I ordered a mutton Rogan Josh that the owner had assured me was a spicey curry. When it finally arrived there were 4 pieces of meat, 2 of them full of tiny bones. The curry was oily and watery and had a sweet flavour. The waiter also forgot to bring me any condiments such as chutneys or salt and pepper. Very dissapointing. Atmosphere wise, it was busy so I have no complaints about the time it took to get the food or the noise of a busy restaurant however the restaurant cell phone kept ringing the Nokia ring tone which could be heard above the music and busy restaurant. Not enjoyable at all.

I go here all the time. Galaxy restaurants are the best place to go in Maputo if you want Indian food. The best galaxy is the one at Co-op avenue. The place just looks like India, not fancy, just Indian. I love it.

Food is highly recommended but they are not following the protocol of Covid 19. They allowed four gentlemen entering the restaurant without mask. One of their waiter was also talking continuously talking without wearing mask. Like this they are putting the customers like in danger.

Ive been in the restaurant several times. The food is delicious and they take very good care of customers.

The restaurant is great for family meals as well as for take aways. Highly recommended if work or live nearby. The prices are affordable and the service is good. The franchise has been operating in Mozambique for quite some time now. They have 3 restaurants spread around the province: 2 in Maputo city and 1 in Matola. Enjoy!

I had been there in Maputo for two years and the existence of the growing number of Galaxy restaurants is a highlight. I had food a couple of times at Galaxy and found it quite good. Taste is good and the price is also reasonable.

Everything so good. I love dosas, and I ordered masala dosa but unfortunately it was smelly. I talked with the waiter so he called the owner. I asked him if he can change with a new one, and gladly he did. Many recipes to try though, must be cheapest Indian restaurants in the town.

It was a 30 minute wait .Grilled fish was dry and expensive.Would have got a better meal at ocean basket back home in south Africa and much cheaper

Number one in taste, quality of food.I had visited Mozambique 3 times and all of my visit I never missed to have the food from Galaxy restaurants.The food is so tasty so I would suggest you to try all varieties of Indian curries. Best Indian restaurant in Mozambiue, among all Chicken Kadai Biryani is the best. I always going to the same restaurant whenever I am in Maputo. All Dishes best in its class.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had. AND surprisingly the best pizza I’ve had in Maputo. Amazing that they can do multiple types of cuisine so well! We are there 5 days straight we loved it so much and because they offer such a great variety. The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant is comfortable and beautiful.

I had chicken masala again, good portion and reasonably priced as always, yet could do with some consistency in their preparation. Sauce very gingery this time, chicken was just thin drumsticks with bone and not juicy, boneless tandoori pieces as before. Garlic Naan was top. Nice service, competent and helpful.

Very nice indian restaurant.find many indian tastes according to what you deserve.Ask for a localy made yougurt with suger.there is always a place for parking.Safety is on place but please ask the guard or one of the boys standing by to look after you car if you do not secure a parking location close to the restaurant.Have a nice taste

I considere this the best restaurant in town because of the food taste (indian flavour), cleaning and prices... with 650MT (USD10you can have a 2 persons satisfactory meal...

Excellent restaurant.Yummy Indian food with reasonable price.Gobi manchurian , tandoori chicken, tandoori roti, Kerala paratha was really taste good.Mutton biriyani is ok not bad. Every one who will visit Maputo must go and eat in this restaurant. You will enjoy the food. Staff and supervisor are friendly nature.

This was the only restaurant that we could find that was open on January 1st, and we loved it. Their food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect if youre looking for something full of people, happy and vibrant. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Maputo.

Good indian food, but easy to run into problems such as food being off and also workers being very rude to customers. This weekend 17.09.17 one of the owners or worker hung the phone up in my face claiming that he was too busy to hear complaints. There are better restaurants in town that serve really good and in my opinion better. Try Moksha.
