In the middle of the city of Djibouti, you can taste the real Asian food here and you will be amazed to see so many kinds of dishes like Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese,,, owner is very friendly and can guide you in many languages including Amharic. Great place to enjoy exotic atmosphere!

The place is quite and clean the staff members are accommodating. Especially If you are from Ethiopia they can assist you in Somali and Amharic Language.

Cozy bar and serves good food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. During my short stay here, I visited this place twice, and definitely visit again on my next trip to Djibouti.

Tasty food & great service

The steak and fries on this visit was the best I have had at this restaurant. Perfectly cooked, meat was very tender. Great flavor.

Bar et restaurant.Pour la partie bar, elle est sympas, joliment décoré. En semaine cest calme (ça change des boites de nuit aux sons infernal).Compter 1000-1500 fr (5-7eurosla bière servie avec chips.Jaime bien ce lieux.

The restaurant is clean and well known for the meat stake. I tried the chicken cream with french fries and separately ordered tomato salad (it was expensive salad indeed). I did not know that I can get the same salad as a side dish to the chicken, it would have saved me alot of money,. Anyways, it is good that they serve the fried crunshes for free lol. I would not try this place again unless I crave for the stake. BR Lolah :)

Good food excellent service

In an over-prized restaurants scene, La Chaumiere is an excellent choice for eating good food in a relatively smoke-free environment with attentive service. Food choices cover European and Asian cuisine, and offered sufficient variety for my one-week stay. Try the soups; they are actually very tasty. Furthermore, they have one of my favorite Belgian white beers on draft; a fact that created dramatic attraction after a day of work. The service is fast and friendly. And, the second time here you actually get some shy smiles. Once I found this place, I barely went elsewhere. The most outstanding point, which may be positive or negative, is: They have no WiFi. I liked it a lot.

Located in Menelik Square. It has a guard at the entrance. Very well trained staff, professional and polite . Extraordinary good food. Nice interior design. Good drinks. Good music. Inexpensive. Worth a drive to eat there. The pepper steak was perfect. Dont miss it!

Great choices of international food. Try their soups as they are the best in Djibouti. Very good staff serving with and in a professional manner. The place can be cozy. Prices are balanced both in terms of food and drinks.

Nice place to relax and have dinner or just a drink with a terrace. Delicious Chinese food. Reasonable prices compared to many places in Djibouti. Definitely recommend.

I found the restaurant to be mediocre at best. The bar staff were not as hospitable as I would expect and very unpleasant. Service is average. I have visited the place on several occasions.

Nice place to relax and enjoy dinner with friends. Several good dishes. Grilled meat plate was my go-to choice. Prices are reasonable considering the Djiboutian market... (Djibouti prices are much higher than United States)
