Restaurant Persépolis in Sherbrooke

It was my first experience at Perspolis Restaurant. We booked our places over the phone. I ordered Soltani. The beef stake(Kabab Bargwas very soft and tasty, I will try that again for sure. The portion was good for me, The design and the side salad and rice were also very good. The chicken was also tasty and well cooked. We tried the Shivid Baghala as well. The shank itself was delicious but its rice was missing the Baghala. We told the staff and their reaction was very nice and they offered a bowl of rice which I like it. Because the problem with criticizing sometimes is that some restaurants react very badly and they dont accept it.I didnt like the grilled tomato beside my dish as it was raw.what I liked the most about the place was that it has a quiet and nice atmosphere. The staff was friendly and nice.The ice cream however wasnt the best. It should not come with chocolate on top as it is a traditional style and it wasnt very rich in taste or at least not what I expected but the baklava was perfect.Im giving 5 star because overall I loved my experience there including food, vibe and calmness.

Exotiques pour nous. Échantillons disponibles pour goûter avant la commande finale. Prix raisonnables. Assaisonnements très satisfaisant. Personnel attachant. Faites toutefois attention à ne pas exagérer votre envie pour les boissons nouvelles, certaines pourraient venir dans un format que vous ne finirez pas.

After all the reviews, we decided to go here. We are Iranians and know the cuisine. But the food was just not fresh at all, tasted like it was old meat warmed up. The staff was friendly, so thats one positive thing. But we think there are much better persian restaurants, didnt enjoy it at all. Maybe it just a bad day or sth, but we wont come again. Unfortunately.

So delicious 😍 the quality is so good and the people are very nice as well. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place as well as high quality food. The prices are reasonable as well😉

It was my second visit. Before Covid it was delicious Persian fare. Post-Covid it was even better! Charming hosts and dark decor makes for a excellent dining experience.

Persian cuisine for the foodies out there! A welcome way to break the two-year hiatus from restaurants due to The Virus.We arrived at 6:00 and plunged into a world of saffron and mint. The tea is a good way to start on a cool summer night: lavender, cardamom and possibly mint. Refreshing! For starters, we had an appetizer plate. A tasty foreshadowing of the main courses.My friend had the lamb which he reported to be superb. My chicken plate was grilled to perfection. The saffron rice was tastefully presented. More excellent tea to top things off.Service courteous and friendly. English spoken without hesitation or contempt. A must visit if you are new to the area or just passing through.

The food was bland no taste at all bread was old the price was expensive for the quality of the food $17 appetizer plate was a joke made for little people of lilipoot over all I will never go backThe only thing good was the lady who served us she was very kind and generous I have to thank her .But the food is no goog.

Beautiful restaurant, the designer had a very good taste in picking the colors and all the stuff, the food was the closest to real Persian cuisine so far, very delicious and good quality, the portions are just right, nothing to waste and no reason to overeat , the staff are very friendly and kind... I wish we had a restaurant like that in Montreal, but it totally worth the trip

Magnifique découverte à Sherbrooke !!! Des assiettes superbes et généreuses, des mets où les épices flattent le palais sans lagresser, un très bon service et cest un "apportez votre vin" !!! Tout pour plaire !! La terrasse est grande mais le décor intérieur apporte aussi à lexpérience. Jy retournerai, hiver comme été !!

Never been deceived by this restaurant, their Kebab are very very good and the rice is so good as well!

We walked in said hello and we were asked if we wanted an English menu. Our waitress & waiter spoke excellent English as well. Very helpful. We ordered the classic combo (for 2which included salad, potato wedges, rice,We came on a Tuesday after a long day at the zoo, with a couple of hungry and tired children.

This place is very good. Different kind of food but dont fear trying it. The Decor is splendid. Bring your own wine is a Big plus !

Service was so slow. My food arrived, and because it was a stew, I expected the meat to be tender. Quite the opposite. Came with a tomato broth that was so acidic it tasted like vomit, and the meat was tough and tasteless. Expected more spices. Very bland and unappetizing. Could not eat my meal and instead shared with someone else at my table. Kebab was fine. Appetizer soup tasted just like yogurt sauce, kind of like a salad. Not great. Served room temperature, not hot at all. Additionally I expected the rice to be aromatic. It was hard and dry. The only good part was the dessert. Ice cream was flavorful and warm with spices. Such a disappointing restaurant experience.

Great friendly service; our server spoke English and helped us understand the menu (& she has English menus ordered that will arrive soon). She and the chef are co-proprietors. The food was good. We had never had Iranian food before so it was a nice experience. They are able to accommodate special dietary requests & guide you to menu items that are safe.

A group of 4 gathered at this lovely place to eat great food. The meal was great! But the service was even better! Farnaz was our waitress and she really knows to give an incredible experience! Persian (Iranianrestaurant in Sherbrooke managed by a persian couple. Here I explained you our experience:We were 7 reserved a table since 2 weeks before. We arrived in time and there were only 2 waitresses on the floor, one of them filled out glasses in the beginning and then we were waiting for 30 minutes that someone come to our table and take order.We finally took the manager to ask her that we are ready to order. She said because you were waiting for long time Ill try to bring your orders fast. And it was fast, she brought them in 5 minutes.Im persian and I found the dishes acceptable but not the best representative of persian food!! Dont even try the ice cream, it has nothing to do with the traditional persian ice cream and far away from that!!!The worst thing is the service, they definitely need more people on the floor to not leave the clients on their own for long time...!!But good effort and I wish you progress more and more in your domain.

I had the vegetarian kebab which was delicious. I wish they had more vegetarian options. The dining atmosphere was cozy and elegant. The service was polite and helpful. It was a very nice evening meal that didnt break the budget. Id go again

Incredible food, impeccable service, and superb decor. Super reasonably priced because Sherbrookois undervalue Middle Eastern food but thats about the only reason its so cheap. You can tell the owner is proud of the restaurant and of Iranian food! The baklava is AMAZING.

Good place to try Iranian cuisine. In every principal dish they have balance food including the salad. The drink doogh made of yogurt and ment is really nice but if you are drinking for first time then try it before ordering. Ambience is really nice.
