Restaurant Zvonice - Czech restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic
Expensive and posh restaurant with very tasty local dishes. Service was good, apart from mixing the order with another table and then just ignoring the fact that it happened...
To eat delicious food inside of a bell tower is a lovely experience!
A wonderful experience eating in an ancient tower in Prague. The restaurant is located on 7th and 8th floors and has a unique atmosphere, friendly service, not cheap but worth it.
The restaurant is located in an exciting old tower. The food is amazing & the atmosphere is great.
Really special place if youre looking for a nice dinner in Prague. Amazing setting, delicious food, lovely staff, and great service. Thanks for making our last night in Prague so memorable!
I booked a table on the occasion of my fiancees birthday and also on the occasion of our recent engagement. I asked if it was possible to have a table with an especially nice view in order to celebrate both events. We indeed were seated at the most private table with the best view on the city. For the gentleman serving us this table was pretty inconvenient to operate since he was not able to serve both of us from the same position but had to walk around a wide pillar and serve us individually. No complaints or any indication of annoyance from his side were to be noticed during the whole dinner. We felt bad for him and we appreciate this hard work and display of professionalism. A big, big thank you for that. The highlight of the evening was when we were surprised with the chance to visit the bell room at the top of the tower where not only we got to enjoy an even more impressive view on the city but also were granted the honor of listening to the bells melody. Regarding the food; it was excellent. This place does not only live from its location but also has a formidable cusisine. The menu choices include mostly typical czech dishes. Absolutely worth a recommendatiom without any hesitation.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was so incredibly friendly and hilariously funny. The rest of the staff was super nice as well. The food was incredible. One of the best meals any of the 4 of us have had. Great experience, food and ambience. Highly recommended!
a really special place. restaurant in a tower. the view is good. its worth it for the atmosphere. its not cheap, but the food is very tasty. the service is very good.
Unique restaurant with high quality cuisine. Service is good and food is tasty. Highly recommended if in the area. Make sure to make a reservation in advance.
A fantastic spot historically and a wonderful culinary experience. Many selections of food and wine.
Quite pricey, but definitely an experience. Ideal atmosphere for a romantic dinner. Authentic Czech cuisine, and Lukasz is the most attentive waiter in the world
The food was to die for! We had the lamb shank and roast duck entrées. They were moist, rich, and superbly cooked. The sides were a great compliment. For starters have the saurkarat soup. You wont regret it. The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. We ate on the 7th floor under the bell! That means good luck for us!
If you visit make sure you sit on the 8th floor, not the 7th. Definitely not a good value, but it is a unique experience. Chicken Supreme and Duck Breast were good.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. You get to spend some time in a historic tower, enjoy the bells and views of Prague. Service was excellent. Main courses were very tasty, with depth of flavor and good portion size. Its on the pricier side, but it was worth it for our special occasion.
Fantastic place. The atmosphere, the service, the food, the drink, all superb. The staff went out of their way to make it a really special occasion. So grateful to the team and would very highly recommend you go and try for yourself.
Very good dessert! Rest ok. Friendly staff. Nice interior.
I had a great time, dishes were nice without being incredible but I would still recommend giving It a try. Staff was really nice and helpful, style of service is a bit dated but charming and fits the place. The view is great and if you have time give the tenth floor a try to look around the city!
A very good restaurant. I had smoked duck as starter.. Delecious. As main I had the wild boar. Very good and tasty. Atmosphere.. combined with a good bottle of wine.. made a perfect evening. Staff was courteous and helpfull. Easy to recommend.
An incredibly refined restaurant nested within the walls of an ancient tower in the Old Town of Prague. Not only is it worth it due to the uncommon setting of the restaurant and the view you can enjoy from up the tower but also thanks to the service: outstanding. We have been very well treated and the two waiters at the eighth floor have been impeccable. The food was extraordinary as well and I must say that the quantity/quality/price ratio was more than right. Totally suggested, we will come back to enjoy the quaint atmosphere!
Very nice food. Interesting interior, definitely different then other restaurants ( real bells are present in different variations). Steak I ordered was amazing. My friends were also satisfied with the food. Worth money.
Make a reservation! We called on the day and there was no space, we did just drop in that same evening around 6PM. They put you on the 7th floor instead of the duplex 8th floor. Its the same atmosphere and kitchen. The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the wine list, pairings etc. We went for the wild game with a traditional twist, the food was absolutely mouth watering.
A little hidden, but highly recommended place to visit if you are after an unusual location and excellent meals.Located in an old clock and bell tower, the ambience is next to none. The prices are higher than other places, but absolutely worth it.The staff gives excellent service to the guests, and the food is perfectly prepared.Important to remember, you have to book in advance, otherwise you are running the risk that theres nothing available while you visit. It was definitely not the last time weve been here and I strongly recommend a visit.
Service takes extremely long and for the price they dont pay enough attention to customers, even the check took 25 minutes to arrive. Food is good but way too expensive for the experience. Overall, is an overpriced restaurant to catch tourists like me. Great decoration and view though.
The ambience in the bell tower is amazing. The food was a great experience and the service was impeccable. Roman was friendly, trully professional, his recommendations on what to try were spot on and he was great at presenting the dishes and answering our questions.I would definitely come back when I revisit Prague and I trully recommend it for a romantic dinner or special occasion.A bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it.
We chose Restaurant Zvonice as our Christmas dinner while traveling abroad here in Prague! We were so happy with our choice and loved the ambience, uniqueness of the venue, and cozy atmosphere! Roman was our host and waiter on level 7 and he was very knowledgeable about the menu as well as happy to recommend some of the best dishes! He did not steer us wrong with our choices- We absolutely loved the food and were impressed by its presentation and taste both. Our dinner in the bell tower will not be forgotten!
My best restaurant ever in Prague, service mind, delicious foods, it’s just 350 m. from my hotel.
It is a experience, the atmosphere and the view are unique, great staff , the food was also good, more expensive than the average restaurant with similar menu at weekends, but they have a lunch menu from monday to friday.
Excellent restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. Very romantic. Food is Czech, but not what you expect.
amazing !! great service , food and atmosphere !! Traditinal czech food that lef me speechless !! good value for the money ! for sure will be bac and also i sugget the evening time as the view have to be amazing :)
A restaurante in the tower, a nice experience. The food was good.
Best food in Prague with a lovely view. After we have had dinner, these guys even showed us the observation deck and played the carillon for us - amazing.
Had made the absolutely most spectacular fillet mignons which were perfectly done and great sorbet! Would 100% recommend to try!
The restaurant is great. The place by itself, the food, service and drinks are amazing. Highly recommend this place.
Where to start, what a lovely restaurant which had a great setting and was just a lovely restaurant in general. It was quiet but we did go late on a thurs evening. Food was lovely and the service was great. Would definitely recommend.
Great restaurant, not a tourist trap! On top of medieval tower, very intimate and cozy. Great service and very tasty dishes. A bit pricey but definitely worth it.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and service, yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for. It was brilliant and probably one of the nicest meals weve ever had.
Situated on the eighth floor of an old bell tower, this restaurant had a unique feel, vibe, and atmosphere. Way better than I expected. I had the beef soup and Venison for dinner. My meal was delicious, as were the meals of my buddies. Service was great. The place was fairly empty at 7:00pm on a Wednesday night, and we didnt need to wait. Id definitely go back.
Great Food and Outstanding Service...My party of 8 arrived on time and was seated immediately with drink orders taking shortly after...A must visit, especially for you Whiskey drinkers.
Amazing dining experience. I definitely recommend the wild boar. Our server was completely honest about they menu and was wonderful. What an awesome feeling eating at the top of an historic bell tower.
Best service ever.Seriously the waiter was so professional.Im vegetarian so i knew i wouldnt have alot of options at the traditional kitchen, but he took care of it and we just took whatever he recommended. My boyfriend really enjoyed his food, he eats everything. You have to make reservations, our hotel booked it for us.We had some local wine which was expensive but we loved it.The bell tower is just beautiful. They kind of build the restaurant around the original wood structure. The tables are set like you are absolutely alone. You cant see anybody.Very romantic.Very recommend. The food is good but its more about the experience.
Great location, friendly staff, good food. Ask for the time for a meal as kitchen is very small. Not a small budget and can find cheaper for same quality in other places. You are paying for the location - 8th floor in the clock tower
Amazing environment rustic, cozy with candle lights, entirely built with wood. Concerning the food we went for dinner and didnt want to eat a lot and we found what we were looking for. A very tasty soup and an Amazing light dish. It was made of baked red beed with goat cheese, balsamic sauce and vegetables. I highly recommend it, very nice combination of flavors. The service was great as well. We paid 45 euros for the soup, the red beed still water and Fanta. We got a nice entry as a gift. A very nice place in Prague.
Expensive, a wee bit over priced in my opinion but it was rather delicious. The view from the 8th floor if you are lucky enough to get a table at the top is beautiful. Watching the sunset behind Prague castle was amazing. Food times were a bit on the slow side, 30+ min for soup starter and over 60+ for main. Slow in my opinion even for European standards so go well before you think you will be hungry. The servers themselves were great. Reservations are a must.
Very very nice place. Very nice service crew. Very nice food. A bit expensive (starter, main dish, desert, a spirit glass -> count 75-80€ per guestbut what a nice memory to bring back home :).
Expensive, but delicious.Good portions.Great service.Cant beat the setting, on the 7th floor of St Henrys Tower, surrounded by thick wooden beams from the 16th century.
It’s an expensive evening, but a delicious one with excellent views... you won’t regret it! We had a corner table on level 7 which was quite romantic. Excellent service. Views are spectacular from level 9 above (we got a private viewing after dinner as it was officially closed, so nice!We got a complementary prawn starter before our soups arrived, which was lovely and I recommend the sauerkraut soup to all!
Really beautiful restaruant in an old bell tower. Went here as part of a food walking tour, excellent food. It has quite an intimate feel. It is located on top floor & there an elevator.
Nice and intimate place with great view. Meal presentation was flawless and meal was tasty. However due to a price level of this place youll visit it only for special occasions few times a year. 330ml of beer for 155,- CZK is most probably the most expensive beer I have ever had in Prague.
Came here for the soup- which was excellent! Also had the ragout which unfortunately was not good at all-the meat was tough, the sauce congealed and it had an overwhelming taste of capsicum.
Phenomenal food. Great service. Not rushed. Try the sauerkraut soup, crawfish soup, venison with pistachio crust, and the half duck. After the dinner our waiter asked for our tour guide to bring us to the top of the bell tower. Absolutely beautiful and a wonderful experience all around.
