Restaurant Don Candido in Managua

The food was very delicious definitely recommend , it is pretty pricey but you will not regret it. and the staff was just so sweet, i cant wait to come back to Nicaragua i will definitely come here again.

Best steakhouse in Managua

Best steak Ive had in a long time, beats the steaks Ive even had back home in Canada. The service is above and beyond.

The salad we order was not fresh, the food was not good quality and was overprice. The star is for the service, was the only good thing.

Parking was great, private security. We were in the private Galeria Saenz with beautiful artwork. Food was amazing service wonderful. A must visit in Managua.

This place is a five star restaurant. They have private security working and taking care of your car. They have a door man for when you enter the restaurant. The entire place was very clean. The staff was well dressed in their uniforms. Nothing was out of place. They also offer wifi for the traveling junkie that I am. Now to the food I had a splendid porter house steak that was to die for. The veggies were a bit dry but this is the same throughout the entire country. My friend had a beef loin and he said the meat basically melted in his mouth. My other friend had a different cut of the meat not sure what it was but he finished each and every inch of it. All around 5 stars

This is the heaven.

It is a great place if you want to get a real Nicaraguan steak and Angus cuts as well.First try the soup of the house... then go for the a good steak...Nicaraguan cuts: Try the Cucharrasco or the Puyaso, medium term or well done plus veggies and potatoes (the way you preferred).Angus cuts: the usual Ribeye, T-bone or any cut with the nickname "prime"... Great taste, no regrets.Dont forget to ask for a nice bottle of Argentinian or Spanish wine... They have great labels in the winery or cellar, ask for recommendations to the owner of you want something special (not in the menu).

Loved the cuts that we ordered. Their White Zinfandel is very nice. Pasta was nice. Staff was excellent. Private room was great. :)

This place is great, I liked the decoration and its very nice. The portions are good, and they have different prices from 13 USD to around 70 USD, their staple dish is 16 USD and is a fine and tasty Puyaso, you can have a meat refill (ask because I think some restrictions apply, like no ribs refills)

The best restaurant to eat Steaks. The meat is juice, delicious and the service is good. It is a nice place to bring your wife or family to eat here. Do not worry about the price because the amount of meat they will give you is insane. Every time I travel to Nicaragua, This is the only place I go when I want to increase my cholesterol eating Rib eye Steak of other big chunks of meat. I never order wine there for the wine they have are so so. Everything is amazing.

Great restaurant but I think its overpriced. My NY strip had extra fat and nerve trimmings they could have done without. Most dishes lack presentation. Great wine! Great staff!

Recommend for special occasions

Excellent meat, perfect wines, great staff...You have to try melted cheese with chicken sausage...Prices are not so high. Of course its depends you choose. Definitely try. I think its best steak house in Nicaragua.

Good and fancy steak house. Excellent wine collection. You can get better churrasco at Los Ranchos or Porterhouse, but Don Candido will be much better for a special occasion. Also the choice of different cuts on the menu is unmatched. A little pricey.

Best place to eat beaf. Love the interior designs. Customer service is very good. Its a bit pricey but worth it. Desserts are great as well.

Very expensive ! But you get quality beef. It was a rainy night , attendants were waiting for us with umbrellas. We had booked the Cava for 9 people. It was awesome, nice comfortable room. The server was there all the time when we needed him. The only drawback was they charged me for something I did not get, that meant I had to go back for a refund. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

Very expensive place as they claim to have the best quality beef in town. They also let you ask for more servings with no additiinal charge if you havent had your fill.

Excellent service. I went with my dad and mom; The food was delicious and the attention great. Price for tourists is very competitive.
