Food not very good but Friendly staff. Acceptable atmosphere with soft music. Must work on veriety and taste of dishes

Unfortunately don’t have photos of the dishes or patio cause I was more into eating and enjoying. This was an old ‘mans restaurant’ and today is a very high quality food place with a very nice environment. I eat in the patio outside. The service was great and the wine options also very confy to the menu. Will repeat for sure.

Delicious food. Little bit pricy. Everyone spoke English good but service was a bit slow.

Honestly, the worst restaurant Ive been in Georgia and the most expensive. Meat was very dry and souce inedible. Restaurant almost empty, so it was strange after read reviews, but we understood then why. I dont recommend. Plenty of really good restaurants at better prices.

Great tastings food, good service and a beautiful indoor and outdoor area. Definitely a favourite of mine. Great Georgian tomato & cucumber salad with walnuts - they use a lot of walnuts in it 😍

I was a bit disappointed for the place is really nice, the food was correct, nothing special. I called 2 days before to reserve a table in a quiet place for a romantic dinner... But it was just overcrowded, the service was really low. Instead of bringing the plates at the same time for the 2 of us, we had to eat separately snd and the rose wine was too warm.. Sorry I cant recommend it

Ordinary restaurant with expensive prices. Cozy place and the meat is very well grilled.

The place is well decorated, but food is not good. I have taken my foreign colleagues there for lunch and the quality of food was quite poor.

The courtyard was lovely and the service was attentive. We will definitely be back for more delicious Georgian food.

Traditional Georgian cuisine restaurant with prices a bit over average. 15% service fee is included. Pork kebab was delicious, and salad with elarji was very good.

when i saw the reviews i was expecting something good but...i will be fast:Food quality = 1/5 (food wasnt of good quality! More like average to low.Also food portions are extremely small!!Food menu= you get not what you see on the pictureService= average.nothing like real georgian service,more like touristicPrice= way overpriced for such quality and portions!!! 30 euros for 2 snacks a bottle of water and some grams of ketchup..yes we payed the ketchup...Also if you want to be called a good restaurant you MUST have a menu on paper not just online!! this makes you look like fast food chain(like mcdonalds)Also,i know that this in the USA is normal..but in georgia to charge 20% for service...and for such service..no thank you!

A true Georgian restaurant. Outside from the touristic places, here one cant find tourists, this also means that the price per quality decreases. Another excellent example of how Georgian cuisine manages the vegetarians dishes. Not only because of the vegetables outstanding quality but also the way they are cooked. While the food prices are really good for its quality, the wines are a little bit overrated.

I will define it short and sweet. Felt homely cosy the service is just outstanding super friendly staff it made my day really. My highest recommendation food is delicious I will be back 1000%

Very pleasant place. We had a great dinner at Sormoni. Nice atmosphere. The weather was perfect for sitting outside, in a cozy courtyard.The food was nice and the service was very friendly. I would like to say a special Thank you for the lovely and beautiful Sophia and Georgi a very welcoming, friendly and attentive owner of this place. All my family enjoyed the evening spent at Sormoni :)

Beautiful restaurant with cute garden, that makes you forget that you are in crowded city and takes you in small village of Imereti. Food is outstanding and its obvious that high quality ingredients are used. Personal is friendly and very helpful.Update:Usually in Georgia, good places lose their quality time by time. This restaurant is something different! I visited it again yesterday and quality of food and friendliness and helpfulness of stuff was even better!I had mushrooms and local juice this time, and it was very tasty and fresh.

Im 4 years living in Tbilisi , i think that this is one of the best restaurants in the city.they have a very pleasant inner open yard, quite and beautiful.food was amazing ! everything was delicious.and service was top of the line.i really recommend to try this place and see by yourselves.

Wonderfull place for dinner! Georgian atmosphere and superb dishes which combine georgian and european cousine at the high level of taste! Defenittely recommend to everybody who has priviledge to visit Tbilisi.

For the BDay celebration the host did a coupe (separate roomreservation. Coupe had chimney and separate toilet, so felt like private property. Food and wine was good, as well as friendly and service

This restaurant had a wonderful New years Eve party. Including a great feast , aithentic Georgian singing dancing and Interactive fun contests designed to make everyone feel welcome. What a wonderful country this is! What a great new years celebration !

Sormoni is distinguished with its comfortable, cozy atmosphere, especially outside sittings with chill out music in the garden makes pleasure for soul . Retro style things in the garden and traditional Georgian dressing of personal takes you back to the past. Staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. They speak good English and Russian. Menu is rich with Georgian national dishes. Various salads, meat, and deserts are presented in it.They have good choice of fish. Service is surprisingly quick, I ordered Kebab and Khinkali and they brought it after 15 minute. Different type of Georgian wine, Chacha, cognac and other drinks are presented. When I was there they had only two type of the Beer: Natakhtari (which was good enoughand Estrella. I found no big difference between them. Price are normal. Credit cards are accepted.

Restaurant is well out of the way and worth taking a taxi too. Beautiful courtyard hiding you away from the hustle of the city. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was very nice and the local wine was really good.

e had our tastiest diner and warmest welcome in Tbilisi for all time spent there. Truly welcoming staff doing everything for you to feel like youre home. And of course cuisine. We dont trust tripadvisors rating first places mostly but this time we got what we were searching for. Homemade chacha (65 percent spirit shots), khachapuri, odjakhuri (kinda baked pork with potatoes - highly recommended), ribs baked in adjika (forgotten how is this dish called, just ask the staff- everything was great, really. Bet you wont find such a wonderful place in an old town.

The food was good , but overpriced compared to other Local food, but the service and the quality is noticeable, the food portions are way less than the others .

I have been here multiple times and I have always enjoyed it. Food is delicious and very well priced. For authentic Georgian atmosphere and menu, cannot be beat.
