Wonderful restaurant in Turku, the food was incredible and blew us away, especially the smoked salmon with roe, fermented asparagus and cauliflower. The whipped butter was out of this world. Price is good for this quality, service impeccable.

Loved the atmosphere and the food was nicely balanced and really tasty. Wines recommended by the staff were spot on for every dish.

With way over 100 restaurant reviews, this is the first time I complain about the size of the portions. Bread was huge (and very very good), but I dont go to a restaurant to fill my stomach with bread. Four course tasting menu, where starters were about 60g and 40g.Very good food, except for the arctic char that shouldve been cooked a tad more to get a better texture (difference between moist and slightly slimy).

Lovely food, excellent service!

Excellent dishes with fresh seasonal ingredients. Especially forest elements such as herbs, berries, mushrooms, etc. are extremely well utilized. Highly recommend the set menus which also have an alcohol free drink package available if you are not a wine drinker.

Highly recommend this place for dinner. Superb and innovative combinations with lots of flavors. Wine package works great with tasting many. Opt for five course menu and you will not be disappointed. Dishes and tastes were in focus and wines were accompanying not stealing for food. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, all the allergies were accommodated. Check out the restrooms.

Tasty but somewhat overpriced compared to the quality / value you get for your money. Service quite polite but not on the level youd expect from a place in this price range. The staff could pronounce a few wineyard names, but once you asked for any further details on the wine itself, you were left without any proper answers. Also we had to order several times a refill of water, as no one seemed to notice the empty water bottles (even though the water would have a price tag, the waiters could pay attention to a nearly empty bottle and offer the possibility to order a new one). All in all an ok experience, but also a lot of room for improvement especially within customer service (to match the level of the cuicine and costs)

Restaurant Smör in the centre of Turku offers a picturesque and intimate place to enjoy the dinner. Cheff knows the trends and combines locally produced ingredients to new cuisine that matches Finnish winter taste, albeit the roots of the menu comes from all around Europe and Asia - berries, lambs neck, shiitake mushrooms, yoghurt, beef tongue, chicken, salted fish and root vegetables. Something new and something borrowed, but everything is well balanced. Worth to visit (spring 2019in case you are in town.

If you want to visit Turkus most well known fine dining restaurant choose this place for your dinner.First time I got to taste what they had to offer was a new years seven course dinner. The food was simply magical from presentation to taste. One of the most special meals was a game meat platter with dry ice.Service at the restaurant was very friendly and relaxed. The presentations of the courses were very well done.Atmosphere of the restaurant is classic fine dining. You don’t need to wear your sunday bests and wearing relaxed casual clothes Is fine.

Extra ordinarie lunch for a reasonable price. Seasonal special ingredients. Super tasty.

Incredible food and great dining experience. Went for the four course taster meal paired with wine for each course (even had three extra tasters from the kitchen). Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and talked us through each dish and glass of wine. Would definitely recommend!

A place which writes it is open till 2300 but refuses customers at 22:10 when the restaurant is empty doesnt worth a try. The senior staff member even tried to convince the pretentious chef but I could hear all the way to the entry "No. Kitchen is closed"I am adding my picture of the opening hours to prove my point. What a shame.
