Restaurant Wiesen in Eindhoven

Absolutely amazing, delicious food! A really unique place where you can celebrate something special. The personnel is very kind and well trained about the etiquette. We had the chef’s menu and it was incredible!

Excellent service. Great gastronomic experience. Reasonably priced. Attentive to the details and personal preferences. A must visit if you’re in the city and looking for fine dinning. Visited this place twice and going to book a table again!

Tijdens carnaval een fijne avond gehad bij Wiesen!Volle tafels en relatief kleine ruimte maar wij konden elkaar goed verstaan en de akoestiek was goed!De gastheer en gastvrouwen waren goed op elkaar ingespeeld en vulden elkaar waar nodig aan op bijvoorbeeld water inschenken.De gerechten waren mooi verdeeld qua snelheid, verrassend qua smaak e/ combinaties mede hierdoor een mooi avond vullend programma.Borden mooi opgediend echter werd alleen tegen het vrouwelijk gezelschap gezegd dat de borden heet waren - ook bij andere tafels viel dit op - alleen dit was door mijn partner niet te horen zo zacht.Enige minpuntje vonden wij het ontbreken van een wijn arrangement of soort gelijk, nu voelde de wijnen afgestemd op of de fles al open was - al was de smaak goed bij de gerechten!Daarnaast zou de wijnkaart uitgebreid kunnen worden met 1 zin over de wijn en zijn smaak of karakter. (bij Italiaanse wijnkaarten is dit bijna standaard om zo de wijn huizen uit elkaar te houden - we zijn niet allemaal kenners maar wel geïnteresseerd!)

Wat een ervaring… tot in de puntjes perfect. Hadden een tussengerecht met een erg sterke kaas, echter niet mijn smaak. De bediende kreeg dit mee en bood direct een nieuwe gang aan. Ik uiteraard bescheiden gezegd dat dit niet nodig was en de chef er niks aan kon doen dat dit niet bij mijn smaak paste, toch kreeg ik een nieuwe gang: ‘signature pancake’ van de chef! Enorm lekker! Kortom een hele mooie avond gehad!

Amazing food, amazing staff and fabulous wine. My fiancé proposed here. The staff was kind enough to help him to surprise me. We are vegetarians so we had a special vegetarian menu. Each course better than the previous one. In the end I even had a "pastel de Nata" (sweet traditional from my country Portugal). It was an unforgettable evening. Everything was fabulous. As a restaurant with a Michelin Star, prices are quite ok. We paid 180 euros for two people and full menu.

Michelline star restaraunt has its star not for nothing. One of the best dinners Ive ever had. With wines for each course it costed me 150 euros, but it worth it

The best restaurant in Eindhoven. Is quite an sensorial experience

A nice surprise for the centre of Eindhoven. We had the 8 course special menu. The dishes were all very nice with lots of attention to the details of tastes and made with original ingredients. Very enjoyable! Service was also good, friendly and quite casual. If I have to mention a negative then Id say that it was the surprise that they charge for some of the amuses you get; it was not clear upfront. Of course, expect a high bill as this is a Michelin star restaurant in Holland. Nevertheless worth another visit.

Visited Wiesen for a 4 course lunch menu. As you can see from the photos the style of the different plates is nicely aligned with the season. Service before and during our visit was really good and the quality of the menu is excellent. The interior is stylish and surprisingly they appear to have a very high-end audio system for a restaurant (just a fun fact). Highly recommended!

Nice place to eat, small terrace along the Kleine Berg. Good food, but overall experience just below the one star Michelin ranking of other restaurants in the region.

Amazing food! Definitely worth the price. We had the 6-course menu and the scallop. Everything was nice.

An unbelievably delightful off the path restaurant. An intimate space just waiting to be discovered. The wait staff is so attentive, welcoming, and just plain friendly. I enjoyed a 6 course meal complete with golden caviar and foie gras, and the most perfectly executed beurre blanc I have ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and hop on the train from Amsterdam to enjoy perfection.

We enjoyed our stay in this trendy and fine dining restaurant. Staff is friendly and very attentive. From start to finish perfect service. The food was well prepared and tasty. Staff know their stuff and gave very detailed information of the food and wine they served. We can look back at a very succesful culinary experience.

Modern & cosy restaurant. High quality cooking!

Great spot for a special night out. Very intimate atmosphere without feeling cramped. Staff expertly told us about the wines accompanying our dishes. The chef even personally came out to serve a few of his amazing dishes. We came on a very busy evening so we could only done for a few hours, but service never felt hurried. Just a little bit saddened that there was no time for a cup of coffee, but that means Ill just have to visit once more. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the great quality of the food and the expertise of the kitchen and wait staff.

Really good restaurant, French cuisine Michelin star restaurant.Although every dish is really good I especially enjoyed the oysters with caviar (from Eindhoven).The staff is very friendly and skilled.The day I was there the chef brought most dishes to my table which gave it a more person touch.I will definitely visit this place again.

Amazing 6 courses for a lot less than whatd you pay in Italy for an equally Michelin starred restaurant. All dishes were delicious, the personnel in the room was always ready to help with our choices, and explained in almost perfect english every single ingredient.

If you book for 10 people and let them know you are only 8 on the day of your booking, they want to charge 100€ cancelation fee per person. Totally unacceptable.

Excellent restaurant and very nice meal

This restaurant definitely worth a stop. The stuff is very kindly. There rissoto is some in that I will remember. And actually a lamb was very good.

The food is incredible. They cooked us a special vegetarian menu. It is expensive, but a unique experience, totally worth a visit. I was very impressed that they were so accommodating of our requirements, and I tried some of the best food I ever had in my life.

Very good food! Nice ambiance. Not cheap, but worth it

An expensive experience that is ruined by a very rude head waiter. Wont go again, and I do not recommend. There are tens of more polite restaurants in the area, one michelin star does not make them irreplacable. Leaving with a pleasant vibe is the most important thing you can buy for this price, which we could not have. Instead, we got stressed out by the rude attitude of the rudest waiter in the Netherlands.

Dishes were well prepared and the flavors were excellent, 5-star worthy. The dining room itself isnt really cosy and is small. To get a 5th star they will have to move to another location.

Only ever had lunch here but it was top quality with friendly efficient staff. It’s not cheap but still recommended.

Top restaurant in Eindhoven. Its petite but great food, atmosphere and great team! Worth every penny.

Went alone and ordered the 5 course menu with matched wine (half glasses). I must say that this restaurant is in a different league than other restaurants I have visited in Eindhoven. The food was amazing with clear tastes and interesting dishes. The matching wines were also really good and matched the dishes perfectly. Finally the service was spotless. The only downside was the price, but it kind of comes with the territory. However, clearly recommended!

Main reason is the food, second is the location, third is the price.. Absolutely great.. The Service is also great and very professional but a bit too hectic in my opinion.. But all in all.. All money worth!

Overall great. Had the seasonal truffle menu - delicious. Somehow this place has a weird combination of chique and informal.
