Bad experience,staff was rude and Indian bread seems of low quality and not hygienic ,taste was awful, disappointed

Excellent food with perfect taste. authentic Indian kitchen one of the best in Europe, its like you get introduce to Indian culture in very special way.

Place only with reservation before.Not allowed all costomers!!Interier are good,no bad food but not same like sri lanka or india(( it is pitty.Music good.Generally place for 1-2visit maximum!!

Worst hospitality ever ,i went there with one of my friends right after entering the restaurant a guy from the restaurant and asked if we can pay 800 grvn each then only we’ll be allowed to sit and eat in the restaurant and asked to leave if not

I went to the restaurant and what is the manager asked me that how much money you have in your pocket so next time when you visit in this so called lavish restaurant just remember you have to take your banks details.

I would never go there ever because there hospitality sucked ,they dnt even no basic etiquette of being host or how to treat a guest because of there pea size IQ , i already know regarding prices are way much higher but i still wanna try what the buzz is about but luckily i dnt have waste my single penny to see whats all this about because of there etiquetteso i would suggest students (infct who have dignity for themselves dnt go there because they think we cnt afford there peas size IQ sliver platter .

I really enjoyed this place. The food was good and the service was amazing. The idea with wishes wall is quite fun (when you leave the staff will ask you to choose a small door on the wall and there are like wishes or prophecies for you). The interior is impressive and the kamasutra theme is very entertaining.The only thing that I am not sure of is the duck tape on the tables and chairs (it is covered with silver paint but still visible). Definitely a place to visit

I have been a regular client of this establishment since 2010 and let me tell you, biased as I am in being passionate about North Indian food classics, that nothing, and I mean NOTHING in this town comes even close to the magnificent flavours to be found in this restaurant. Well, perhaps thats not saying much, what with Kyiv being a capital of Blandland, so let me put it this way: I have eaten Indian food in dozens of restaurants all over Europe and Sutra beats all but a couple of them hands down. Butter chicken, Rogan josh, Chicken tikka masala... All the classics here are to die for. And that Vindaloo - god, the tales I could tell you about that Vindaloo!.. Truly, this is the only place in Kyiv where if you ask for hot curry, you get HOT curry.Ramblings aside, if you are even remotely interested in spicy food, you owe it to yourself to discover this place - you will not be able to come back to your bland foods ever again, promise!

I ate Palak paneer, shrimp pulao, butter naan, tiger shrimp and masala tea over there. All of these dishes have superb flavours and quality. I really enjoyed eating over here. Best stuff and atmosphere. One of great Asian food branch in kiev.

Very good Indian food in Kyiv .. authentic taste And they actually ask you the spice level for every dish which is such a nice gesture. . In their menu they lack chaat and limited starter and dessert options. It is on the expensive side but the quality and taste are really nice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Food is best quality, at least they added masalah snd chillies which were not present in other restaurants. Environment is awesome and services are quick and efficient. Prices are according to place but because of it’s true Asian taste, it good to go there which you are missing your country food.

Dont go anywhere else in Kyiv if youre from the UK and you are craving for a BIR type of Curry.Everything is like we have in England.We had a starter of Chicken tikka masala, a main of Vindaloo with rice and plain Naan.Fantastic and just like home in England.Everywhere else in Kyiv just doesnt compare to this emporium of fine cuisine.Only one issue was the price.But if you want the best of something, be prepared to pay the price.£80 for two, plus two mango lassi and a beer or two, these are London prices, without any doubt.But Wow, was that Vindaloo excellent 🌞👍Dont settle for the whiskas super meat served up by other "so called" Indian restaurants in Kyiv.Treat yourself, youre on vacation.

This place is rather cozy and on the expensive site (a dinner for one person with only one beer was about $40). The cuisine is fine while I wish the menu was a bit longer, at the moment it has less than ten starters and about the same number of main dishes. 10% service fee is automatically included to your check.I asked everything to be cooked as hot and spicy as it was supposed to be for a native eater and it really was. Chili Paneer was perfectly delicious. Lamb Rogan Josh and Garlic Naan were very good.The only issue, quite small actually, was the beer selection, they did not have anything on tap and there were just a few bottled beers.

Awful delivery service. They reject delivery orders and when you call restaurant they claim that they are busy, but you can book a table to dine in. Terrible and unhelpful manager on the phone, who hangs up in the middle of a conversation or tells they will call back and they never do. This has happened several times.They do not care at all about customer service or actually treating their customers with the slightest amount of courtesy.

Today is my 2nd time 1st was 2 years ago. Prices up by 30% or so. But the food was tasty..

Indeed authentic indian food, indian people, english-friendly, great and really spicy taste. The space inside is very iconic, including the first-class service. Of course, this comes with a price but it was worth our visit.

"Proper" curry house - had the Palak Paneer and the Lamb Rogan Josh and the lamb was incredibly tender and they got the spices bang on. But the crowning part - they do a PROPER mango lassi, been a while since I had one that good. Authentic Indian, great food, and just the right level of gaudy decor you want from an Indian restaurant

I’m not a big fan of Indian food but my husband is really into it so we go to Indian restaurants from time to time. He told me about this place many times but I never got a chance to visit it till today.What can I say? It shows India in its best. The interior is so luxurious, the food is delicious, the staff is so well trained I never met that kind of service in Kyiv.Totally recommend for India lovers or people who just want you experience in for the first time - you will not be disappointed.

One of the few authentic and Id like to say only indian places in Kyiv that serve genuine indian food. The atmosphere and the attention to every little detail makes you feel almost overwhelmed but cared for when you sit down. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size you get. Personally, I enjoyed the spices they put into the dishes and overall, they were tasty. Id highly recommend this place to anyone wanting an authentic indian experience. Note that an average dinner will average up to 40-100 dollars per two people which is somehow expensive in Kyiv but normal in the states.

The food is authentic Indian, we liked everything we ordered.Average check for one person would be 400-500 uah.Our waiters were friendly, but not very fast.The interior is extra luxury. You will probably feel more comfortable if you dress up for this place

A bit expensive for a restaurant in Ukraine, but grandeur furnishings can justify the premium. Food was tasty, but amount of pieces stated on the menu is somewhat inaccurate. My friend who is an avid lover of Indian food praised the food highly as well.

What to say about this place....When I went here, I was almost out of words due to the atmosphere in this place. I have never been in such a nice decorated restaurant, and the restaurant itself sure lived up to the standard of its design.The food is expensive compared to other prices in Kyiv, but the food is worth the price. Furthermore was the service and staff also in top class, no complains about this place.

Obnoxious, you wouldnt believe until you see the interiors depicting Hindu mythology, gods and goddesses all around you while you still try to concentrate on your food. Dont miss the bar counter

I have been in different Indians restaurants in different countries (not in India o ly😂😂)so such place never fount!So beautiful and with so interesting ambience. Here u can get only gastronomic pleasures but esthetic as well!It’s like treasures in the Kiev- never expected to have something like it!!Himalayas are Bombay Palace are “resting” in comparison with Sutra!!Thanks a lot for this pleasure in our city 🙏

I was literally blown out of my mind. The ambience, music delicious food, great hospitality were phenomenonal. I really enjoyed and felt like not leaving .Strongly Recommend. I would like to also appreciate the owner of the restaurant too for presenting a masterpiece especially in Ukraine.

The atmosphere and the ambience is absolutely on point. The interior is great, the music collection is great and the menu is pretty well sized in both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes but the main caveat is that the food isnt good. The service was quick and the waitress was polite and the food looked good but it didnt pack the same punch real Indian food packs. Considering the prices the portions were very small as well but still its a must go restaurant that you may like.

Was here for the second time the other night....Just lovely!! Highly recommend it!Reservations are recommended. The service is incredible. The food is expertly prepared and authentic. Also, finding spicy food in Ukraine can be hard...This place has it! Try the chicken lollipop and ask for it to be extra spicy! Itll blow your socks off (Ukrainians beware...It may kill you).You will leave here absolutely stuffed be so content and happy. If you want to feel fancy, dress up! The interior décor is incredible and you could have nice photos if you dress up (though lighting isnt super bright).Sadly I dont think this venue is accessible to people with physical disabilities as its up a curving staircase and there is no elevator. Sorry!I will continue to visit here when in Kiev because it is truly exceptional!!

Beautiful decor, delicious Indian food and high class service. Owner not personally present when we were there with a famous Indian celebrity. The credit card machine was not working so we had to pay cash so be prepared in case this is not an exception.
