Très bonne fondue dans ce chalet chaleureux pour un évènement professionnel.

Nice food and ambiente with beautiful view, has this kind of ski trip vibe, very cozy and food is good.Only one thing if you are a tourist... traditionally you dip your fondue bread in Kirsch Schnapps, so they will try to sell you a whole pricy bottle. If you really want to try it, only take one shotglass full, it will be enough for everyone on the table to try.

Server squeezed us in without a reservation (truly a godsend), the food and drinks were delicious. Service was slow but they gave us a shot for our troubles. English menu readily available (a huge plusand decent prices. Wonderful atmosphere

Great place with delicious fondue. The atmosphere is rustic and lovely. Had a misunderstanding which led to a long wait for food, but it was worth it. Would have gotten five stars if not for long wait.

Wir besuchten das Pop-Up Restaurant als Weihnachtsfeier und Teambuilding-Maßnahme. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und mit gemütlicher Aussicht. Dennoch war der Service sehr mangelhaft. Einer Kollegin wurde Tee auf den Pullover geschüttet ohne sich zu entschuldigen, der Service war teilweise sehr überfordert. Als es dann zur Rechnung kam, gab man uns einen Zettel und einen Stift, wir sollten bei einer Gruppe von 16 Personen selber ausrechnen, wie viel jede Person gezahlt hat. Eine Information im Voraus wäre von Vorteil gewesen, dass man die Rechnung in der Gruppe nicht aufteilen kann. Die Reaktion des Serviceleiter war leider sehr unprofessionell und unfreundlich, nach ewigem Diskutieren durften wir dann letztendlich dennoch unsere Rechnungen einzeln begleichen. Dies gab dem Abend einen sehr bitteren Nachgeschmack. Die Qualität des Essens war in Ordnung, aber die komplette Überforderung des Services leider enttäuschend. Für Teamevents und größere Gruppen definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Schönes Ambiente, ausserordentliche Aussicht über Zürich inkl. See, jedoch kann dieser hochbesuchte Ort sich offenbar leisten, dass das Personal zum Teil sehr ungeduldig und unfreundlich ist. Auf einfache Sonderwünsche wurde auch nicht eingegangen. Ständig wurden wir nach schnellen Antworten gehetzt.Das Essen ist ok, jedoch leicht überteuert, die Aussicht/das Ambiente ist spürbar im Preis inbegriffen. Keine gute Gesamterfahrung.

Fondue sehr gut. Service ist sehr bemüht. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Insgesamt einen schönen Abend mit feinem Essen erlebt!Stern Abzug auf Grund:- Wir waren 17 Uhr bis fast 18 Uhr die einzigen Gäste, das Service Personal war sehr laut, machten Vorbesprechung für den Abend als wenn wir nicht da wären- Auf der Karte war nicht ersichtlich, dass das Fondue eigtl ab 2 Personen nur sei, der Service drückte sich ein wenig und meinte eigtl solle man alleine kein Fondue bestellen. Vlt besser deklarieren.- In der Speisekarte steht „so viel Beilagen wie magst essen“, heisst für uns Beilagen jederzeit wieder Bestellbestätigung und zwar gratis. Das am Ende für eine kleine Schüssel Reis und eine kleine Zweite Schale mit Obst (Birne/Apfel2x CHF 8 genommen wird empfinden wir als irreführend und überteuert.

Essen mittelklassig, Preis in Ordnung, Service bodenlos. So einen desaströsen Service habe ich noch nie erlebt - leider nur 1 Stern.

Ich und mein Schatz waren Gestern zum ersten mal im Chalet Züriberg. Wir freuten uns sehr auf ein Fondue Chinoise. Als wir das Chalet sahen waren wir umso mehr begeistert. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, ein wunderschönes Cheminé mitten im Raum. Entsprechend warm war es. Wir bestellten das Chinoise serviert wurde uns ein Käsefondue. Dieses schickten wir zurück in die Küche. Danach kam nach einer Weile das richtige Fondue. Als Beilage gab es Reis. Dieser schwamm zu unserem Erstaunen im Wasser. Auch hier reklamierten wir und bekamen sogleich den gleichen Reis wieder, jedoch wurde kurzerhand das Wasser abgelehrt. Die Folge war, dass der Reis in der Zwischenzeit kalt war. Nach den ersten Stücken Fleisch sahen wir uns fragend an. Ist das Fleisch wirklich frisch!?…fragten wir uns. Wir assen weiter und bemerkten, dass wir Käsefondue-Gabeln anstelle der Fleischgabeln bekommen hatten. Kaum reklamiert erhielten wir 4 Fleischgabeln, obwohl wir nur zu zweit waren. Nachdem wir die Saucen probiert hatten und der eine oder andere Tropfen den Mund verlassen hatte, wollten wir den Mund abwischen. Da merkten wir dass es keine Servietten an unserem Tisch hatte. Diese bestellten wir dann auch nach. Die Menge an Fleisch war ok. Auf der Karte hiess es Beilagen a discretion. Wir bestellten uns also noch eine Schale mit Gornichons, Silberzwiebeln. In der ersten Schale waren gerade mal 5 Gürkchen und ca. 8 Silberzwibeli. Eine zweite Schale gab es nicht, da ausverkauft. Dessert war sehr gut…..Tobleronemousse. Die Bedienung blieb stets freundlich wirkte aber äusserst unprofessionel. Wir wurden nie gefragt ob es passt und ob wir noch mehr Beilagen oder Fleisch möchten. Wir sind beide nicht heikel. Haben alles aufgegessen und den Abend trotzdem genossen. Das Ambiente würden wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein minus ist das WC es befindet sich im Hotelgebäude nebenan. (Etwas weit vorallem wenn es kalt ist). Fazit …. Ambiente schön, Essen schlecht…Preis hoch.

Very good food. For lunch they have a 🍽 of the day. Cheese plate also good. Amazing view for the lake of Zürich. If you want to impress your girlfriend is a good place to take.

WoW! I mean this is probably one of the closest hidden places for a daytime view of the entire Zurich town! Oh and the fondue as well as raclette - simply the best! Desserts were also rarely tasty.

I called the phone number on the chalet Züriberg website and reserved a table for 8 persons to eat fondue… When we arrived the waitress said there was no reservation on my name. I then showed the confirmation email I received. The waitress said that instead of reserving a table at the chalet, I reserved a table for the hotel restaurant! No one at the telephone mentioned the fact that there are 2 restaurants or asked for which one I want to reserve a table! The phone number to reserve for the chalet is the same as for the restaurant! A total mess! The restaurant has a totally different menu and prices. We went somewhere else and are not planing to reserve a table at the chalet züriberg ever again.

Super schöne Location mit Blick auf den Zürichsee. Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich. Unsere Tisch wurde kurzer Hand auf die andere Seite gelegt, da wir noch Freunde getroffen hatten und so alle zusammen an zwei grossen Tischen sitzen konnten. Nach dem Abendessen, haben wir draussen Glühwein beim Lagerfeuer getrunken.

Very good fondue, dry cut platter was amazing as well. Music was totally out of context though. Eating fondue in a traditional looking Hut does not match with random music from red hot chilly peppers or evanescence.

I went there for a company dinner and it is better than what I had expected.I suggest to reserve a table and not just show up as it fills up more or less instantly.The salad was enjoyable according to my colleagues.The Fondue was definitely the highlight of it. It was divine. Id eat fondue there again if the need existed. The bread they served went perfectly with the Fondue.The Atmosphere was just brilliant. It really felt like you were in the "mountains" despite it being the Zürichberg.The Châlet is made out of wood with a wooden fire in the middle.For fondue on a night out I suggest this place over others.

Beutiful, great food and fantastic service!

We have spent the Christmas dinner with a group over 20 people here. We had fix menu with fondue Chinoise / cheese fondue. Fondue Chinoise was so so, portions were ok but meet slices were quite thick. Sources were basically just mayonnaise with something. We recieved only chips from package as side, no kidding. Cheese fondue was practically inedible. Thick like polenta, too much flour instead of cheese? Maybe.Lastly we were served some wine throughout the dinner. Nothing special but we saw 2/3 of the bill came from wine and water, we were charged 9 franks for each open bottle of water. We had no clue how but we were charged finally 130 pp.If you dont count the setting and the view from Zürichberg, this place gets a clear one star.Just a scam for tourists and large groups, where they know, they will be booked anyway around Christmas time.Just do your self a fever, stay away!

Way too expensive compare to the service offered

The pros: the location, the view, the decor and the fondue. Decent salad starter. The cons: the room can get hot, but our visit in 2019 was cooler than 2018 so as the hut is built each year maybe they have increased the ventilation. The fire was not on when we visited this year so that might explain it. The open red wine is rough. The open white wine is average. Water is a rip-off: we didn’t ask for tap water. We ordered sparkling. You don’t see the bottle, it’s brought in a carafe. It was still. It was probably tap water: okay I’m feeling generous : they may have filtered it but there’s no need to do that in Switzerland. Tap water is wonderful. They charged 9 Francs for the water, I repeat 9 Francs. That’s about £6 in British money.

Wonderful place to eat the most delicious Fondue in Zürich with an amazing view! Service was so friendly, we really liked everything about the place!

Nice chase fundue

Cozy fondue chalet in Zurich. As a starter we had black tea and a tray of sausages and cheese. As main dish we had the fondue with bread and potatoes and a bottle of red wine. It was great! Specially for a cold winter night!

Inside the chalet you really feel as if youre somewhere in the Alps! Very cosy atmosphere. We had the cheese fondue with truffles which was very tasty. The platter with assorted meats was nice too. The service was attentive, only a bit slow in the end when we wanted to pay and leave. And its a bit noisy. But I would definitely recommend it if you want a nice chalet experience in the city!

Was wonderful evening, we did a ‘hike’ from Milchbuck to the Chalet and had super tasty fondue dinner. Will come again next year when it’s open.
