104 Drumcondra Rd Upper, Drumcondra, Dublin, D09 FP29, Ireland, Dublin
Warm Irish restaurant offering seasonal fare made with local produce, plus wine & weekend brunch.
Great atmosphere, service and food. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to dining there again.
The staff were absolutely lovely even after changing my reservation severally. The food was excellent and very filling, I am definitely going back (for the 3rd time ๐).
We had a beautiful meal for 7 in restaurant 104, both food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend.
Best steak in Dublin!!!! The food is such high quality. Great menu. Fabulously tasty and all really well seasoned. The biggest plus were the staff. So kind, polite, cheery and gave perfect service with a smile. The duck ragout and beef brisket croquettes were superb too. Highly recommend ๐๐ผ๐๐ป
I had absolutely delicious irish breakfast there.
Gorgeous meal, varied menu, great staff. An all round lovely evening, thank you!
Great brunch spot. Will defo be back
This restaurant has to be one of the top meals we had on our visit to Dublin. The service was above and beyond, staff was extremely kind, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hearty meal :)
During a quick holiday to Dublin, I eat dinner here. Excellent spare ribs, and French onion soup with a pint of Guinness.
This is a gem of a local restaurant but I was little disappointed that there is no longer a Vegan option available. Really helpful waiters did try to accommodate but in the recent past Iโve had super vegan mains. Please consider including this option again! Cauliflower curryโs, lentil stews were ace previously.
I dined there last Friday with a couple of friends. We had a really beautiful meal in a lovely atmosphere. Staff were very attentive in an unobtrusive way. Food was great. Cooked to perfection, beautifully presented. I would recommended this restaurant.
Great food and very friendly staff, love the atmosphere also.
A hidden gem! This place happened to be across the street from our hotel and when we couldnt get our room we decided to venture over for breakfast. The waffles were amazing. We enjoyed our meal so much we went back the next night for dinner which was also excellent.
This place was fabulous. Staff were amazing. Food was delicious. They went way beyond being helpful. Especially Miguel. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Dublin.
Our first time in 104 and it was a lovely experience. Made feel very welcone gave us a choice of tables ( they were expecting a table of eightand allowed us to choose our table. Very hapoy with the menu and food when served
Good customer service, they had a very busy afternoon , yet managed to accommodate, professionally. Good food & service.
Had a fantastic meal and experience at Restaurant 104. Staff all so good & very friendly. Canโt wait to come back ๐

We (2 ladies night outdinned here before the Garth Brooks concert last Saturday night. Table was ready and waiting for us for a 6pm booking, In fact, we were early and were facilitated. Our food was outstanding. Monkfish curry...OMG. Coffee after. Staff were excellent. Young waitress very chatty. Highly recommended
Delicious food. Good value. Lovely staff. Nice comfy restaurant.Well worth a visit.Very pleased. Would recommend.
We had dinner for 4 people in the Restaurant 104 last night before the Garth Brooks concert. Even though the restaurant was very busy, every plate of food was absolutely delicious and the staff exceptional, so friendly, professional and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Restaurant 104
Was a great start to the night with Gareth brooks. 104 took us earlier than booked. Food was fab. The staff were so professional and courteous. The bathroom lovely and clean.Thank you.
Fantastic food in a great location. We dined here before a concert in Croke Park and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. After an initial mix up with our booking, the manager ensured we were all looked after and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our meals. Both food and wine were delicious, would definitely dine here again.
Crispy chicken wrap was excellent...the pulled pork was good, but could have done with more of the pickled onions for added crunch...or maybe a coleslaw. The chips though...oh my goodness...the chips were AMAZING!Really friendly service, with a nice vibe, you cannot go wrong grabbing lunch here
I had a really lovely meal with a close friend last night. We shared the Mezze Slate for starter. Fresh bread, lovely selection of tapanedes and raw accompaniments. Beautiful presentation. For main I had the excellent fish tacos. Delicious! My friend had the salmon saladโฆequally good.Service was attentive and personal. Nice discussion about the provenance of the artistic Delph. Two gin and tonics and two glasses of red wine - total bill to include tip โฌ110.The only very slight issue was the table beside us was quite loud but this is not within the control of the restaurant.I will be back next week with my husband to sample another dish from an interesting menu.
The restaurant is located in a very convenient place, close to other amenities. The food is excellent, and they are masters in preparing sea food. The staff is very gentle and friendly, always giving the best advices according to your taste. The place is also recommended for families. If you enjoy sea food, try the octopus or the fish tacos, they are delicious!
Great experience.Wonderful food.Octopus was very, very good. The pork was juicy. The waiters very friendly and helpful, the highlight.I definitely recommend it.The best of Dublin.
Had a fabulous evening here with my sisters. The selection of food was great, the staff were great fun and so attentive! One of the waiters heard us toast our sister a Happy Birthday and arrived with a sweet treat with a candle minutes later and sang happy birthday with us. Would highly recommend ๐
We had lunch on the terrace during the good weather last week and it was lovely. The outstanding point was the service. The waiters could not have been more attentive. I had the fish tacos with lemon sole, very tasty although I was not mad about the actual taco base. My friend had the chicken burger and said it was yum. She followed that with the Crumble with creme anglaise and said it was delish. We received a complimentary blood orange limoncello after the meal too! Very nice.
FANTASTIC โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธWonderful Meal tonight with lovely company , Great Vibe about this place , staff excellent and the Food exquisite tip my hat to the chef everything was Perfect !! Will definitely go back to try different dishesThank you see you soonPaul Byrne
A wonderful little french place, with a friendly and attentive staff, and great food. The Monkfish Curry was excellent. Also a great breakfast spot.
The food was really good and good value. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Id definitely recommend a visit.
I wonโt visit again or recommend this place. I came today to the restaurant and ordered the salmon with salad and I found a short black hair while I was eating. I couldnโt eat anymore I felt sick after taking the hair a side to tell to the waiter. When he came to ask how was the food we mentioned that was a hair on my plate and he apologised offering a dessert. Usually the restaurant wonโt charge for when something like this happens. This dish was around 26 euros and didnโt worth it to be honest. They charged us for the full price of the dish at the end. They could have only charged the half of the dish as I couldnโt eat anymore after this experience. We also ordered fish tacos and about the flavour wasnโt really good. They charge around 26-28โฌ euros for this dish with 3 small fish tacos.
We wish we found this restaurant our first night and not our last. It was FANTASTIC. The calamari (but had octopuswas so good my husband wanted to lick the plate and order it again for dessert. Best we have ever eaten. The fish tacos were perfect, as was the linguine with shrimp. The service was incredible and I canโt say enough good things. Not one negative comment. Weโre from the US and it beat our favorite restaurant back home. A MUST meal if in Dublin or surrounding area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Amazing food. The best meal we had abroad thus trio or past trios fir that matter. We had the octopus marinara appetizer followed by the fish tacos and seafood linguini. All were fantastic. We followed up dinner with the Baileys Cheesecake. Fabio the manager was engaging and very accommodating. The wait staff were also very friendly. Our only regret was not making this our first place we ate at when we arrived last week rather than our last. Again HIGHLY recommend.
I have been coming to Restaurant 104 for years and it is always an amazing experience. The staff are so lovely and attentive and the food is even better! Definitely recommend if you are looking for good food around the city.
Had the mezze plate to share. Really small portion for sharing and at over 11 euros was very overpriced. Fish tacos was a nice dish and pasta with chicken really good and really great staff made it a nice dining experience.
Weve been to 104 a few times now.A winning combination of friendly and proffessional staff, excellent food, and being able to cater for Coeliac, means well keep going back (Extra points for being able to fry gluten free items separately to avoid cross contamination).Weve been for lunch, and also dinner, and weve also just had drinks outside in the sun. Each time has been a pleasure. You wont be disappointed!
Excellent evening as always at this restaurant.. our waiter I think by the name of Jose couldnt have been any more attentive or pleasant . Food was very good Im always happy to recommend this restaurant
Honestly, my favourite restaurant in all of Dublin. After a week of visiting this lovely city, we kept coming back to try more and more items on this menu. The Irish breakfast was exquisite with perfectly cooked eggs and sausage crafted from leek, fennel and pork. The proper European coffee was excellent, as well. Dinner was always delicious. We tried almost everything on the dinner menu between us and were never disappointed. The quality of the ingredients and the friendly staff make this an easy recommendation. Not to be missed.
We thought the food was really lovely: fine cooking very well judged. Charming welcoming service. Reasonable prices too. We had a lovely evening. Thank you
One of the best! When you are in Dublin, visit the 104 at Drumcondra Road Upper. So friendly people and wonderful food and drinks. Try it! โ๏ธโค๏ธโ๏ธ
Great food & lovely restaurant, staff were friendly, polite and attentive. We had seven at our table including two 12 year olds and everyone loved their food, starters, main courses and desserts were very tasty with good size portions. Kids meals had good options and went down well. A good wine list that covered all tastes at reasonable prices, and a selection of spirits, beers, craft beers and ciders. Will visit again soon
Absolutely fantastic service and food. Loved the wine menu. Heading back as soon as possible. Hung around for few drinks after eating as atmosphere was great.
One of my favourite restaurants in Dublin! The food is always outstanding, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. 104 is a firm family favourite but also regular date night choice for my husband and I. The incredible food, wonderful staff and chilled out at atmosphere make every meal and very enjoyable and rememberable experience.
Great experience, lovely food. Staff are attentive and kind
Hand sanitiser empty at the door. We had to grab the waitress attention to order even though it was extremely quiet. Myself and my partner both ordered eggs benedict and the eggs were overcooked and hard. The rashers were also very fatty. I also had to go inside to ask for the bill as the service was a bit slow. We were very disappointed and would be hesitant to return.
Profoundly disappointing brunch visit. Starting with the blend of coffee, distinctly acidic and definitely no "Illy" (used on the other hand by Andersons Creperie just down the road and making for a far superior experience overall both for its quality and surprising economy). Adding insult to injury my double espresso was served in a cappuccino mug. Ive never had this happen to me before and am still in hindsight confused at the waitressing choice. Bearing in mind we had three brunch dishes, the food is fairly overrated (and overpriced). We had two Eggs Florentine (one with an additional side salmonand the Healthy Option. The eggs were actually quite well poached and the brioche not particularly sweet but it was all SWIMMING in a poorly reduced hollandaise sauce that overwhelmed the remaining ingredients entirely. The flavour of mayonnaise stayed on the palate long after having done with our meal, despite attempting to rinse with a second espresso and water. Im told the Healthy Option was up to expectations. While poorly plated, it did look like it would have been the better option. Its a shame as the locale benefits from a sophisticated yet unpretentious aesthetic in a prime location in Drumcondra village but it is definitely more eye-catching than actually comfortable. The service, while prompt and welcoming, was nothing out of the ordinary. A very poor experience. Andersons, Petit Breton and The Cloud (on Summerhillwouldve made for a more satisfying way to spend a rainy afternoon.
Went for a breakfast date here on a Sunday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very calm and friendly. It wasnt too quiet or cramped so you didnt feel conscious speaking at a regular volume. The food was lovely and the presentation was nice. I would definitely recommend as the menu has lots of choice and the prices are very reasonable.
During our weeks stay in Dublin, my wife and I tried a wide assortment of breakfast, lunch, and dinner joints around town. This place is easily in our top 3 places to eat breakfast at, and is hands down the best dinner locale. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our food came fast, was delicious, and was well worth the modest price. Everything was clean, the atmosphere comfortable, and I honestly cant think of anything negative.
