Strange Business?After calling for reservation and leaving a message on the german speaking answering machine with our telephone number and reservation, we got no answer. We was to times by the restaurant but nobody was there. The opening hours and menu was on the billboard but the restaurant was closed.

The egg rolls are the best. This is also President Trumps favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Greenland. A must for any visit.

Cozy restaurant serving Greenlandic food with nice elevated views. Menu selection isnt big but has good meat or fish options. Top tip: Though booking is encouraged by locals, it is still possible to get a walk in table if your group is relatively small (4 or less)

Ristorante molto carino di cucina tipica groenlandese. A vederlo da fuori il locale non sembra particolarmente curato, in realtà una volta entrati la location è molto bella. Noi abbiamo optato per il menù "tapas" che prevede un assaggio delle principali specialità locali.Se volete venire per cena è quasi obbligatorio prenotare in anticipo.Prenotando potete anche richiedere un tavolo nella terrazzina panoramica.

Nettes Restaurant mit guten Blick ( wenn man reserviert hat und Fensterplatz bekommt). Kleine Speisekarte mit grönländischer Küche. Essen ist ok aber nicht herausragend.

Godt spisested - og du kan få lækre og autentiske grønlandske delikatesser. Men find noget andet godt på spisekortet, hvis du alligevel ikke er klar til den ramme smag af sælsuppe eller råt hvalspæk.

This restaurant is outstanding. We didnt know what to expect from the outside, as it looks like an old wooden building covered in snow. However, when we went in we found a 5-star dining experience like no other. Our chef was also our waiter and spent time with us explaining each dish. The menu made me a bit nervous at first, but the food was incredible. I had the halibut with curry sauce and baked apples, and some dream cake for dessert. The chef was kind, funny, and very welcoming to our group! If I ever make it back to Greenland, this place will be my first stop. :)

We stopped by for lunch after hiking near the Ilulissat ice fjord, and came back for dinner later. Marmatut is the cuteness of Ilulissat wrapped into one place. The food and view are outstanding. Youll leave happy. Tip: call ahead for dinner.

Min mand og jeg var på Restaurant Mamartut på vores bryllupsdag 1/7 2016. Det var nok en af de mest sublime restaurantoplevelser, vi har haft! Det var simpelthen eminent godt.
