Restaurante Airelibre - Restaurant in San Juan, Puerto Rico
It seems to be a local vibe. Food wise the rice was plain and unseasoned.. the chicken was dry and unseasoned. The portion size was good and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Excellent service, tasty food, wonderful ambiance.
Food was delayed but worth it. Service is okay.
Great place to hangout with live music, good drinks, and good food. Plan on coming back!
Wonderful atmosphere, outside terrace, very tropical. Food very good. Service a bit slow but its the covid situation. Not many people want to work.
The fiscale was good, the Kalamari was very bad. Mofongo was nice , service ok
Acceptable puertorican selections.
Excellent puertorican food for your money!
The waitress excellent, service and food.
Great local place, delicious mofongo and churrasco. The mojitos were also some of the best I’ve had!
The food was delicious however the service was absolutely awful. We arrived there about 2 hours before closing and were 1/3 parties there. We placed our orders within 15 minutes of being there. The appetizers came out pretty fast. Dish 1 was a bit slow but came out. The last 2 dishes were placed at the same time and took 1 hour for it to come out, when it did, one of them had a hair in it. During this time the workers were sitting in the back corner talking and attending to us at all. We had to wave him down so he could check on our order. Then had to wait another 15-20 mins before it came out. Workers were not attentive to us at all and we constantly had to repeat ourselves or they would walk away in the middle of us talking to them. The chef came out several times while we were still waiting on our food and before we even left was smoking a cigarette right behind us. Overall was really disappointed in my experience here.
Adult, fresh and fun environment along with Mojitos, great food and excellent service.
Monfongo and 2×$5 mojitos... thats all i need
Amazing ambiance, great people. Food does take a long time to get to you but great experience overall.
Nice place. Good quality price inside
Amazing food and atmosphere as always!
Great place! Excellent service
Excellent place to eat. Wonderful ambiance and atmosphere.
Service was excellent, but the food should care more of its quality. No the price.I will be back if quality improved.
The Food was amazing and the service was surprisingly excellent 👌
Great Caribbean food. Amount of portion served and flavor is top. Attentive personnel at all times. The place is quite affordable in food and beer. Ambience is very familiar and quiet. If your taste is Caribbean food give this place a chance to try it. Wont regret it.
This place was a great surprise. Great service. Tried the hamburger with homemade French fries and it was the bomb.Parking is available.
Great ambiance and tasty food, but slow service.
Full of people. Food not as good as expected...my husband got sick with Churrascada!!!!Nice prices.
The food was okay, the sampler was the best part of the entire meal. The food is pretty bland, there was a noisy generator near the restrooms where we were seated, and the menu wasnt updated. It wasnt horrible, there were some good things here and there but we wouldnt go back.
Good prices, but inconsistent dishes. When its good, its good. Service will be slow if full.
It’s a place where you can enjoy the Island breeze with a side of cold beer. We tried the mofongo, next time I’ll stick to tostones with chicharrones de pollo 🤤😋
This was the first place we ate dinner visiting PR. all the food was amazing. We ordered tostones de pana, carne fritas, filte de mero, mamposteado, queso frito and mojitos. Our favorite thing was the fish and the mamposteado. It is very casual and a good spot in walking distance to the night life in La Placeta. The waitress was also very patient that we didnt speak much Spanish.
Cold beer and great food idk if you can ask for more
Open space. Good food. Has parking. Reasonable price. Good customer service.
A great restaurant for traditional Puerto Fican food at great price for a tourist trap location!
Great atmosphere. The food is great and the mojitos are the best
Great local food! BUT, our food and service took really long.
Tasty food, nice service, open spaces, nice shade. Super place to relax with friends. Ample parking in the front. Daily specials.
Went on vacation for 2 days and we ate there 3 times in those 2 days lol my fav place to eat in PR.
The food is great the staff is nice. Its a great value.
Excellent Local joint. Good food, drinks and service.
This was my first time in this restaurant and food was very good, as well as the service. it is an open-air structure, hence its name. I had a grouper filet in butter with fried green plantains (filete de mero a la mantequilla con tostonesthat was excellent. The grouper was melt-in-your-mouth tender and tasty and the plantains crispy. Moderately-priced menu. The Medalla beer was cold and $2 a bottle. Not bad (not sure if there was a happy hour). Anyway, I recommend this place.
Been here twice, including today, and had the churrasco de cerdo and chicarrones pollo. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back here again.
This restaurant is amazing !!! The food is delicious, everything is homemade, very quickly the service, and the waiters are very nice. Those mofongos are so GREAT. I don’t have anything negative to add to this restaurant. Also they have mojitos, sangrías and margaritas. If you wanna try some original Puerto Rican food or “criolla” food, this is the perfect place to go.
In corona times the food was good! They have parking
Nice ambiance...good food and prices..simple , cozy atmosphere..parking space available.
Excellent food and service.
Great ambiance. Authentic food. Generous serving
Great flan! Tacos de pescado were tasty and very filling. Great service, nearby--what more can you ask?
If I could give this place a million stars I would. My friend and I were robbed 2 nights ago and ran to the first store we could find, which fortunately was Airelibre. We explained what had happened and right away the bartender gave us free beers. Somebody gave us their cell phone so we could call the police. As we waited for the police to arrive, Hector, the owner/manager stood by us and told us that we could have as much food and drinks as we wanted - on the house. He offered us cash and a ride back to our hotel as well. Some other people (who I think worked therecame over to my friend and I and offered to help as well. When the police arrived, Hector served as our interpreter. He also gave us his phone so we could call our parents and figure out what to do. We are so appreciative to this wonderful place. The food and drinks are great but the people who run the establishment are even better :)
My first visit in this place and I have to say that I liked it a lot more than I expected, very good atmosphere, fresh and cozy, recommended if you are looking for good local Puerto Rican food, definitely come back, recommended.
Good and fast service. Food portions outrageous. Very reasonable prices. Quiet atmosphere under the tree shade.
Great place, however they never have a complete menu for food or drinks. You go there just hoping they have what you crave. If they dont though whatever you they do have taste excellent!
Great food, excellent service and atmosphere.
