Restaurant Deeba - Pakistani restaurant in Muenchen, Germany
What an amazing little restaurant. Service is really kind and helpful. The food is amazing and also take away is great. Worth stoping by. Ans also parking around is not hard to find.
Tasty Pakistani food. tough to find parking. Very good accessible with public transport. Extremely delicious food. small restaurant
Attend a Meetup. Amazing taste with a lot of Asian dishes specially tea and gulab-jamun at the end.
I like this restaurant. The food is quite good and the staff is also very good and polite to the customer. But the vegetarian and snacks options are quite low. We went there for spicy snacks but only fritters are there on the menu. So we decided for dinner then also very few options for being vegetarian. Overall it is good. 👍👍
Excellent Pakistani food in Munich. I was visting with family and ordered the food twice to my hotel and both the orders were on point. The chicken biryani and the chicken seekh kababs were brilliant. Chicken tikka masala was 3.5/5. Overall, good taste. The price is on the higher side but perhaps worth it
The food doesn’t have the authentic Pakistani taste. Please either get a professional cook or you can use Shan Spices. Obviously the locals don’t know the difference. Karachi native.
Food was very delicious, with a good price and very gentle service!
Very friendly staff + very good & well spiced dishes!
A lil pricey but the taste was amazing 👅
Well went there hoping for desi food but was dissppointed. Ordered saag ghosht but they put cream init. I have never had saag ghosht cooked with cream! I also asked for it to be a little chili hot. Yes it was hot but you could taste that the extra chile powder put in was not cooked properly and raw. Most of the dish was sent back.
Could be a hidden germ for Pakistani -Indian food in Munchen✨️
Service: Bad. We went there without a reservation. Somewhat hesitantly but with an annoyed look on his face, he did give us a table. After the meal, they quickly cleared the table and wanted to collect immediately, because other guests were waiting outside. Such behavior is not appropriate in the restaurant business.Food: Good but small portions.Price: High.
Delicious lunch. We had a Pakistan dish and a Indian curry. The naan was also very tasty.
Food was delicious and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend 💯
Nice food. Lamb biryani was tender and moderately spiced , just liked how we would have preferred. Yummy warm soup felt great on a cold winter day. Nice friendly staff/owners. Accommodated requests for our kiddo too :-)
About the only place where you can find authentic Pakistani food in Munich. Id definitely recommend to try the BBQ platter and mutton chops.
So i went there after one of my Bosnian friends recommended it to me. The Restaurant is very small. I could get the seat very easily. The staff was friendly and i could communicate with them in Urdu. Now the food part. I ordered chicken tikka and they bring my with rice lol. Who eats chicken tikka with rice ? But ok. The portion in my opinion was very small. Only 5 pieces for 15 euro are in my opinion bit expensive. The Portion of rice was not enough as well. I had to order Naan which was small also. The taste was above average but it is geared towards foreigners and not to natives. I mean the food is meant for white people lolIf you want to eat authentic south-asian food, Check out yt or ask me.I would recommend it only once and i do not think i will go back there.
I visited this restaurant with my friends. I felt like I am eating at home. I loved their hospitality. Food was delicious also complementary tea made our evening more fun❤️ highly recommended if you miss Pakistani food.
Possibly the best Lamb Biryani I have tasted, in Munich!
Masala dishes are really tasty here and the best Ive eaten in Munich!
Food is delicious, portions are huge, and people working there are very welcoming.
Amazing food, ambient and the service is great. Highly recommended!
Staff is very friendly, had the best samosa. Great place to dine.
The food was fantastic. Price also Ok.
A great price for the large portions, however the food tasted quite watered down.
Generally I dont like the Indian/Pakistani food in the restaurants in Europe because I feel that the taste is customised and not authentic but Deeba is one of my favourites 😍 I would love to visit again!
Amazing little restaurant service Pakistani food. I met the owner the day prior and asked if he could suggest a local Middle Eastern restaurant from the dozens in the area and he said he had owned this restaurant for the last 26 years. He did not disappoint! The food, the service, the atmosphere were all incredible. I cant wait to go back!
Visiting here and having Pakistani Cuisine made me remember the real Pakistan Spices, traditions and rich culture. Acknowledged that its one of the Best Asian restaurant we have here. You sould also try this once. Gona love that.....
Delicious Biryani (reminded me of Hyderabadi-Biryaniand Samosas! My sister tried a paneer dish which was yummy too, will definitely fo back :)
I’m a little bit puzzled about what other reviewers mean by ‘cozy’. Deeba is the size of my living room (and my apartment is no bigger than 70m, for perspectivewhich doesn’t make it cozy but, rather, asphyxiating. The food is okay-ish, nothing special, blunt if I’m being honest and the portions are too small in comparison to other similar restaurants in Munich and a bit pricey, too. The atmosphere is pleasant -despite the super small size and the tables being very close laid out- and the people very nice. Overall nothing bad here but, also, nothing that would make me long for my next visit/ meal at Deeba.
Very good Pakistani cuisine in a small cosy restaurant. A bit pricey, but still ok for good, fresh food. Also: try the housemade Chai!
Nice restaurant, cosy, friendly stuff, food is ok, but not outstanding. Be prepared for all your clothes and hair to smell like the restaurant/food.
The food is amazing. The service was also super great. The price is reasonable. A lot of choice in the menu. We really appreciated the liqueur that they offered at the end of the dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant to try pakistani food!
Being a Pakistani, I had to give this place a try. The service was excellent, the food partly authentic and the ambiance relaxing. We ordered the mixed pakora platter which was accompanied with assorted chutneys and papadum, all of which was extremely delicious. For the main course, we had mutton nihari which tasted alright, chicken tikka and jalfrezi tasted good, and the best dish was “daal gosht” that was very authentic and reminded me of home! I’d surely come back to this place to try out other things and update my review.
Nice staff and very good food. Sadly a little crowded/dense seat and table distribution. Otherwise a good place to have some traditional indian or pakistani food.
Nice and tasty food. The place is a bit small and congested and hence chaotic. Tandoori chicken was tasty but we felt that the lamb was quite hard. Chicken biryani was very nice and more of an authentic taste. Chicken soup was also good.
I went to Deeba Restaurant with my friends. We all belong to Pakistan and can easily tell you about the taste of Pakistani and Indian food.We ordered there three dishes and all three were the same and curry was also the same.If you are not Pakistani and Indian and have never tried the original dishes then it might be OK ... But if you are Pakistani and Indian and want to taste the real dishes then I would not recommend this restaurant.
Taste is Pakistani but less spicy. All curries are same However you will serve with garma garam rotees( hot fresh chapatis).Good comparativly with other Pakistani resturants in Munich.Update is as on 18 Sep 2018
INCREDIBLY GOOD! Amazing pakistani food. One of my fav restaurants in Munich. Super friendly staff. The owner or manager is always around to smile to guests and offer a great service. LOVE IT!
Delicious Pakistani restaurant next to the art museum Neue Pinakothek. In my opinion its the best pakistani food in munich (even in Berlin I havent found any better). The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and they have special offers for lunch - unfortunately the salad comes with a rather tasteless mayonnaise as dressing. The Bhartha is to die for. They have a large section of vegetarian dishes. You can also choose how spicy you like your food. If you like it more spicy than the european standard spicy, ask for "medium plus".
We ordered biriyani and rice was not cooked and it was so dry. Service was not good, they treat Germans much better than Pakistani or Indian counter parts. We had to wait for atleast 10 minutes to get menu card.
Tries too hard to be an Indian restaurant. The meat portion was so small, it was just sad. The rice was cheap and it wasnt the best to eat. Grew up in Pakistan and ate the food there, but unfortunately this food is in no way or shape authentic. Really disappointing. Would honestly not recommend it to anyone.
Super delicious food and the staff is so friendly. They make you feel so comfortable and welcome! Love this place and will definitely come back.
Food in spices instead of spices in food.Wont recommend grilled dishes (probably others are better). Spices arent properly cooked and its like they have cooked food in spices. Never had such experience even at non-asian restaurants. The staff was very good and they serve the guests very well.Price is above average compared to Munich.
Great food, nice ambience, best host. Mango lassi is just awesome! Menu is extensive and everything we tried was great. If youre a Pakistani, ask them to make the food spicy. :Must try Mutton Qorma.
If you are fond of Pakistani food, in Munich there wouldnt be many places better than Deeba Restaurant. The variety of dishes on the menu as well as standard of cooking is very good and one tends to over eat. The service is very good too the it appeared to me as if every one serving me exactly knew what I wanted. This is a great feeling to have.It is a small restaurant with limited seating capacity and is modestly furnished. Its clean and tidy but not spacious and luxuriously furnished as one might like to see. Perhaps this is one area they can improve. and again because they cook and serve very well.
Delicious food. Large variety of choices in the menu. Friendly staff. Small and cozy place. Will go again definitely
I have been travelling Europe for a while and I must say that the Pakistani Food and its typical taste has been proudly represented by this Restaurant, Deeba. The ambiance, aroma, and specifically the Taste was extraordinary.Quantity of food is very generous, the Staff service is beyond explanation.I travelled from Truderring to Barer Str. Just to taste Pakistani food, and it was a very best choice before departing Munich.Definitely suggested to everyone to do try their excellent food.
Excellent Pakistani restaurant. Offers various curries and other dishes. Service is very friendly. We had a highly enjoyable night.
Traditional Pakistani dishes. Deebas baryani is their special dish in which you will find prawns, chicken and beef along with Roti, Raita. Must try that. The owner and the staff are well behaved. Even offered me a complimentary mango lassi :-)
