in Valencia!!
Friendly staff but the food was not good (with the exception of “arroz al horno”and portions were small.Weird combination of ingredients and not straightforward options.
I am neither vegetarian or vegan, but when I am in Valencia I try to eat at Oslo at least once a week. The menu del días during the week are a great value. The service is efficient and the staff are personable. I just splurged for the weekend and had the aubergine moussaka as my main course. Delicious! Highly recommended.
Excellent vegetarian food! I can highly recommend the croquetas filled with cheese and the Helsinki hamburger. Location is very convenient (just one street away from the busy hustle of the Old Townand service was super friendly.
Amazing vegetarian food, good wine, nice atmosphere! We had a really great time.😊
A rich variety of cuisines catering to vegetarians - a much needed reprieve if anyone Im your group, or yourself, is vegetarian
It was extremely delicious, yet completely overpriced! 15€ for a dish that wouldnt fill up a child is a bit much. Vegetarian/Vegan food shouldnt be a luxury.
Giving stars for the thought behind the restaurant: an all vegetarian place is rare in Valencia so cheers for the initiative.Apart from that, the food and drinks are extremely overpriced. If it was something exceptional in taste, I would not mind paying but it was just normal bland food. They can do much better! Even the place does not have an expensive vibe (in terms of interior, lighting etc.). I see no reason for person to pay that much in this restaurant.
Locally sourced, vegetarian & vegan specialties served in a country-chic destination. Signs next to dish which contain milk.Food ****Very delicious food with unique flavors. We got the burrito, which was amazing, and the quesadilla was okay - perhaps try a different dish. Appetizer was very cheap and we got the mushroom croquette. Dessert we got the chocolate mousse with pistachio ice cream which was unique and divine!Service ***Decent service. Didn’t like that they charge you for water. One server for many tables was a little delayed but they could have been short staffed.Atmosphere **We thought it was cute but the heat was almost unbearable in august. They had no air circulation, windows were shut, no AC. Everyone was fanning themselves with the menu.Price €€Below 15 per dish and appetizers super cheap.
Absolutely delicious! Great vegetarian & vegan options
Highly recommended vegan experience in Valencia.
The vegan food is entirely selfmade and exceptionally good. The best vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Valencia in my opinion. There are also many gluten free options available. And the waiters are absolutely lovely :)
Tired of tapas? Oslo is tucked away in a narrow alley, just a few steps from the outdoor cafés in bustling Plaza Negrito. The elegant restaurant exudes a sleek, contemporary Scandinavian vibe. The kitchen serves creative vegetarian and vegan dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with quality ingredients. And it looks much more expensive than it is!…approximately 35 euros with wine, appetizer and main course.
Delicious food, artfully prepared! If you have tastebuds, you will love Oslo, whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore. In addition to the world-class cuisine, the waitstaff are kind and helpful and the atmosphere is lovely. Whatever you do, dont skip dessert.
Modern cusine vegetarian/ vegan.Very friendly/ nice waiter. There are many of vegetarian/ vegan options for all eaters. Starters, 1 course, second course and desserts. The portions are legit as well. All the food melted regardless if it was protein, veg or starchWe give this experience a five out of five.Shout out to the waiter and cooks!
Starters were very tasty but small. The waitress was extremely rude from the start. We ordered the Thai pasta which the menu stated was spicy but it was ridiculously sweet. When we asked to take back the pasta, the waitress started slamming the plates and cutlery......................................................................This review response says it all. If you’re reading this, avoid this restaurant. We opened the window because the restaurant smelt awful upstairs. Yes the starters are very tasty but they are small. This main was not nice at all unless you like melted Haribo as a sauce. The waitress was unduly rude and certainly did slam the plates when we said the main was too sweet and had no spice in it whatsoever although stated it was spicy in the menu. We had eaten a forkful each, not half the dish! I appreciate they’re running a business and I would have happily paid the full price if the dish was at least edible but simply put, it just wasn’t. We appreciate the fact that the waitress couldnt speak English but we used Google translate when needed. We have been to many restaurants where the staff cannot speak English but it was the mannerisms and attitude that were rude.
Fantastic Foods, exellent Service. Allso garnivare can get belly full. Cheap restaurant.
What a great restaurant. Delicious and creative food. We got 3 croquettes, 2 primeros and 2 segundos to share between two of us. We were so full we couldnt try dessert! Great waiting staff too. Will have to return. Thank you
Really unique and delicious food. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.
Food was great! Really recommend to any vegan/vegetarian/people that struggle with gluten that come to Valencia.I believe the food here is great for non vegans as well though. Their dessert and potatoes were on another level and no meat would make them better.
Great food in this cozy restaurant, tucked away in the Carmen. Friendly service and very reasonably priced menu for the quality of produce. Street terrace, ground and first floor dining areas.
I went here with two meat eating Spanish friends when I was visiting Valencia, as Im vegan and they wanted to take me somewhere I could have some options on the menu. This place came highly recommended. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. So much to choose from! Both the meat eaters found the food to be delicious and they both said they will definitely be coming back in the future, so if thats not a glowing review I dont know what is!Really appreciated the wide range of options including non alcoholic drinks and fantastic desserts! Highly recommended!
Absoutely delicious however the prices are quite high for small dishes but I think it makes sense with the style of the restaurants. The desserts are quite nice just wish they had more vegan options. Also don’t go for the vegan cheese
Nice, modern vibe, and an interesting array of dishes on offer. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly and the staff are very welcoming. The only issue is that we had quite a bit of a wait between courses, but it could have been the limited staffing when we visited.
Some of the items are too expensive for what you get. The lighting isn’t very inviting. The staff seems apathetic at best, it almost feels like they hate their job. Also don’t call something lemonade and ask 6,5 when it’s just water, lemon, mint and minimal sweetening. The burger with 4 pieces of potato was 16 euros, that is very wild. I personally wouldn’t recommend going here unless they make some adequate adjustments to the experience of their restaurant. I’ll end on a positive note, the croquettes were delicious.Edit: seeing that you responded. I work for a food company myself so I understand price, quality and value. And as a professional I am telling you this burger was not worth the price. We serve similar products in a different country and even our products are cheaper than yours so please keep your excuses.
I was expecting a lot based on other reviews and I was sadly very disappointed. The food was average at best, everything tasted quite bland and it’s quite overpriced for what it is. The only thing I might have again is the moussaka which was all right, especially the tomato sauce was very flavourful. The service wasn’t great either, at times it felt like the waiter had forgotten about us after asking him for another minute to review the menu and him coming back 10+ min later. And at other times it felt incredibly rushed - he brought us all our starters and first courses at the same time, which literally left the table completely covered in plates, and then brought out the single second course quite a while later.I ordered a dish that is marked gluten free and vegan on the menu - a duo of dips. And I got a little basket of store bought gf crackers with it, while my partner got proper flatbread. Quite disappointing as I expected something more from a dish that’s originally supposed to be gf, it felt more like a quick improvised substitute. After dinner we both felt quite sick - we were thinking they might have used regular cheese on the moussaka instead of vegan one. Just speculating of course, but it did leave an additional sour taste in our mouth after an already underwhelming evening.
Lovely place on the narrow old downtown streets of Valencia with seating outdoors and inside at 1st floorI enjoyed vegan croquettes with mushrooms, fried potatoes with spicy sauce, vegan quesadillas, sangria (vegan burrito and vegetarian pear pasta)One great place to visit as vegan / vegetarian in Valencia for a fancy lunch or dinner
Very tasty starters and desserts, main dishes in my personal opinion were okay. Nice street atmosphere. Inside seating looked very basic.
After having visited Copenhagen first, we decided to have dinner at Oslo a few days later. The location is quite different, as the terrace is located in an alley. A more spacious setup would have served the restaurant better. The food is simply amazing, so big credits to the kitchen. They serve some of the best vegan food we have ever tried. And a friendly reminder to never skip dessert - it is outstanding. So why only 3 stars? Well, the service was not up to standard. Impatient, sloppy, even impolite at times. A shame, since the people making the food deserve a better ‘front of the house’ representation.
Amazing vegan food, especially their burger . We didn’t properly understand how the lunch meal deals worked and were served an enormous volume of food, but it was all so good that we couldn’t complain. Took a lot of leftovers home for dinner that night. The sangria was also great.
Incredible vegan and vegetarian restaurant! Beautiful space, lovely staff, and the food is incredible. Highly recommend the sharing menu so you can try a bit of everything. A must visit in Valencia for vegans and meat eaters alike. Will return!
Its a lovely place in the centre of valencia. Everything is spectacular except the food was too bland for my liking. Its not a totally vegan place as they do have vegetarian options. The menu is very well marked so you would have no problem. I would still give it a try again as it has a good drinks menu and excellent vegan croquettes.
Amazing food, vegan options. We took the menu, which was incredible for only €18 with 4 shared starters, big main plate and 3 desserts 🙏
Thank you for making the end of my trip great. Great hospitable service from our waitress m: Faiza. Thank you! Great food and very filling. A restaurant to recommend to any vegetarian out there in VLC!
Really good health food, super tasty, full restaurant, nice menu and good service + Ambiente - all in all a very good experience. You can get a starter, a main and a dessert for 18€ for lunch :-)
My wife persuaded me to take her here and we had the set menu.Absolutely fantastic food and value for money.
Must recommend this nice service and perfectly food with very economic price. we chose daily menu. the price is cheap but the taste is really nice. two menus with drinks only spent 28.60€ in Valencia— the third biggest city of Spain. Can’t imagine it happened today. i want come back soon if possibly👍PS: the location is a little bit difficult to find with google map. GPS told me I arrived but actually it’s behind where I arrived .....Google map , pls be more accurate🙏!
Really good Restaurant with awesome good decorated Food! Im vegetarían for 10 years and this Restaurant delivers everything what a good veggy Heart lover Nerds!
I’m glad that there’s a delicious vegetarian restaurant here. The hamburger and Thai udon are really nice.Even my picky boyfriend likes it!
Excellent vegetarian restaurant. Not expensive, staff are very friendly too. Give it a try you wont regret it.
I’m not a veggie but do try not to eat meat all the time and visiting Oslo was great. All the stuff made with seitan was executed well. Real nice menu. As you’d expect from any restaurant in Valencia’s old town they have a great drinks array.
Went there twice in one week. Food is good, some things better than others. The seaweed salad was weird, the udon was just ok. Both artisanal pastas were absolutely delicious, wild mushroom and truffle bread was great too! Nice raw vegan carpaccio. Could be a little hard to get hold of a waiter, but generally a good experience. To return! (Yet again)
Perfect food, service is poor but don t let that stop you from going over.
We had a fantastic meal here. The service and wine were great too. Our food highlights were the seitan brochettes and fake prawns!
