The sweet and sour chicken was the best one I’ve ever had!! It comes with pineapple so I guess this is their secret recipe :)

Great value for money. The food was decent, the service was fast and the dishes were very large.

The best Chinese food I’ve EVER had was in Antigua. Granted I haven’t traveled to APAC yet but this was amazing. Was able to have a wonderfully delicious meal and get a cake brought out for a birthday for about $50. Make sure you tip your waiters!

We got the orange chicken and it was just okay. I wouldn’t get it again, but I would go back and get another dish. We saw several other tables get dishes that looked really yummy! The wait staff were very nice and food was quick to arrive too.So overall just a solid 4-star experience for us and we would go back to try other dishes.

Surprisingly good! Asian food is a hit or miss in Latin America but this place really did a good job! The food is delicious,big portions and good price. Dont let the price fool you, you will have leftovers!

My go-to for Chinese when Im in Antigua. Only one issue, no dumpling sauce. Great staff.

Not very good Chinese style food like the kind you get at a strip mall in any lesser small town in America. Bland and poorly prepared.

The drinks tasted watered down compared to other local restaurants around. My family and I ordered the lo main, chow main, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and an order of chicken fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken had more fruits in the meal than chicken. White rice is not included with the meals so we did have to add an order of white rice to the order. The food portions are large and it’s enough to share. I did not know that when I ordered so we had to go containers at the end. The food tasted good and I would go back.

Pricey Chinese food. We got here at 8 and were only allowed for Togo orders. We got fried rice and hot & sour soup with veggies stir fried rice noodles.The rice and noodles dishes were good!Their hot and sour soup was not the "traditional" style you usually get at Chinese restaurants. They put way too much bamboo shoots and it actually tasted mainly that. There were also chicken and shrimp in it. Not a vegetarian friendly dish.Good portions though.

Pleasant surprise. Vegetables and chicken were very good, plates are huge (we ordered soup, egg rolls and mixed vegetables, we had to take half of it to go). Not cheap- we payed about 250 quetzal. Service was promp and polite. We also came around 8 on a Wednesday and were the last customers. Plenty of parking, but weekends will probably be different

During COVID-19 we tried it by ordering and we were impressed. They are quick to answer and even faster to deliver. Portions are big and the flavour is BANG ON!! We ordered from them the following 3 weeks and multiple other times. Definitely one of our favorites in Antigua!

You can definitely find cheaper Chinese food in Antigua but in terms of quality Mulan is the best. Worth the cost!

Fast service, tastes very similar to american Chinese food in the states. We tried to see who the chef was but didn’t have success communicating with them as they spoke very little English.In fact, the beef noodles tasted just like the ones we’ve tried in the street stalls in China many years ago. If you have to get one dish here it’ll be that!

LOVE this place! Some of the best Chinese food Ive ever had. Consistent, portions are large, delivery service is fantastic and you can order right through Facebook Messenger in English, which is wonderful for those of us attempting to learn Spanish still! And to that Alan Royal that only gave 1 star because HE misordered and expected them to give him something else, for free apparently. The menu has the English descriptions right below the Spanish ones so I dont understand how its possible to blame Mulan for your admitted mistake or expect them to pay for it. Maybe if the menu was only in Spanish, I could accept that a little more but its not. Sad a review like that affects their rating, imo, especially when social media is so important to them.

If youve had Asian food in the states or in Asia, this obviously doesnt compare. The food is hella salty. This is the second Latin American country Ive had Asian food at and its a ton of salt.I had the beef with thick noodles and fried dumplings.

I’ve walked by this place for many years visiting Antigua and finally decided to give it a try a year ago. The Singapore noodles equivalent (rice noodles with currywas excellent. I tried another rice noddle dish with chicken this time. It was also delicious.

Very decent Chinese restaurant in Antigua. I was a bit skeptical at first, since Im ethnic Chinese, but this place is definitely good. Im giving them a five star for being bold in opening a good Chinese restaurant in Antigua.

The dumplings were delicious and super quick but be careful when you order the fried rice because it could feed 4 people

I don’t agree that it is one of the best Chinese food in Central America, there are other restaurants which are better but it was ok, especially chop suey. I would not recommend the pork.The service was good.

I was not really sure what to expect, but I have to say I was not disappointed. I loved it. The food was really good and the portions were very large. It was a really nice restaurant made me think I was back home.

Restaurante Mulan was a great find. By far the best Chinese meal weve had in Central America. Dined in on 2 separate occasions during our 2 week stay in Antigua.The food is VERY authentic, and always consistent with generous portions. Food was good, service friendly. It was a little to restless in the restaurant. Also the dishes come without side rice. You have to order it extra. For this price I would expect rice included

We enjoyed the food. Since someone wrote that the portions were small. We ordered too much. Luckily we could take the left over with us.

I was looking forward to a nice curry chicken meal. After carrying my takeout home, I found that it was a vegetable dish of bland taste. And even more annoying was the miniscual amount of white rice for an extra 12Q. Last time for Mulan. I would definitely not recommend.

Far better than I expected. This place is excellent. I ordered 4 different dishes on 4 separate occasions. Everything was amazing except for the egg rolls, which were still not bad. Definitely eat here if youre getting tired of the local cuisine. Its legit!

Great food! Popular for take out. Tonight we had chop suey lomito (beef). Meat was perfectly tender and vegies were plentiful and perfectly crunchy. We went there another time an ordered 2 dishes for 2 people and had enough left over for a complete breakfast the next day. Take home was in a nice reusable container.

I wanted to have a lunch of cooked vegetables so I ordered what I thought was a vegetable only dish. They brought me out a huge plate of only fried rice with very little pieces of broccoli and onion in it. There were no vegetables. I told the waiter that I had made a mistake but he did not offer to let me order something else. I paid and left.

While in university I was blessed to have Chinese friends who used to share their authentic Chinese meals. This made it very difficult for me to enjoy any Chinese restaurant that I have been to until now. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The Mulan rolls were great.

I order a take out meal. The order was wrong, amd that there was a hair in my food and I didnt realize until the guy had left. I rang to try and explain, and the manager did it care!!! I would never order from here due to the poor quality food (and the price)!and the fact that they do not care and did not make any effort to remedy the situation as the manager "was at home" ... worst food establishment ever!!!!!!!!!! Great experience in Antuiga... not 🙄

Delicious with generous portions! You can order one plate to share with a portion of rice or side and would be sufficient. Decent prices. Well recommend!

Highly recommended! We shared a sweet and sour chicken on the advice of staff who said the portions were big. They werent exaggerating, the portion was enough for the 2 of us which meant we both ate for under £10 - rare in Antigua!

Good prices! You get big portions of delicious Chinese food. I recommend the 1/2 roasted duck and beef chop suey.
