Good place to enjoy colombian food! They dont add veggies to the dishes! But the food was good!

Awful management. I attempted to tip our waiter and they were unable to provide me a receipt with the tip included.When I asked the manager for a receipt for the full amount (dinner+tiphis response was, “buy more to reach the amount.”I replied, “the tip is for your employee... don’t you care about giving them the money they earned?” He responded, “I don’t care.”The food? Poor, below Olive Garden quality.Stay away

Nothing special. The fish was 2 dry the plate was boring and tje service its soso. They own the restaurant across so I figured it out.

The kitchen seems not to be the best but prices are quite high.

Not a place to be recommended. Pizza it’s ok but the rest of the dishes are tasteless. Service was awful and waiter didn’t know how to explain dishes.Restaurant has a big nice outdoor area right in front of Parque Lleras.

There are two prices on the menu, it is illegal as the Colombian law states that all the charges has to be on the price published including fees as the “credit card services”

Really great food, especially pasta, soups and starters like bruschetta. Very tasty and “al dente” as it should be. The ambience is great and location is exactly in the middle of everything in “parque lleras”. Also the staff members and service are great and very recommendable.

Live music, great drinks

Food and drinks were good. Service was great.

Excellent food, great atmosphere in the heart of where the action is. Its one of the only places where the volume was appropriate. You can actually hear someone when talking without having to scream over music.

They said that on Mondays there is happy hour (30% discount). When the bill arrived there was no discount. They said that it was because that Monday was holiday, not regular Monday. Very bad

Stay away from this place. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU ON THE BILL. The food is marginal and over priced for Colombia. There are far better restaurants with better food and prices just blocks away. The service is disgusting. Even when slow the literally ignore you. THEY CHEAT YOU ON THE BILL. Menu prices are in CASH and CREDIT. Even when paying in cash they will charge credit prices. Food very greasey

They decided to charge me a double shot of liquor which I did not ask for, although my previous visit I was charged a normal price. I only came here for drinks since the food is mediocre at best. They did not rectify the situation, and in asking for a manager, I was left waiting. I know they did not call one, and it is obvious they just took advantage of me for being a foreigner.Stay far away.

Terrible customer service, problems with the bill and normal food related with price. I have to wait almost 5 minutes for additional seat and after 20 minutes the order was wrong and we have to change. The customer service is the worst never seen. If you wanna spend more than hour and eat normal god that’s the right place

Food was okay to me. They will charge you in different price if you pay by credit card.(just a little bit more). However, i got 30% discount in happy hour start from 3pm-8pm.

The place is huge and has a great ambience. However the food is a bit without taste. Its not bad, its just simply lacking in the correct spices.

Despite service and credit card/cash prices, food here is really terrible. And such a small portions.

I had the chicken finger salad and it was not nearly as bad as other clients are making it out to be. Furthermore the cash/credit price differential most people are complaining about is common in Latin America and levied by Banks; not the establishment. Definitely a run of the mill tourist restaurant but far from the hole being described here.

Food was relatively ok. BUT BE CAREFUL! There are 2 prices, 1 for cash and 1 for card. I paid by cash and when checking the itemized bill I realized that I was charged with prices for payment by card which are more expensive. Not really nice to treat tourists like that as it was clearly not a mistake but more of a regular scheme, it was even written on my bill cash payment bill.

Worst. Avoid at any cost as their food is nothing but average and service is even worse. They have a cash and credit price list yet try to scam gringos who wish to pay cash - billing them price as listed under credit. When you try and explain anything they belittle and dismiss you. Definitely not worth their overpriced service and food.

Good attention from the staff, but the food is very out of time. I tasted the lasagne with meat but its more meat than lasagne I mean I couldnt taste pasta just a lot of meat with a bit of pasta.

Eat twice there......first time steak with vegetables and it was just great. Second time i choose Spagetti Carbonara. It was okay but nothing real special and close up after 50% of my meal.

I waited over an hour to get my food. The service is horrible. Avoid at all cost.

The food was quite good (I got the Pollo de la Parmesanabut the service was awful. The waitress was not only unfriendly but she neglected us. It took about 20 minutes after we finished our meals to get the check. I was even going to order another drink but she never came back. Unacceptable!!

Very horrible taste and service. I ordered spaghetti with shrimp and red pepper... I received a very sad plate of solitude...shrimp floating in bland sauce with no red peppers...I asked the waiter about it who didnt tried a bit to understand but shouted at me loudly in Spanish. Very rude... no... extremely rude. The worst "Italian" food ever... I can hear Italian crying out loudly from Colombia 😡

Horrible. Please avoid this unless u have lost a bet.I made the mistake of coming here and ordering vegetarian salad (their grilled veggie). I liked the description. But what a shocker. Their four different vegetables right out of a can. They didnt even care to drain out the cheap vinegar.Two minutes after eating I had blisters in my mouth.Stupidly overpriced and horribly pathetic quality.If u want good quality food, just go anywhere else. Thanks.

Had some great food here my first night of my first visit to Medellin.Great steaks, authentic and delicious and the service was exemplary.I love the open air feel to the place and the open kitchen.Sat right in the Parque Lleras nightlife district, popular with locals and tourists, alike.

Popped in here when we got caught in a thunderstorm. The majority of us were vegetarians and there was a pretty good choice. The spinach ravioli was good and so was the sangria, but the pizza was so-so. Prices were on the medium range.

Expensive, bad service, good portions of food, bad music, good sangria.

Im afraid that al Rojo has also gone down hill with their service. We waited 15 minutes for a waiter to approach the table. They were ALL busy setting up a table for some large party that wouldnt arrive till later. Totally disconnected. I think the so called manager was running back and forth between Basilica and Al Rojo thinking his job was to put out fires instead of preventing their start.Its a shame. Its such a great location with excellent food.
