Fast and friendly service on the terrace by the Danube. The food was very tasty, the meal was reasonably large.There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant, which is definitely an advantage on such a busy road.We recommend!

Excellent service, food was really tasty and the portions are huge. The view in the evening is so nice outside on the Danube shore.

After three weeks of traveling outside the country , we had a real ,,cold shower,, as soon as we returned when we decided to eat at Taverna Sarbului. No air conditioning, no proper conditions for the clients, a lack of respect by keeping them in a real sauna, very bad service , we arrived at 16.00 and they brought the food at 17.30! So…don’t stop there!!!

Very good, very fast but check the prices before ordering, you can discover a pricey invoice at the end.

I would rate the food 8/10, service 9/10, the view 10/10. However, it is very pricey for what you get. It is priced like a high end restaurant and everything is separate.

The food is amazing! We had chefs speciality and crepes. Both were amazing but the crepes/pancakes were incredible.

Condescending personal and the food was so salty that, despite drinking huge amounts of water afterwards, I woke up parched the next day.Mediocre food. Big portions but too expensive.The fries were brought already salted with huge chunks of salt that crunched between my teeth when I tried to eat them. The meat was even saltier!

Too much boasted place but in the reality much far a way from real good food. Too big menue which is of course not possible to be good and fresh

They bring large portions that you cannot fully eat only so that they can charge extra.The meat is too salty and not well prepared.Prices too high for what they offer.Waiters are very inefficient and just chatter around between themselves instead of helping customers.

Even though you do not ask for bread they still give it to you and if you try to pay by card they dont even leave the receipt to see if what you ordered is included there.But the place is great scenery-wise and the food delicious!!

Excellent restaurant, I cant say nothing about this, but at the back of the best place it is a bathroom and toilet for the truck drivers!!! Its dirty and smells like a........ Please clean this place with a program and take from the drivers 2 Euro for use that bathroom!!!

This was an odd experience. It was my first restaurant experience in Romania, so I can only compare to other 4+ rated road-side restaurants in other Eastern European countries. That said, the food was edible but nothing more, definitely not worth the money. We paid about 50 euro for meal and home made lemonade for three persons. The sparkling lemonade with honey and mint tasted great though. The building itself looked inviting with plants all around, but we had a hard time finding our way to the restaurant, which was at the back of the building, facing the river. The outdoor terrace was nice, right at/above the river, but unfortunately there was no smoke free area outside. A smile from the staff would have been nice..

Food is ok. Good parking lot. Good view over the Danube river. Overall good infrastructure. Service was really slow, nothing was as it should be in a rather large restaurant. The food (basic, nothing fancycame after more then 30 minutes then we waited for the knives and forks to arrive. No salt at the table, nothing after 30 minutes waiting. I ordered a 75ml bottle of sparkling water and I had to ask for a glass. All this should not be happening in one of the most known restaurant in the region.

The food was great, lovely patio with a gorgeous view over the Danube. The customer service was 10 stars! (Sorry for the shade of my phone showing in the photos 😁).

The most awful restaurant in Romania. Waiters can’t speak english. The milk, juice and cheese werent fresh. The fish soup was disgusting. I really dont recommend

The location is really nice. Eating on the side of the Danube at the sunset is a wonderful experience!The food was ok but not for the price you pay for it.The service was bad. Our waiter was grumpy the whole time. She also got our drink order wrong.Her help was nice, but we only interacted with him when we paid the bill. I wish he would have served us instead.It would be nice if they would separate the smoking customers from the non-smoking ones.

The restaurant has a very nice location right on the banks of the Danube. The quality and quantity of the ordered food is adequate.Service was very slow, we had to speak several times until they came to our table, the prices were more in the upper-middle category.In my opinion, it could be resolved to separate non-smokers and smokers into separate sections.

Touristy restaurant on the Danube where the portions are big but quality is average and the food was cold.

A very good option to eat when you visit Orșova or Drobeta Turnu-Severin. You can eat Serbian food, they have a very varied menu, and a terrace perched on the bank of the Danube. The staff is very friendly and even though it is always crowded, the waiting time is decent. I will definitely be happy to return to this restaurant every time.

English-speaking staff. Clean bathrooms. Outdoor seating. Large food portions and a large selection. Great service. Please dont forget a 10% tip!

Good food and great location, until the food arrives you can enjoy the small walk way near the water and enjoy the sound of the water. Impossible to miss :)

What a great place! Located literally on Danube with awesome views while you have your meal! Normal prices and delicious food!!Parking for trucks cost 5€ and you can have a shower too!

Restaurant with great location and an amazing view. I’m little bit tee person and quality of tee was good, finally restaurant that served a large cups of tee. Honey and milk was on our table automatically without asking. Service was nice and friendly.now about negatives. Cutlery was dirty, soup wasn’t anything breathtaking, for price 16lei I was expecting much more.Bathroom ... restaurant is ok, view beautiful, service great.. because of all of this I was excepting little bit elegant interior of the bathroom plus the fact that restaurant is very big, also I was expecting more than just 2 toilets.

A nice place where you can eat romanian traditional food based on ingredients found on all over the country. And especially fish based recipes. You have to try them.

Decent food at best, the price isnt justified.The location itself is OK, the food is at best decent (Ive been to Belgrade and ate some traditional Serbian food - no comparison to the one Ive eaten here except for the name), the service isnt that good and the prices are exaggerated. Youre not missing out on much if youre not eating here.

Hearty meals and quick service. From the beginning you are greeted by a hostess and shown to a table. Right after a waiter will ask you if you want something to drink while you decide on your meal. The choices on the menu are plentiful but dont expect too many vegan or vegetarian dishes as the specific of the restaurant is a mix of serbian and romanian dishes which comprise of many fish dishes and lamb, pork chicken and giblets. I always go for the fishermans platter as it has a bit of everything. At the end you can pay both cash or credit and there is even an ATM if you want to redraw some cash. They have both a terrace and a smoking and nonsmoking area. The view on the terrace is amazing as you can see the Danube as well as the serbian bank and also a lot of ships passing by. All in all a great place at any time of the day or night.

Placed in the beautiful spot on the Danube river is the best about this restaurant. Food is not as you would expect and from my point of view, it is overvalued...

This Restaurant is placed very closed to the Danube.Big car park in the front, a park with bench on the left and 2 terance.The food is mainly serbian style, but they have traditional Romanian as well.The price are not so cheap, but the food is great and the serve too for that money.

I wouldnt recommend this place if you dont want to lose your money. The food is ok but expensive. The place looks great, has nice views and very clean bathrooms. When it comes to service Im extremely disappointed. Our waiter (L.F.had the worst attitude, besides this we ordered something we didnt get on the table but it was mentioned on the bill

A nice restaurant situated on the banks of the Danube, with a great selection of food and drinks. Has a big parking lot including an electrical charging station. The fish soup is a must!

WOW!!!The waiter instantly drive us to a table.For food I didnt waited to much.The drinks were very good.One of the fish specialities worth the whole 6h +6h driving there and back!!! It was fresh, tasty. I got parking place! The prices arent for a daily menu, but comparing with quality I would say is very low, because the service and food quality one of the best I ever met.You can see the Danube, a wonderful place.

Prepare to wait for your order. Great variety of fish. Nice atmosphere with the danube on one side.
