Restaurant Haru Sushi - Sushi restaurant in Helsinki, Finland
Food was great, had a big buffeet that had lots of great choices that all was fresh, however the locale had poor acoustics so all conversations was shared with everyone else.
The best shushi i had in a long time, best value for money you can find. All shushi was fresh and delicious, tasty cakes and coffee for desert included.
Good value, tasty buffet. Lunchtime eating is a better deal than evening.
Sushi is good, price is affordable and the ambience and space is comfortable and quiet.
I don’t usually think of sushi + buffet as words that should go together but this place is a gem. Frequented by locals in the know, I guess it can make sense when you’re this close to the sea!
To be very honest, I was a bit skeptical about the good review. I went there yesterday for the first time and learned I was wrong ! The sushi was fresh (they frequently served fresh sushi in the buffet). And most importantly, the sushi rice was great. (In Europe in often times, sushi rice is dried up with horrific taste, so I tend to be extremely careful when I have to eat Sushi outside of my country. However, this one was authentic). Highly recommended💯 If possible, its great if you add IKURA (salmon eggsand UNI (sea urchinin the menu ☺️💛
It’s the first time that we are totally satisfied by the dessert as much as the buffet. Amazing offer, fresh and tasty food!If you are in Helsinki, keep this place in mind and you won’t regret it.
Quality of food is good, but staff are extremely rude. I have never encounterd anyone in Helsinki who wasn’t super nice- ever! The girl wearing the black mask who is coughing with the greasy hair- perhaps take a shower before you go to work? She kept staring at me and giving me dirty looks why? I was very slow with my eating bc I’m on a diet and I have not had a buffet in months. Everything I took was 3 at a time and I ate a lot of salads. I didn’t really know what was inside or what I could eat.I’m so sorry I’m not a person who takes 15 pieces of sushi and eats it in 15 minutes- my stomach had difficulty digesting just one salad plate. They were saying goodbye and thank you to everyone and when I left they said nothing but just gave more dirty looks.I have traveled the world times ten and had real sushi in Japan- don’t ever look at me or treat me like I’m some criminal. There are many sushi buffets in Helsinki go to Foku- they have respect for their customers and they don’t cough all over the Buffett. You want to stare huh? Now you can stare at this review 😊
Great location and set up. Not overly fussy but sushi is unbelievably good for the price. Good options, all fresh and enough choice to keep you interested. Couldnt fault it.
Great place and great sushi! Might get busy at lunch time so be read to have many people in there!
What an amazing discovery Haru has been.Very delicious sushi, friendly staff and the best price/quality ratio I have ever had in such a place.I would love to come back when in Helsinki again!
AYCE buffet for not too much money. Sushi was super fresh and yummy. Highly recommended!
Good price and tasty sushi in different variations - definitely worth trying
A place that offers great food, a great service and all you can expect from a sushi restaurant! The buffet is a must try !;
A small place with relaxing ambient and rather busy at lunch time. Sushi buffer is so fancy and the taste is higher than my expectation. If the dessert is more diverse. It becomes more excellent. I will turn back for sure.
Surprisingly good sushi rolls and nigiris, buffet includes miso soup, teriyaki chicken, beef, soft drinks, coffee, some pie for deserts, and even watermelon. So the price is more then adequate.
Great quality sushi, delicious selection and soft drinks are included. Best sushi buffet Ive been to in Helsinki, and affordable as well!
Great sushi, really fresh and tasty. Staff super friendly, fast service and fair price!
Excellent sushi buffet and fast service, we got to the door, paid and got a table, all that in less than a minute 🤩 The price is fair, the drinks are included and they refilled the sushi often 🍣
This is one of the best lunch deals in Helsinki. For €13.90 you get a full range of Sushi, various soft drinks, soda, green tea, coffee and some cookies. Lunchtime is 11am to 5pm. You cannot get better value for money. The food is authentic and really delicious. Many of the customers seem to be young adults.
Simply one of the best sushi places in Helsinki. Good authentic sushi and lots of variety. Only minus is small size and popularity with sushi aficionados making it full during rush hours. Highly recommended.
Nice place for an all you can eat sushi! Fresh, clean and good location
My wife and I come here many times whenever we would like to enjoy sushi 🍣. Sushi here are fresh and mount watering, the lemongrass beef here is unique and deserve a try.The restaurant may get crowded so I recommend you call to reserve table especially in summer time.
Probably best sushi ever. And amazingly, at a good price. Recommended
I had an excellent experience during lunch today. Definitely some of the best sushi I’ve had… Ever! Great value, great variety, and friendly staff. Unlimited sushi, soft drinks, and dessert included for less than 25 EUR for two people. 11 out of 10.
As an American, I think this buffet could easily give the ones back home some serious competition. Firstly, the word buffet can often times have a negative connotation, but this is not the case here. The sushi was fresh, and the value you get is incredible. Up to 30 different rolls or Nigiri. Appetizers, soup, salads, coffee, tea, soft drinks, dessert! All this for €15.90 dinner when we went on a Wednesday evening. The staff is also hard working and very kind. Would recommend to locals and tourists alike, as I feel its a cannot miss spot!
Tastes fantastic! Very good sushi variety. Also salads, soup, desserts as well as cold and hot drinks are included into the all you can eat offer. They even have chewing gum! Very friendly and lovely team. Can absolutely recommend this restaurant to everybody.
I was quite hesitant that the place only has a small buffet line but once I sat and tried their food, I think it was well worth it. Food is full in flavor and the selection is actually more than enough. Tuna sushi was fresh. Great value for money, especially for evening sushi buffet. Would recommend reserving your seat for busy hours, it’s busy here 😉Ps. Try their beef salad, it’s amazing!
Loved it. Good value for what you get. Fresh sushi, variety, and drinks included. I would definitely go back when in Helsinki.
Seems to be one of the secret spots of the city. The restaurant was crowded when we arrived. Sometimes it was hard to get pass the people and tables to get to the buffet. A buffet of various sushi including a lot of salmon but also tuna and some other fish in different varieties and some starters and salads as well. Amazing marinated beef strips! (maybe a slight vietnamese touch? Many of the sushi types were topped with the same sauces (mayo and teriyaki i guesswhich unfortunately made a lot of the different sushi items taste very similar and sometimes overpowered the taste of the fish. Which i found very astonishing was that in the already very good price of about 16€ for the buffet, drinks were also included!! So far i saw it included tab water, softs and coffe! So all in all definitely a very tasty experience with a good price/value ratio
Good delicious Buffet for 16 Euro with Coffee and Softdrinks incl.. A little bit less space in the the Restaurant
Their lunch offer is absolutely amazing and well worth (even more thanthe price! I had the medium sushi set for takeout during covid lockdown. One of the best sushis I’ve had especially for this price point.
11,90 for lunch sushi buffet, which is a great deal considering that the sushi is well made.15,90 Weekends/Evenings.Tasty food but hygiëne needs to be improved. The chairs need also to be padded.THE GOODI loved few simple sushi types, the mint flavored water was a nice surprise and the staff was friendly. You can get free soft drinks, these I dont drink personally but it is anyway a plus point. The kitchen is open and visible, thats definitely positive.THE BADNoisy chairs without padding. The staff working with food has loose hair and this is not hygienic at all. Many sushi types have too much sauces. The floor of the place is not in best conditions.BOTTOM LINEGood sushi, even though there is not much except sushi you still can enjoy a great meal.If the hygiëne could be improved I would come back.
Tasty and and good lunch buffet. Especially salad table is different from other restaurants. Tea and dessert were really nice for finishing lunch.
Very good sushi and miso soup. The range variety is limited by buffet table size, but those sushi on it are excellent.
15.90 eur for dinner on Sunday for the buffet. It included drinks and sushi and some dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very clean, tap water on the tables, nice vibes and friendly staff. Its not a fancy place but quite cozy and it doesnt feel crowded. Loved it.
Great sushi buffet with miso soup for starters and blueberry pie as dessert! Haru has become our go-to place for sushi nowadays for the price/quality ratio they offer. 👌
There is a good variety of sushi in the restaurant (such as tuna, salmon, octopus, squid), along with other side dishes. There is also a selection of drinks and dessert to go along with the meal. The staffs were friendly and the food tasted good. It exceeded my expectations for a buffet meal, great value for money!
The best Sushi Buffet in the whole of Helsinki ! I normally dont do buffet esp when it comes to Sushi bc most places are dry and not fresh at all but this Haru place has fresh fish and good rice for sushi. They even have Kimchi Sushi 🤘😍 their side menus are also great ! I very much recommend to go anytime. They have cookies, cakes and coffee for dessert !
Great sushi buffet with very reasonable price. Would love to come back again. Love all the sushi taste.
In a very expensive city you can come here and eat all sushi you can for just a little more than what you spend at McDonalds. Fresh and tasty fish, very good deal overall
One of our favourite places in Helsinki!!! Theres a super fast service!!! Large choice of sushi , they have also vegan rolls! The most delicious sushi in my life. Also a big number of salads, the most tasty with dried tomatoes and feta😍You can find two kids of soup(miso and fish), but they have no bread.Drinks, coffee and tea with sweets are in price.
Decent sushi buffet, albeit not too many options, especially for those that are vegetarian (and especially, vegan). Fish is relatively fresh, but I personally enjoyed a couple other sushi buffets more in Helsinki.
What an amazing little sushi restaurant! Great variety and very delicious! Highly recommended spot for travelers and workers who is looking a good place for a lunch.
We spent only one day in Helsinki and we walked by this little sushi restaurant. We were kinda unsure because it was so cheap but we risked it because it was also crowded. I mean when a lot of people visit a restaurant this has to mean something? It surprised us! The lunch offer costs only 11,90€ also drinks are included! The sushi was fine, the quality was good for this kind of money! The only thing which bothered me is, that it was not chilled. It was open on a buffet. But this is probably no problem because the amount of visitors eats the sushi quickly away :D
Best sushi buffet I have had in Helsinki. Very big variety of different sushi dish. Also vegetarian. Fish tastes like fresh and good quality. There is also salad and miso soup.Price is fair 11,30€ lunch time. Coffee and tea included. Place also has nice view to street and lots of light.
I ate at many sushi places around Helsinki and this is one of my favorites. Lunch sushi buffet for 11,90€ includes 2 soups, variety of tasty sushi, salads, fruit, soda drinks from a tap, coffee/tea and some cookies (in case you will have space for cookies after such a delicious sushi buffet 😊 ). Always friendly staff. No wonder this place is popular.Discovered Haru Sushi during Syö Helsinki week and glad I did. Have eaten there several times already.Drawback: something to do with the acoustics in the place makes it super noisy when customers chatting.
The place was nice and fresh looking (advertisement could be done again, the prices text was a bit unclear from the street)We took sushi buffet (11.90e). There’s a lot of choices between maki rolls, and good nigiri section (also my favourite flamed salmonMiso soup and also salmon soup. you can have sodas with your buffet. Nice new thing was wasabi mayonnaise option or the regular wasabi! There was also Vietnamese summer rolls which I did not taste, and some other options as well.Staff was friendly. They actually eat Ramen themselves which looked delicious. Annoskateus! The plates designed for Haru sushi was a nice touch!but I wish they would not offer tuna.
Theres a good variety of sushi, some salad and soup. The sushi is fresh and tasty, the salad is your average lunch buffet salad. The place is small and cosy, but feels a bit crowded when its full.
Really good sushi, because of seasoning and fresh ingredients. Can not say much about salad table. Cozy place but some of sort of background music could be nice. I would come here again.
