Restaurant Normandin in Sherbrooke

Well it was understaffed and they did warn me...I didnt like the food 4 star coz i chose to stay after been warn.

As usual, the food was good and the price for the whole family was very reasonable. However, the service was very very slow.

Burnt toast, broken plates, took over an hour and messed up our orders.

Great service. Huge menu. I had the traditional tourtiere a loie which was delicious. My in-laws enjoyed their cheeseburgers. This is a Molson driven beer menu but it fortunately had 2 options from Trou de Diable and one selection from Brasseur de Montreal. My sugar pie to finish was perfect. Poutine a la General Tao! Are you kidding me? My kids are getting that next time.

I showed up with a team from school and they handed us a pre made menu with only 4 items and no vegetarian nor vegan options. When we asked to have some vegetarian options we were told that the manager wouldnt allow it. We managed to get the food 2 hours after we got there and even though the food was pretty good the salad was warm and the fries cold. I only do not recommend this place to anyone so many places around that offer better food

I was pleasantly surprised as I had fairly low expectations for this chain. The menu is huge, thus I am not sure how many items are actually good since a huge menu tends to be a bad sign but I had a pizza & salad combo which was quite good. The size of the meal was just right, nothing went to waste and I was full but not overly so and the staff was very friendly. They also have a really nice outdoor space and a variety of drinks. Not my first choice but for a generic chain I was quite pleased especially at a good price.

Ive been going there (and well servedfor over 15 years and Im only 24! Ive seen a lot of staff throughout these years, some who do a great job and some less but, Ive always wanted to go back because overall that is a restaurant that holds itself well together, it has only gotten better over the years. A great service, great variety of meals, great prices, (and good looking waitresses, objectively and subjectively hahah!). Want a good place to go with (afriend(sor family, go there you wont regret.

It was Christmas day all the waitresses were dressed christmasy. I had the fillet of fish. It was one of the best Ive ever had.

Picture a office cafeteria on steroids, well that pretty much what Normandin is. Good friendly service, but the food is simply ok, nothing to rave about other than their desserts. If it wasn’t for their desserts, I would rate Normandin as a 2.5 Stars.

Nice family-style restaurant. We were pleased that our waitress spoke both French and English. They have English menus too (upon request).

The food is good, but waiting takes way longer than in other restaurants...

OK, but somewhat slow service

Just like my rating, it was okay. Okay staff and okay food. Staff could have been friendlier and food could have tasted way better. Not so memorable. Bathrooms nice and clean and thats probably the only thing I liked about the restaurant, also separate bathroom to change your baby which is great.

Service can be slow, depends when you go. If its busy, theyre likely to forget a few more things compared to other places. Other than that, its a nice restaurant

Fast-food quality with restaurant prices...to avoid!

The food is always good, however they do have some recurrent problems in delivering the exact things that I order. The waitresses are nice and will fix the problems on your receipt, however.

Pizza is one of their specialty. Not salty and the bread doesnt hardened as it cools down. I like it as they prepare and serve.

Good food and atmosphere. Very nice in main dining area and they have a really nice outdoor patio. The service was good when we visited, but did seem under staffed with one waitress seating, serving, and running take out counter. Had the mini pizza combo with a cesear.

Slow service, waiter is overwhelmed, breakfast looked like it was under the heater for 30 minutes.

Food are ok but do not take their burgers. They are too dry and not good.

I always like a good Normandin and this is a good one. Like most, the food is slow, but not terrible. Its more relaxed than your typical Normandin as well.

Food is really good, but we wait too much for our food. The restaurant wasnt full so theres no excuses!

I came here on two occasions. The first was good 4.5 / 5 the staff spoke enough English for us to not have any problems. The food was good both times. On the second occasion the service was deplorable 0 / 5 we waited over 45 minutes after we ordered to get our food. The server didnt check in on us once after we got our food. The food didnt come out all at the same time. Half the table (3 of usgot their food and were finished eating before my food was brought to the table.
