Fantastic food and a real taste journey with 7 courses and wine package!So many elements that fit together and and amazing experience.

Testade Jubileumsmiddag vilket var en mixad upplevelse. Förrätten va en helt felfri svampsoppa. Men både huvudrätten och efterrätten hade några få riktigr bra element vardera som smakade bra för sig men som krockade med övriga element snarare än gifta sig smakmässigt som man önskar. Det var också en hel del saker i de rätterna som inte tillförde något. Som helhet sänktes också upplevelsen av en väldigt rörig och högljudd miljö. Restaurangen skulle tjäna på att inte dela lokal med en bar med höf dansmusik.

Seven small dishes and almost three hours. Food is nice but even less than last year. No starch at all. Went home for four slices of bread. First dish had three small pieces of oyster. When paying 1000, I would expect at least one large oyster. The chawanmushi and ice cream were nice. Sadly I dont feel like giving Vrå a third try.2021 five starsThe chefs menu is extremely well done. All four dishes were great. The potatoes and roe dish was a favourite.Negatives. Service was very slow. The portions are quite small. The restaurant should consider serving a few more potatoes to still the hunger

Vilken kväll och smakupplevelse.Börjar med ost- och saképrovning - oväntad kombination men funkade fint ihop. Sedan blev det 4-rättersmeny med vinpaket - vilka smaker och så vackert. Vi kommer snart tillbaka 😀

Excellents accueil et service. Les plats sont délicieux avec un assaisonnement subtilement équilibré. Une vraie expérience gastronomique dans un très beau décor. Les points faibles seraient lattente entre les plats et les portions un peu petites.Une expérience à renouveler.

Outstanding food and outstanding service! You need to come here and have the 7 course tasting menu, its a true experience!

Great place. We had the chefs choice menu and it was an excellent mix between different dishes, wine, sake and beer.Unfortunately Ill only give three stars because of the mixed music from restaurants, hotel and the night club under the restaurant was a big drawdown. Its was an everlasting dunk-dunk-dunk noise who totally killed the otherwise great atmosphere.

Åt fyra rätters avsmakningsmeny för 545 kr. Alla rätter var utsökta och servicen utan anmärkning. Lokalen är mysig men ändå stor och luftig. Kan inte annat än att rekommendera Vrå!

Amazing food, wine and service.

In a beautiful building which use to be the old post office. The interior is very cozy and comfortable and the service was great. The food was presented very nicely and the combination of Nordic and Japanese came together in the ingredients and textures very well. Worth a try for sure! We had the 7 course chef menu

In My top 3 sushi in town. Also great with home delivery!

Ive got a very mixed experience in this restaurant.I needed to grab a bit in the city and walked in without reservation.Positives:- Very tasty food. I mean it. One of the best Ive ever tried. Great ingredients. I really appreciated that.- Central location (its in the Clarion Post hotel, to the left from the main entrance after you go inside).- I got a complimentary starter, really small but delicious.Negatives:- The place is extremely small. REALLY small. Dont even mention any privacy. I was seated really close to a couple who looked like they were having a date/special occasion, they were drinking champagne. I could almost touch the woman of the couple. It was very uncomfortable. I ended up moving to the far side of my table but then a pair of friends were seated there. I dont think Ive ever sat so close to other people in a restaurant before.- The fantastic tasting sushi were about 3x3 cm in size (square shape). I paid 250 sek for 10 bits and left almost as hungry as I was before. I would have understood that it was an upscale restaurant if it wasnt for the seating arrangement and the size of the place.- I didnt particularly like my waiter, who was professional but I felt like a nuisance. Although another waiter, a woman who served a nearby table was perfect.

Great service, great quality of food but small portions

Excellent food and service (great matching non-alcoholic drinks), but unfortunately the neighboring bar raised noise level way too high.

Varying quality of the food. Sushi was amazing but some of the dishes where not up to our high expectations, especially vegetarian, unseasoned Tofu with raw cabbage for 275kr. Service was excellent!

Excellent Japanese food and super fresh ingredients! Pretty small place so make sure you book ahead. A bit tight seating area. Pretty expensive but I’d say it’s worthy of the value for the excellent food and presentation! Great selection of beer and liquor as well! Great place for business dinner if you stay close or in a Clarion post. A good alternative to Norda! (Which I love equally!)

We visited Gothenburg to celebrate new year and chose this restaurant and their new year menu. It was a super meal in cosy atmosphere with excellent service from friendly and knowledgeable staff! Both the food, sake and wine was perfect!

Good food with a sustainable mindset

Cant rush the staff for food when they are packed. I know they are trying but I had also wanted to leave a little earlier. Shouldnt have ordered a multi course meal then for dinner.Started to get a feel we were not preferred customers after I asked if we could get our orders sooner. I did ask nicely.

This restaurant is something! Exceptional experience, delicious and very worked meal. Appropriation of the Japanese food to a fusion style very innovative, while preserving traditional spirit. The beverage package is more than adviced to fully embrace this particular atmosphere.

Really nice & fancy restaurant! They use fresh & delightful Swedish ingredients prepared with Japanese methods. All food is delicious with unique flavours that have a hint of playfulness to them - each bite just makes you want to smile! Vegetarian options available, and the staff make a point of asking if you have amy allergies or food limitations. Both waiters and chefs will gladly adjust your meal to suit you.Good drink selection, excellent Japanese beverages. Service is really good and attentive, available both in English and Swedish (even if the menu seemingly was only in Swedish). Only "problem" is that it is very popular and it is nearly impossible to get a table without booking one in advance - and the service is rather slow. So prepare to take your time if youre planning on eating at vRå! :)

Interesting plant based meal. Sea buckthorn sorbet was amazing.

Fantastic modern sushi restaurant focusing on local seafood. Very pricy, but excellent value. Highly recommend doing the chefs sets, or omakase.

Top quality food and great service.

One of my absolute favourite spots for asian food in gothenburg! Its a must do if you are here. They always update the menu to be an absolute treat. Eat as many things as you can!

Good atmosphere, but the waiters should dress properly. Good sushi, but please dont consider fried chicken as such...
