Without doubt, a restaurant worth visiting in Turku both for meat and seafood lovers. Although they very busy, they managed to seat and serve 6 persons without reservation. Good food and fast service - a table of 6 enjoyed their tasty lunch (salad + main coursein about an hour.

Nice restaurant at the top of a local bar. A bit dark, but somehow still quite nice and has that steakhouse-feel to it. Food was really good, not necessarily comparable to actual world-class steakhouses, but for a Finnish place this was perfect to this price-point. Service was friendly too!

This restaurant was said to be the best steak restaurant in Turku. The restaurant represents very traditional (old schoolstyle with the dark interior design and salad buffet. Service was friendly and considerate. I ate the classic steak and it was worth its prize. My wish, medium rare, was perfectly cooked. The red wine, recommended in the list, was great also. I took one star away because of minor tidiness issues. Overall nice experience - and I recommend the place.

Years visited here and Pippurimylly never left unsatisfied. Traditional dishes like Peppersteak.

Recommended for restaurant list. Food was perfect. And the interior atmosfer was great. Its place in the second floor, first floor is bar but can order food from the restaurant.

The food was quite plain and very overpriced. The vegetables and potato sides were not great and the pizzas small and average tasting. For that price you should definitely get something thats at least better than the French fries or vegetables from the frozen section at the grocery store.The salad bar was average but the main dish was pretty tasty even though they did get my order wrong (they offered to remake it but I didnt have time to wait for that). The size of the main dish was small if you dont count the very plain tasting potatoes and vegetables that covered half of the plate. The desserts were great.The service was below average and the waitress appeared to be in a bad mood and not friendly at all.

Love the steak!Really good quality of meat and good cooking that makes the great steak!It’s really tasty with the seasoning of different peppers.The salad buffet comes with the main course which is a good deal.They also offer kid menu which is really thoughtful. They have normal kid menu and even a smaller portion for smaller kids. Love the idea!There are also toys that you could borrow for your kids and that is a real life savior so that we got to avoid the screaming.There’s a diaper changing table on the women side and that’s a bit sad because fathers would love to change the diapers for kids as well.Really family friendly restaurant with fantastic food!

This is a classic steakhouse in Turku, pretty much the same quite casual concept for a couple of decades now - and that is a good thing!Menu is very classic with the core of the menu built on steaks. The steaks are very good and well made, classic Finnish style with strong peppersauce. There are also many other dishes on the menu, including vegetarian options, so also non steak eaters can have a good time here.Wines are usually good and fits well with the main dishes. Also beer menu is good, if there was anything to wish for it would be some local beers from micro- or nano-breweries, but the options on menu are well selected.Service is good, atmosphere is casual and overall welcoming. Its worth a visit while in Turku!

The place was packed full of people, extremely loud for such a small place. Waiters were very stressed and rude, probably because they were overworked with a small locale full of people. It was so loud, they even got the order wrong.Hamburger was on par with Hesburgers mega hamburger, so not really worth the 15 euros. Creme brüle was watery and light. Other portions I saw resembled school lunch, so nothing that justifies spending upwards of ~24 euros on.

Price was moderate. Depending on the dish, food was nice-looking, but some of the dishes may be a bit sad-looking. Hamburger dishes looked excellent and the most expensive meat dishes looked ok. Not a special experience otherwise. Taste was okay, not very special. I would recommend hamburger dishes, if you want something extra looking and tasting.I would give extra points and special recommendation to enjoy a cup of coffee after dining. Coffee cups were very special and nice looking - coffee was served in a very special copper coffee pot

A little on the more expensive side but its worth it. Had my wedding dinner there. The staff is very polite, the food is gorgeous and absolutely delicious.

The place is bit of out dated. Interior is straight out of late 80s and the menu from the 90s (not in a cool way. Just out dated way). You can find plenty of better restaurants in Turku from the prize-quality of food perspective. Cozy place though.

The place ok. But the Wienerwalz was tasteless. Even if it was stuffed with cheese and ham. Had to put on salt and pepper.

I visited this restaurant after 24 years I have been away. And surprice the same good service like in the past. The top notch in Turku. Reservation recomended.

Friendly and responsive service, good salad bar, reasonable priced and well balanced, though not overloaded menue.Salmon soup was excellent, main course (beef and mushroumsquite good, helpings are large enough for a hungry man.Definitely worth walking for 20 min from the center - mostly local guests.

Took another go from few years back and if last time not everything were perfect, now it was. Kind and professional staff who serves just the right way. I liked the way our waitress politely asked if wed want the next dish soon or give it a little time for stomach to settle.Food was perfect. Our fish and steak dishes were just perfectly cooked! Absolutely nothing to complain. The taste of the dish sauces were imaginary well flavoured.Finally the creme brulee at the end and perfect toasted coffee top noched our evening. Thanks for the great relaxing escape of the dullness of our dark week days.Youre doing it right!

This is the place to be if you like your steaksThere is fantastic self service salad bar with a large selection which good enough as a meal by itself.The steaks are fantastic and the choices very varied for instance you can choose size and pepper level of the pepper steaksThe service is very fast and main course arrived within minutes after we finished startersPrices are excellent as far as food drinks were a bit pricy but had a wonderful evening out

Best basic food serving restaurant in Turku. Been eating there since 1976, never left the place as disappointed but happy and stomach full of good food. Salad table is awesome.

The most iconic common peoples steak place. The service is good and the atmosphere takes you to the 1970s. Food is afordable but good.
