Restaurante El Buffet Verd - Vegetarian restaurant in Barcelona, Spain
Amazing place. The food is delicious, well thought and healthy. The lunch menu is a steal and I definitely recommend it for dinner too.
Lovely restaurant, great service, amazing food
Visited last week and have to say very disappointing. The ambiance was lovely but food was really not great. Ordered the gyoza, pad Thai, and fried tofu. Lacking in flavor, pad Thai was not pad Thai but just soft tasteless noodles and the fried tofu was like rubber. For the price expected much more. With so many great places to try in the city, would not be coming back unfortunately
Fantastic meal and atmosphere - highly recommend!
Name goes quite well with food :p Meal was super delicious, especially the wrap! Falafels are not like authentic ones, they were a bit different (not a big fan). Dont try vegan carrot cake, its like bad gajar is halwa, but coconut ice cream was bomb 👌
Food was okay. Rather bland pad Thai. Good service.
Amazing gourmet food with plenty of gluten and lactose free options. Totally recommendable, best Asian fusion food I have had in Barcelona.
Great food with reasonable prices and friendly staff. They mostly had wine by the bottle and four by the glass. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat our party of 2 right away. Maybe for later in the week I’d recommend having a reservation.
Price / Quality is fair. Glutenfree and vegan options.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was 10/10. I would highly recommend getting the muscles and the squid/prawn rice. The restaurant staff were really accommodating for my girlfriend who has a gluten allergy.
A restaurant to discover: people are nice, the courses are homemade and fine taste. Price are right according the quality. Well done
Delicioso!!! Great food, awesome service and affordable prices🤗
Super good food, decent price and gluten free!
Just perfect. A small, intimate venue with friendly staff and wonderful cuisine. Lots of gluten-free options for people like me and a really interesting variety of dishes, matched with a good wine list at reasonable prices. We were only in BCN for 2 nights but having eaten here on the first night of our stay we were so impressed we came back the following night - something I hardly ever do.
Pretentious and overpriced. The food is okay but not great. At least they have some healthy options. The service is not good
The best gluten free lunch we’ve had in Europe
Earlier in the week I had dinner with my three kids, one of them having gluten allergy and is vegetarian. The other two kids initially did not fancy the menu but when we ordered the food they loved it as did I and my vegetarian daughter. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and the staff is very friendly. The food was muy rico and was quickly served. Definitely worth a visit!!
We went for lunch and were very disappointed with the pasta and chicken karage dishes. The salad starter was ok but drowned in sweet dressing. The vegan chocolate cake was good though.
Settings and service are impeccable. Food however is arguable. We ordered chapati with hummus and lentil dipping, very nicely presented although the portion is quite small. For the main course, I ordered the vegetarian mix bowl of falafel with salad, it was impressive, delicious, a hearty meal.My husband ordered a sauteed prawn and octopus with artichoke and mushroom. Im sorry to say we were quite disappointed with the dish, the seafood tasted like frozen, the artichoke was tough and fibrous, the whole dish was super salty, youll need to order an extra bowl of rice in order to fully enjoy the taste. We love the ambient in the restaurant, however for the price we paid Ill expect a better quality of food.
This place was beyond amazing! The portions are just right, we lived around the corner so we didn’t have a reservation but they allowed us to sit at the bar and we had a blast! Amazing dishes and portions with great choices and divine taste! I loved this hole in the wall and the fact that almost everything is gluten free was an immense plus !!! This is a definite go to when in Barcelona 😍🥰
Food is delicious, place is nice, staff is friendly the only not so positive thing is the price. Its a bit expensive, not for every pocket
Nice restaurant with dishes for all preferences, allergies, intolerances, etc. Set menu is a very good deal - for €15 you get a starter, a main, either dessert or coffee, and tap water. Portions are the right size - there were 3 tortellini with my starter, and the main was fist-sized, which was more than enough. I would recommend the aubergine tortellini, but the tofu noodles werent oustanding. Not every place in Barcelona offers tap water straightaway, so kudos to them for doing so!
Creative, healthy and warm atmosphere! Vegan & vegetarian options available.
The restaurant is very good especially for people who want to select their own best food as much as possible. Its not only vegetarian but also people want to avoid gluten, lactose, entire wheat including no gluten wheat, or ketogenic practicioner and etc.The soup maybe with panpkin and ginger and seafood over brown rice are really tasty. My favorite is we can order the brown rice as a side dish.
You will want a reservation!Happily, this adorable little restaurant has survived the pandemic and appears to be thriving. Food and service are absolutely wonderful. It is quite amazing how the small kitchen turns out such elaborate dishes in short order. The menu is so impressive that it makes choosing difficult. Wine options are quite attractive and delicious too. This little place is a gem!
Super cozy, great food, friendly staff. There is really something for everyone on the menu. The red wine Brutal was amazing too. Highly recommend!
A cute restaurant with an amazing variety of vegan and gluten-free food! The service could not have been nicer! The food tasted great and the prices were very appropriate. I would come back anytime!
Great food, options for everyone (vegan, meat, vegetarian, pescatarian…plus dog friendly restaurant. They welcomed us and accommodate our three dogs and went above and beyond preparing food for my raw fed dog. Thank you so much!
It’s a restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere and a good selection of vegan dishes - four vegan main dishes and I think four options of vegan starters, plus vegan cake of the day. They also serve meet and fish. A great option for a slightly more upscale evening out if you are vegan. It’s not very big, so reserve in advance to avoid disappointment
Pleasant and very well located place where to grab a bite. There is a wide variety of gluten-free’s —which we tried and enjoyed— and vegans’ picks.Nice mojitos, a bit expensive but still a lovely surprise!
Absolutely fantastic. The food is AMAZING. It has loads of vegetarian and gluten free options. The staff are really nice and attentive. The place looks good, smells good and feels good. Very nice atmosphere and ambient music. Its just a 10 out of 10.We will be coming back soon.
I have severe nut allergies and Restaurant Gut was so kind and accommodating! Their menu very clearly lists all major allergens that each menu item contains, which made ordering so easy. The server took care to confirm a few ingredients would be OK with my allergies, which I appreciated. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you for a great evening!
July 2019. I came for dinner on a weeknight and sat at the bar. Cozy interior and very friendly and helpful staff! I ordered the gazpacho and stir fry with tofu. The soup was fine, but the stir fry was way too salty and a kind of small portion size relative to the price.
Food was good, I loved the truffle filled pasta and the tataki. Price was reasonable, about 12-15 EUR per dish. Good service, dishes came out of the kitchen at a good pace. The only thing I have to complain about is the toilet smell that you notice at times, not sure whether its the ventilation system that is open on the ceiling or the fact that the restaurant is small.
Nice atmosphere. Very well thought out nicely presented and healthy. Very welcoming staff
Great food! Excellent vegetarian options
Good food. Nice staff. Lovely decoration. Portions should be bigger as it is quite expensive.
Excellent food, cosy environment and friendly staff. We had the house salad and pad thai...yum!
We visited Restaurant Gut on a recommendation. We enjoy vegetarian and vegan places that put in the effort and deliver. This place does both of that. We got there around 8 pm and by 9 on the place was full. We have the house style salad and vegetarian pad Thai and both were delicious. Please visit this place if you are looking for a good alternative restaurant to enjoy
Best meal we have had in Barcelona so far!!Fabulous Service. All the floor staff very Polite and helpful throughout the meal. The menu is fresh and exciting.Very chilled and relax place. A starter on the house was a lovely touch. Also highly recommended for anyone with any food Intolerance or special dietary needs!! Good value for money too.We hope to go back be for we leave!
The food was delicious. Very nice and intimate setting for a romantic date. Service was friendly. Gluten free bread kept coming (something Im not used to here in CanadaLoL No extra fees neither bc I ordered a gluten-free meal.
Excellent service and very tasty food. Quite a surprising little restaurant with a good ambiance.
Great place for those of us who have egg, gluten, and milk allergies. Staff is friendly, but be sure to check the bill twice. I almost paid for a dish that I didnt order.
Cute place and nice food. The only problem I had is that they serve their curry in an iron pan - which is not suitable for that use as the food tasted like metal. Why not use normal plates?? Such a pity.
Love this restaurant, have eaten here 3 times now in two separate trips to Barcelona and it is always amazing. The Thai mussels are to die for and have had these every time! They are brilliant for gluten free, which for me is great as am coeliac, but their menu (which is offered in different languagesis clearly marked with gluten free (majority of the menugluten alternatives, containing milk/egg and vegetarian. No matter what day of the week it always seems to be busy, so would recommend booking a table (although we never have done, and been very lucky to have one spare table for two or eat at the bar). Cannot rate them highly enough, always friendly and attentive staff, but didnt feel watched even when sat eating a full meal at the bar. We seem to always get complimentary amuse bouche which are lovely, although dont know if again we have just been lucky! Try it and see for yourself 😊
Fantastic menu for people with food allergies/celiacs at reasonable prices! Loved that there were vegan options but also meat and fish. The pad Thai and the brownie were amazing and gluten free as well as dairy free (brownie came with sorbet). Will definitely come back!!!
Healthy and trendy place located in gracia. Its really cozy, simple but beautiful decoration. Good service and all the dishes are gluten free. There are options for vegan/vegetarian.
Great place with flavours from all around the world. Nice service. Everything is really nice. A must for gluten intolerants.
Service and style impecable. Vegans & vegetarians be wary of cross contimination of plates. Service is very swift and changing plates was handled very professionally. TBH the best no mitchelin star place in bcn that has standards.Food quality is above average, but as a chef and vegetarian they cross contaminate plates in my instance. As the restaurant gave showed me credibility perhaps it was a matter of training. I wishes every bcn restaurant had the discipline of their head waiter. Quality of food was okay, but i am not planning to repeat the experience
Delicious food. A good selection of dishes both vegetarian as well as fish and meat dishes. Ambient music and a relaxing setting. We went at 7pm when they just opened again for the evening and without a booking and they were able to accommodate us.Also noticed they are accommodating to families but its not a family restaurant in the traditional sense.
