Employees are SO RUDE! Prices are better at Costco and BJs. Very few items are a good price for resale

Always excellent customer service with sales employees going the extra mile. The cherry picker drivers are often a bit grouchy it seems and are short, however I don’t utilize them often so I shrug their bad moods off. Hah! As for the items in stock, they generally are more often then not. Prices are great compared to other competitors in the same field. I recommend seeing Mrs. Maria when checking out. She’s a great asset to the team!

6.00am appointment doesnt mean anything, three trucks for that time in one door. And its true that they are very rude?

New tall, narrow carts, easier to shop and move through the warehouse!

The lady at the customer service desk with glasses and dark hair is extremely rude. Another lady and myself waited patiently and this employee just kept complaining. She submitted the return wrong as I specifically told her many items were not duplicates and she said “ well I’m putting them in that way so this don’ttake me all day” . I’m sure that messes with the stores inventory. I had a return and she got mad about it( all items were still sealed and packagedshe should be retrained on customer service. Her bad morning should not be taken out on the customers. I’ve been coming here for several years. Next time I see her up front I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Delivery was a challenge. New drivers stay away...backing into door very very very tight

For a delivery Take i65 exit 130 left on 61 for 2 miles or so turn left locust lane, building on left. They like to door shuffle so if you park on one to check in you might get told to move. There are big pot holes at a lot of doors. I took a pic. They are a bit of a struggle. My tires didn’t want to ride back over because it’s pothole on an incline with mud. The two reasons for a nicer review is that this is a store so there’s bathrooms and they are big and clean. What a relief! The lumper fee was decent too. I was out just in time for my next appointment. Tight backing twice made me grumpy but I left mostly happy.

Best place ever. They try very hard to carry the items for regulars as well as special orders. Sometimes employees can be a bit out of sorts but its a pretty demanding job not to mention some customers and you all know who you are can be overly difficult. The managers seem proactive. Also be nice to the cashiers please they probably dont make a great wage. Brad in smallwares can for sure get you all a stove. So go buy a couple. And customers ...stop forgetting your shoppers card. We know you have several and its straight up bulls@!t making a receptionist look it up not once not twice but everytime you dummies come. Then make them the bad guys when they lie saying the printer is broken just so they dont have to reprint for the 100th time or so you all can pass them out like bus passes. Lessons learned. Thank you restaurant depot for eveything!

Wish I could give Zero stars. Our weekly experience is never outstanding because the work culture here is so anti-customer focused but today took the cake. Foul stench of either rotting meat or produce coming out of the refrigerated area. Fouler employees! At least 2 of our items rung up incorrectly and didn’t notice until we had checked out—too distracted by the cashier having a conversation with the manager inside their office that he better not be training anyone today bc he was too tired to do that job. Took my receipt to the front desk to try and get our refund but the process is made to be too difficult that you just feel defeated and give up. The rude lady at the desk told me I can’t go by the price tags bc management won’t honor the prices; that I should go off the receipt. I told her as the customer it isn’t our responsibility to keep up with prices and deal with incorrect tags- RD is a huge corporation and needs to have policies in line to keep up with the ever-changing prices and sales. And if they can’t due to staffing then their policy on adjusting prices should be focused on the customer experience. The manager came over to adjust and asked me where the tags were; said he would have to go get “all the tags” and it would take a while. Basically letting me know it wasn’t worth the time. I said forget it and took my receipt. Then took time out of my day to fetch the tags, brought them to the service desk stating I did their job so hopefully no one else would have tp experience what I did today. Restaurant Depot is robbing business owners! They count on customers not wanting to deal with their employees because we know how awful they are at customer service and just leaving. With inflation as it is we cannot stand for being robbed by a large corporation like RD. I’d rather pay slightly more for better service (or any for that matter!)

Nice variety of various items for any food service business. Very competitive pricing. Definitely worth the time of looking into if you are trying to save a few dollars for your business.

Some of the people there are nice and friendly theres a few I just try to avoid...but when all else fails depo might just have what u need

It is difficult to find items here. None of the aisles are marked the entrances to the freezer arent clearly marked that you are allowed as a customer to go into them. It was a very confusing experience for a first-time customer I had to stop and ask several people where things were. You also have to dodge forklifts while maneuvering isles with the large flat carts.

I was checking out and had an item that was priced strangely. The manager came over and scolded me because I didn’t have the tag off the shelf for the item. I was made to go back and get it like a child even though I had a picture. She wouldn’t even look at it. Turns out it the tag was in the wrong place and it was a slightly different product. If she would’ve just looked at the tag that could’ve been avoided. Completely uncalled for and I called her out. The manager and employees in this location are the worst. They are rude and don’t care. If you absolutely need something, go but if not, run the other way. Much experiences at GFS stores or Costco or Sam’s. At least you won’t get talked down to.

If you get there early dont use doors 1 2 or 4 they dont work they should put up a sign , other wise fast friendly staff in and out cheap lumper service , kinda tight but do able watch the trees.

I delivered there. Its tight but not bad. Fast and friendly on the dock and the cashiers.

A great place for your restaurant food needs. But as everything today because of the current climate certain items are out of stock and no fault of restaurant Depot but just supply chains overall

This Restaurant Depot is located just East of U of L, and South of a huge cemetery. The streets from I-65 are narrow with low trees, and tight corners. Take it easy going in. The street in front of the docks is busy, so be watchful, but local traffic seems to understand and is patient.The crew inside is quick and efficient. I dont think I was there more than 20 minutes.These folks are pros!

Great deals. Friendly staff. Inflation is not resturant depots fault but 5 months ago I could get black Angus filet mignon for 9 bucks a lb. 😘

If they dont have it they check into getting it .... Very nice people look forward every Thursday going to Restaurant Depot to get my stock

Checked in 7 am for 7 am appointment every local daycab show up get unloaded reefer running with open door 11 am he didn’t start unloading yet won’t come in this place again

Worst place ever!! For freezer products you can’t reach.. nobody wants to help you get things out the freezer including the manager ( Philadelphia water ice)...then when you do purchase he limits your order!...I just don’t understand ..

really a disgusting place, especially for drivers. I arrived at 9:30 am and at 7pm I still had not left and with only 3 trucks in front of me. the people of the warehoure super undesirable without any communication and with very bad treatment a place where no one should go

I am a regular customer in this place and lately my experience with them has been devastating and strong because the cashiers who currently work there in this place are putting extra charges on customer purchases, this has happened to me several times, and in two of these times I have had to request a refund for products that appear double on my purchase receipt. They have offended me, they threatened me, the cashiers, they threw my money back on the floor and on one occasion I had to argue very hard with one of these cashiers. I asked to speak to the manager that time and the man was too busy to speak to me. very bad everything in this place.

Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Half of the employees were incredibly rude/sassy when I asked a simple question. Must not be a good work environment, or they haven’t been trained on how to actually be helpful. I’ll be ordering ingredients online instead of shopping here.

Older Lady with a hand tattoo at the front counter was incredibly rude and couldn’t answer the simplest of questions. She should be let go or assigned to a position that doesn’t involve speaking to customers. Not sure if she’s had a bad morning but yikes. Besides that I can never find what I need. The store seems to be organized well but there’s hardly any signage letting you know where things are. I’ve tried multiple times to make this my one stop shop but I give up. I won’t be back.

They have a wide variety of restaurant in convenience store items to choose from. The staff is very friendly. If there is a line at the registers that usually open up another one

Please be careful when shopping here. Leave your kids at home. Danger awaits you at every corner. Blocked for exits. Operating power equipment around people with no caution. Aisles are often blocked with pallets and impassible.

All what you crave in restaurants you will find it here at the fraction of the cost, fast checkout.

Awesome place. Open to the public at the moment. They make sure everyone coming in had a mask, but some people take them off once they get inside. The store is great though. Could maybe use some aisle labeling, but if you need bulk or affordable cooking equipment, check them out.

Ive been trying to do business with these people for four days! I have never talked to a larger group of folks that know absolutely nothing about any item you ask them about!ie: I said "can I place a order," they said "I guess you would need to do that on line" I ask how to do that. I went on line completed my profile and tried to place an order. Wouldnt go through, So I called customer service and ask how to place an order on linethe lady says " I am not sure how you do that"! Wow just Wow thats all I got to say!

From past two months I have been requesting them to get monster java mean bean coffee. They all the time tell they will get it next week I drove several times 1hr to get it they are always out of it thankfully I found it on line for the same price. Horrible customer service

3/26/20 Came here to grab a few things and of course I left spending more than I wanted but it’s ok. As this place always has plenty of food options, and I needed to buy a few meat products since the regular grocery stores seemed to be sold out. They have so many options here from spices, canned goods, meats, veggies and many many more. I’ve learned of this place thanks to my uncle whom has a business and constantly has people over or get togethers.Therefore, I come here every so often. Great store to shop for your business, restaurant or for your big family.

I didn’t like it , 5 hr to unload, not very , but extremely tight, taking a huge chance to back in with traffic flowing around you with not a care in the world. Mud flaps along the curb , watched tail swing damage two mirrors..bring all your backing skills with you. Bring all your pulling away from dock skills too. It’s a bi#€h.

Why do people and restaurant owners shop here. Today it was filthy and pallets all over the place that you could not even pull the large carts down the isle. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS.....I was bumped physically by the driver of the fork lift, who was flat out zooming down the the frozen section with no reward to patrons. Yelled at me for being in the way saying that I shouldn’t have been where I was, um I am trying to shop and said you need to be more courteous to the customer. I will never be back...

I wish I had lots more money to get more deals. They always have what I need in stock. Yes you have to buy in bulk but you save in the long run. I meed a bigger freezer. Oh yeah they sell those too. I like this place better than Sams.

Good authentic food for a reasonable price.

Love this place, always a good experience. Just a heads up: not everything in bulk is cheaper or reasonably priced. Some items are more expensive than what you can find for at Sams or Costco or even Walmart!!! No matter what, RD has great fish and meat, as awlays!!!

This place was nice. Huge walk in full of veggies, meats, cheeses, etc. Great prices. Got a 10 lb brisket that said it was $4.91/lb but it rang up at $3.18/lb.

If you drive semi , stay away. Don’t know how long to get unloaded yet, I only have 9 skids , but it took 5 minutes for them to come too the door. Will update with times, but regardless, they are not getting another star. In and out in about 45 minutes. I’d give 5 stars to to the guys unloading me, but since this is such a horrible place to get too, gonna leave it at 1 star.

Another restaurant depot forbidden location. Take 8 skids in 20 min and then count it for 2h. With multiple stops forget it. Wonder whos doing stops for them all the time.Mess as hell inside the docks and got to block entire cemetery traffic to back in. No wonder people get upset.However stuff was nice.

Me and my girlfriend decided to stop here while driving by. The prices and selection were amazing. When we went to checkout the cashier asked us for our card which we didnt have. She informed us that this store wasnt open to the general public and you had to be a member to shop there. She seemed surprised that no one stopped us when we came in. She told us to talk to the supervisor to see if he would let us buy the 3 items we had. He was a bit rude to us but did let us buy the items in the end. When we left we looked for a sign saying that it wasnt for the public. We found it on the wall between the doors half obscured by a bagged ice freezer. Even if I owned a business I dont know if Id shop here again due to the rudeness of the staff.
