Had a fabulous lunch for 99 pesos that included soup, entree, and agua fresca. I opted for the creamy corn soup which was light and very tasty. For my entree, I chose the Chiles en Nogada, a sweet and savory picadillo filling inside a Poblano, all bathed in a creamy walnut sauce. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend it.

The only regret we have about having dinner at Adobes is that have not gone before now! The service was beyond genuinely friendly and attentive and our meals were outstanding. I had the beef medallions special for that evening. It was the best beef entree I have had so far in Puerto Vallarta and we have been coming here for several years. Great food at great prices. We will absolutely go again and highly recommend this restaurant to others.

Price was right -- especially when ordering the daily special -- and the staff were attentive! I LOVED my shrimp-stuffed poblano (not too hotand my wife loved her fish. We found this restaurant on the recommendation of therapist at Vida Massage (also recommendedand are glad we did.

My family of six had a wonderful experience here tonight. Food was great. Very nice presentation. Very friendly and helpful service. They even made us a delicious VEGAN stuffed chile.

Best meal I had in Mexico on my 5 day visit. This Chilles En Nagada was nothing short of amazing. The presentation and the attention to detail of the aesthetics made it look very gourmet but it wasnt just looks alone , the taste was amazing and the walnut sauce had a very good flavor but not overpowering, great combination! I was seated and told the waiter that I was there for the Chiles en Nagada and they suggested a combination of shrimp and beef and it was a great suggestion. Both are an amazing pairing! You need to stop here!

We went looking for an early lunch and walked past this unassuming restaurant. We noticed the menu in the window and decided to try it out. The food started out mediocre soup from a package? But then wow something you would not expect a main dish that any 1 star Michelin restaurant would envy and the flavor was outstanding the dish was called Chile en Nogada. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a low key family neighborhood

People this place is the bomb.com!! We had their lunch special rancher steak fajitas which came with a soup and two sides I choose salad and rice also came with a flavored water for 100 pas !! Amazing!!!!We loved it so much we came back the next day which was even better! Little hole in the wall but truly delicious! Must try!! Full bellies great service happy faces!!

Aesthetically simple restaurant with the most amazing food. The Chiles en Nogada was one of the best meals Ive ever had. Just trust me, it is mind blowing. It is a pretty complex dish and it was done to perfection. My girlfriend had the chicken enchiladas and that was fantastic as well. The beans on the side were delicious. Our service was amazing. Their waiting staff was so friendly and personable. All of these wonderful things to say and the meal was totally affordable! The restaurant is in a very fun part of town as well. The nightlife in this area was superb! Telling everyone I know about this place and will be back every time I visit Puerto Vallarta!

Had a really nice steak with mashed potatoes and veggie... very tasty sauce with mushroom cooked to my liking. My friend had the fish...more like a 4 for the fish...

This quaint resturant is delightful! The food is a high quality but not over priced since youre off the beach. Same goes for the wine selection. The menu offers a perfect variety of dishes and the specials are always yummy. But my favorite part may be the staff! 😊 Friendly, helpful, funny, and so personable. This is a gem!

You’d be hard pressed to find a better tasting, filling lunch value in PV. They have 2 lunch specials; $75 and $99 pesos. $75 is either beef, chicken, fish or pork, with numerous prep options. $99 is shrimp. All include soup of the day, choice of 2 side dishes, bread/tortillas and flavoured water of the day. It’s amazing value, the service is wonderful and the food is outstanding with big portions. I know, sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t. Can’t recommend enough. Bon Appetite!

Much more than a Mexican Restaurant. Way better than pub food. It has Gourmet entrees in the evening that will knock your sox off!Great luncheon specials that are terrific.

Excellent local cuisine, hole in the wall, nightly specials, and phenomenal service, provided by family. I highly recommend ordering any of their seafood. Their mussels were amazing and seafood special was fantastic. Love their romantic soloist guitarist and singer. Really made the evening so romantic. A must visit during your stay in Puerto Vallarta. Went at 5pm and it was deserted and kind of warm in there. We said nothing but within 5 min. they turned on the AC....whew. It has been spiffed up since April 2020 with new paint, tablecloths and AC. We ordered Quesadillas and were really impressed with the food and the presentations. My carrot was sculpted into a flower! Excellent prices and quality....mmmmm good.

My husband and I come to Adobes every visit we have. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend popping in if youre in Vallarta.

Ate here for both breakfast and lunch -- both were awesome! Had the adobada omelet for breakfast and it was a lot of food! For lunch I had the chicken fajitas and chicken noodle soup. Everything tasted awesome and it was a great value. Jesus our server was awesome and the entire staff was nice to us.

boyfriend and i went per good reviews even tho nobody else was in there (first mistake). ordered pork pozole, mahi mahi con mariscos special (second mistake- forgot that specials are usually less freshand the surf n turf. service was excellent and server was very friendly and good at his job. prices were just ok, more than we were expecting given everyone praising the low prices. we overall thought it was a good meal, until 6 hrs later…..we were puking and pooping our brains out starting 6hrs after our meal, and the symptoms continued through most of the next day. the food tasted ok we thought, but pls stay away from this restaurant, especially if nobody else is in there 😵‍💫🤢

Such a wonderful experience. The lunch menu has a prix fixe menu option that comes with a soup, entree, and horchata. The tilapia was so delicious. This is a meal that feels like it was made in a friends home. Very comforting. And the staff and service is wonderful too!

great little mexican family restuarant great food and great service. Dinner special caesar salad beef medallions mashed potatoes and vegetables and a great flan for dessert. Go see Jesus and family for a great dinner.

Amazing food! They speak great English and they are very helpful with food allergies. They made us whatever we wanted, even if it wasn’t on the menu! Highly recommended!

This was an all around great experience! We eat gluten and dairy free even a couple vegan eaters among us and they accommodated our every need. Friendly staff and delicious food! Cleanly as well.

Great food and an even greater staff! From the kitchen staff to the wait staff, everybody is so friendly and I look forward to my food as much as I look forward to seeing the smiling faces of everybody working there! Its a smaller space so make sure you dont miss your chance at grabbing a table before walking across the street to El Soñador for a game of pool or the couple of blocks to the LGBTQ+ area for hitting any of the high energy clubs and dancing off the calories from your delicious meal...or dont cuz you prefer to relax on the sand and just enjoy being full and satisfied!

Had their comida corrida at lunch. Chicken fajitas were very good and more than enough for 5 well stuffed tortillas. Came with a good noodle soup and coconut water (agua fresca- terrific bargain at only 75 pesos. Refills on the agua and the very attentive waiter even replenished the ice cubes. Other half had the huarache for the main. Will go back again.

Absolutely love both the kitchen and wait staff. The Bistek Mexicano is delicious every time! Their prices are very good and it is easy to locate near the corner that the bar El Sonador is located on in the gay dance club area. I eat there at least twice a month or anytime I am on that side of town at lunch or dinner time!

I came for dinner looking for a authentic nice Mexican restaurant. Except the restaurant featured more Tex-mex food mixed with European influences. The entree was over priced and over garnished. AC was ok. My phone didn’t get service inside.Staff was nice.

Food very good and great presentation. So much noise we couldn’t hear well enough to talk to our dinner partners. Table next to us had about 14 very loud people. Restaurant is too small to have that many people in one party. Will not return.

I have been for lunch many times. The food is very good and the price as good as it is in many other places that serve comida corrida. It would be nice if they had every day an option, special of the day. The menu for lunch always has the same options. All good but the same.

Probably the best value for fine dining in the Romantic Zone. Service is friendly and efficient and they make you feel at home. The menu never seems to change much but you can expect consistent quality every time at a very affordable price.

Wow, surprised or maybe should not be because all friends tell us to go there. Small and only a few tables, reservation are suggested! We had none but found a small table for 4, 7:00pm Friday. Every dish was tasty, good size and presentation was great. Free water, a small appetizer on the house! Very reasonable price excellent service!

Im giving this a 5 star for the food and the friendliness of the staff. The owner/chef is "world class." My wife and I have enjoyed meals here 3 times during 2 of our most recent visits to Puerto Vallarta. If you are early diners you can usually be seated; otherwise you may want to make reservations. We sought out this small restaurant on Madero between Constitucion and Vallarta on the recommendation of Claire at Galleria Dante who said she employed chef Vicente 30 years ago. We were not disappointed.We were offered free starters of crispy tacos with something like Mexican coleslaw.I had the Sopa de Azteca which could have been a little hotter but was creamy, flavourful and full of crispy noodles.My wife really tasted the coconut in her coconut shrimp served with rice, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables and a mango sauce that she found a little overwhelming. (199 MXN Pesos)Unusually my chicken fajitas were served on a plate not a skillet but were well cooked and presented with fresh guacamole and salsa and my requested tortillas de maiz (corn). An excellent dish for 110 MXN Pesos; $6 or less than £5.00.)We chose a Chilean Chardonnay for 199 MXN Pesos and found it very fruity and not at all acidic as is often the case; one of the best Chardonnays we have ever tasted.The total bill was just 508 MXN Pesos (less than $28.00 or £21.50).Service was very professional if slightly distracted by chat with the chefs at the end of the night.

Best kept secret in PV. Amazing cuisine. Shrimp bisque is so rich it is almost a meal by itself. Had the Oso Buco special - perfectly braised and tender, mushroom sauce and steamed vegetables were an outstanding accompaniment.Small place. No decor. Attentive, professional, courteous staff. We were shocked by the outstanding food quality in this unassuming little treasure.
