Restaurant Ichi - Japanese restaurant in Ðà Lạt, Vietnam
This restaurant is kind of a hit or miss. We order five different dishes, three of them were delicious and the other two average/poor. In general good place, nice atmosphere and plenty of option.
Good selection of food at a very reasonable price. 👍
Its a nice place, the food is delicious, after long time I ate something which has some taste in Vietnam.
Located in heart of city area, great food and service. Recommendation!
This place used to have very good quesadillas and good enough pizza, but their new chef and/or ingredients are low quality and I had to throw away this food. They used that fake cheddar cheese made from oil stuff in both the quesadilla and pizza. Really surprised. Used to be good food.
Ordered the Fried Chicken with mash potatoes and veggies. My wifes meal was brought out , but mine was still lacking. After waiting for a long time, a different waitress came out and gave my chicken to another table. The only reason I found this out was the table was complaining that they got the wrong order.By now, my wife had eaten her dinner and I was still waiting for mine. When I finally received my meal, the mash potato was dry and not creamy at all. They probably used an ice cream scooper to make it pretty. They need to bring the whole table order to the table at one time and not piece meal it. Another table was distraught for that same reason.
Delicious and good atmosphere, cute cat :-)
Nice European atmosphere, comfortable sofas. If you a tired of Vietnamese food and small chairs, visit this place. Prices are high
Great lasagna and good Hawaiian pizza with thin crispy crust. Lots of cheese on both. Yum!
Lovely place for both food and drinks, great friendly staff whom speak English, excellent value for money. The New York Pizza is a must!
Amazing experience with the western food here the service is wonderful with friendly staff and jazz music also live piano at the evening HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HEREps they do delivery and it quick
V Cafe is open again after the quarantine, great place for food and drinks. Clean and staff is professional. when happy hour finish it starts at the escape bar just up the road where the party continue. Higly recomend
Not recommended. western place with western prices. I had a breakfast there, which was a fried egg with bread... and a coffee, according to the price I thought it was enough, 😶😧 it was not enough... this can happen🙏✌ but when I asked (rhetorical questionthe staff what kind of coffee it was because it lacked taste. they reacted very uninterested... instant coffee for a western price😑 they dont put any effort in their product👎😲 no question whatsoever😱😂 I didnt finish the coffee, got up hungry, the lady what served us was Not Friendly! Thumbs 👎 for this place!
Amazing food! Great english speaking staff and menu as well! Couldnt have asked for a better Valentines dinner
Charming atmosphere! Jazz music and a delicious lunch. Wonderful springrolls, savory ginger chicken and a tasty shrimp and vegetable dish.
Of all the Western breakfast places I have eaten in Da Lat this is the closest. It also offers street side seating as well as a pretty cool interior. Hell, even the waitress had that grumpy diner waitress vibe which I appreciated after being cater to everywhere else.
Food was just ok ( panecake was very dry without any honey yoghourt, egg with cheese had just one slice of processed cheese).coffee was instant and definitely overpriced for Vietnam(almost same price as in North America).Place not recommended.
We ordered lasagna and Mac and cheese. The lasagna was nice, the Mac not so much, basically 70% cheese. Prices are very high, between 125-135 for a main course dish. I also suspect the food was microwaved since our plates where on fire and served on top of a cold plate.Staff was nice and helpful.
Lunch was arranged by our private tour group with a set meal. Food was good with local vegetables. Restaurant has seatings both indoor and outdoor. There’s live music during dinner but I’m not sure if it’s only on weekends.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was delicious and the waiters were friendly and kind.
Delicious food and friendly staff combined with a lovely ambience make V Cafe a great place to eat in Da Lat. The cafe serves various Italian, Mexican and Vietnamese dishes. Amongst them are good vegetarian options. The prices aren’t bad either:). V Cafe offers seats in and outside but outside is quit loud because of the loud road next to it. I would personally recommend the cannelloni because it tastes amazing :)
Sitting area is nice, quaint and clean, appealing to tourists. There is a local cat who is very cute. The staff is friendly and polite. However, we were unlucky today as there was only one server. We had to wait for at least 30 minutes for our meal to come. The cappuccino was bland and not even closely resembling a cappuccino. The phở was also bland; it tasted like flavoured boiled water. The music they put does not really add and fit to the atmosphere, it’s mostly pop or pop covers. One positive thing from the meal would be the French bread I ordered; very tasty.
V Cafe is great. A good combination of Vietnamese and Western dishes.
Cosy bar/bistro hybrid thats been around for a long time. Its a great place for some comfy quiet afternoon drinks. Happy hour is from 4-6 and its a steal for cocktails. Their frozen strawberry margaritas are especially tasty. Theres a huge menu of mostly Western dishes at reasonable prices. I wouldnt go there for the food necessarily, but their lasagne is decent
Weve been here 3 times during our stay in Da Lat. A nice, cozy ambience with warm lights, beautiful and subtle music being played on the piano by a young musicians and great choice of food on their menu. Their portions are very generous indeed. Two of us struggled to finish one serving of their curry with a serving of rice. Great place
Service was good. We have take two main dishes chicken with smashed potatoes and beef steak. Beef steak been made from bad peace of meat, that’s why poor ratings. Beef steak has been chosen by employee recommendation.
Cosy decor, an excellent piano player, and an extensive menu of Western and Asian-style dishes make this popular among visiting foreigners. I enjoyed the pork chops and mash, and the pizzas looked good too.
Amazing food, live piano music and good service. The prices are not expensive at all. Totally decomend to visit!
Highly recommend this restaurant. Good food, friendly staff who speak adequate English, relaxing live and recorded music. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit there.
great place, came here multiple times for breakfast and dinner. they have an impressive breakfast selection and serve it probably all day, great taste and very nice portions, especially when you consider the low price its crazy what big of a meal you get :the normal menu is very western-oriented and they have basically something for everyone and also enough vegetarian choices :all I had tasted nice, nothing extraordinary, but a good meal, especially considering its so reasonably priced and western food in dalat. very friendly staff and incredibly quick service. can recommend going here!
Very nice place ! Maybe one only bad point : plastic straw to drink juice (please try to serve without plastic straw for the environnement, or at least ecofriendly straws lile bamboo, grass or rice straws. A lot of coffe shops do that)
I happen to come by here by chance, but I came back because of the excellent service. The servers are super friendly, the food is great and reasonably price. I even got a chance to have a conversation with the owner who to my surprise was a very humble and lovely lady. I may be in Da lat for vacation but if I ever come back, I would definitely come back here again.
Good place, with huge menu list, stilysh interior, friendly staff speaking english well. They accept cards.Ive tasted spring rolls with shrimps and avocado salad - both were vere tasty. Then drank americano with carrot cake - lousily, it was better not to do it.Total - good place.
Nice dishes and very friendly staff. Good for meal while waiting for the bus.
I visited this lovely place that is near to the famous Dalat Night Market in early Oct 2018. First big plus, it is "comforting" to find a place where staff can communicate effectively in English. This place offered a nice range of local and international food fare. I was recommended by the lady boss Ms Thuy "the V Cafe salad with additional avocado toppings" and it was very good! The avocado was a great addition and when mixed with the salad, bacon, it offered a nice, creamy contrast to the crunch. With this, there was also a nice sauce on the side. We also ordered the crispy Vietnamese spring roll with prawn. It was really nice, crispy on the outside and soft, tender on the inside. Add the sweet (not too spicychilli sauce on the side, it was such a nice bite.In fact, I was there for 2 days in a roll. I ordered their sweet corn chicken soup and it was nice, creamy with nice texture coming from both the sweet corn and the shreds of chicken. The soup was rich with hints of sweetness from the corn. highly recommended with the bread which was served together. They have a small bar but is stocked adequately with various wine (including local wine), drinks, alcohol. On top of this, they also have a nice (dailylive music: acoustic set in a cosy setting. It was a great time to mingle with folks from different nationalities including Singapore, New Zealand, USA, Vietnam, Philippines, Zimbabwe .. ...Lovely place with lovely food, guests, music. Great recipe for success. High recommended.
Inside bar very smell cooking good. And If you not eat something just order cocktail. . You cant sit at table can sit only counter cashier.Bad severice
I went for the live blues music and probably should have eaten before I went. Ordered spring rolls expecting home-made Vietnamese spring rolls, but sadly got what looked and tasted like commercial mass-produced frozen spring rolls. Would not eat there again, but the music was excellent.
Great atmosphere with jazz playing in the background. The menu has a good variety of food to choose from! The staff are awesome and friendly. It was surprising to be offered a drink and given time to choose from the menu (what I’m use to in Canadathey also brought out the appetizer before the main course. Would come back again!
Small, cozy restaurant with plenty of different yummy food options (The beef steak is deliciousthe staff were sweet, and attentive. The guy that regularly plays music there, Reymond, is a great musician and a joy to listen to.Lovely place to have dinner, drink wine, and enjoy the music
Great salads and wine (specially the chicken saladKind service.
If youre looking for an American or Italian cuisine, look no further than here. Happy hour is buy one get one free (for each person3-6:30.
Its a little higher than road , no worry dustPrice is reasonableFresh juice better than from boxClean and service is fastPs: we visit it at 12:30 in February.
Nice, warm atmosphere. The food take quite a while to come up. Im not into western style food but I guess its quite good. Waiter seems to be paying no attention at all. We have to ask 3 times for the bill.
Service is professional. Servers recommend their house specials without having to ask. Foods’ delicious, fresh and great value for money. Thumbs up 👍
Good western food with many choices. Had the fish and chips which was enjoyable with Saigon beer. Our server was very sweet and funny to chat with
Average food and setting. Prices are a bit expensive for what it was. Average all together
good drink while view to street, have live music at night
A nice restaurant with a good jazz music decor. I had the vegetable soup, followed by pork chops. Great meal at a reasonable price. Good live music from Filipino couple. A bit cool for sitting outside in DaLat right now but inside there are two cosy rooms. Staff good. Will go there again.
I found the food to be delicious and thats pretty much an understatement. Had wine along with my meal, Trésor and its one of the best house wine Ive tasted. The restaurant was cozy and there was live music in the evening.
Standard for Dalat small restaurant, but with non-standard theme of live blues music. Nice. Menu - mixture of V. and European food, so you have a choice. Definitely recommend.
