Restaurang Sala Thai in Stockholm

Waiter was confused, half the items on the menu was not available. I ended up paying more as what I ordered was not available and could not get a refund (had to resort to purchasing a drink thata- I didn’t want andb- was not equivalent to the excess money I paid)The food taste was decent, no WiFi available at the restaurant.

Ordered item 18 on the menu - Wok med Thaibasilika. The food tastes good and the customer service was good too. And I got unlimited free tap water.

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. Great value for your food and fast service. Bibimbap was quite nice

I ordered Tom Yam Khoon(Spicy soupand Beef Pho (Thai style). Must order plain rice to go with the Tom Yam like at home. Both dishes were very good. The beef pho has a beefy taste. Like home cooking in Asia; and not adulterated for European palette .I will definitely come again.

35 sek for pad Thai and green curry. I think the prices around Stockholm is like that

simple interiors, self service but the pad kra pao is one of the best I’ve had.

Lovely food I think.Central,but the staff are getting better and the food is good quiet because alot of people do not know its there. My favourite Thai restaurant. Because its easy to get too at main train station never full.and I love Thai food

Unwelcoming staff. Sushi was stale. Youre better off eating elsewhere.

Bad quality food, and the lady working was very not nice toward me and my girlfriend. Dont go. There are so many other places to eat sushi. Like, theres a better one just across the street

After a week in the countryside of Sweden, it as comfort food to have asian food. The shrimp in the padi thai was fresh and juicy. The fried rice is slightly undercooked. Overall a satisfying meal. Nice friendly counter staff.

THIS PLACE IS GOOD!!!! This place is not bad as the reviews say so here is my honest feedback!Great location - next to the Central StationsHot food straight to the table. It is self service but they asked me to leave the places afterwards.Good service and THERE IS A MENU IN ENGLISHI ordered pad thai and tom yum and there were loads of prawns on both dishes. Large portions and authentic Thai flavours.I am glad the older reviews did not put me off checking this place out! Good or bad service, the food is good and very reasonably priced for Stockholm!

Ok good but poor customer interaction. I arrived at 9 to be told it was take away only (closes at 10). Had the takeaway and ate it on the street. Not typically Thai hospitality

Very lovely interior and great food. Theres a good variety of options, including a small selection of dumplings on the menu. Miso soup included with meals. Very generous portions for a decent price, and cooked amazingly fast!

Customer interaction is very poor. I ordered 12 Nigiri portion and 13 dumpling portion to takeaway. They’ve put only 10 Nigiri and 10 dumplings in the portions. Usually this doesn’t happen in Sweden. So checked only after arriving at the apartment. They charged me for the original order

I should say this restaurent needs to know a bit of customer interaction and service. No where near the service offered by other Asian restaurents. 2 starts for the food should say the chef is decent.

The place is right next to the central station, its small, good for a quick lunch or dinner. They serve good thai food, not pricey, but dont expect anything fancy.

Worst service. Needs to undergo basic training values as they do not value their customers’ concerns. Not approachable employees at all. Save your time and money if you do not want to lose your appetite.

Very Thai flavors, and menu is more interesting than regular Thai restaurants. Good quality. Good price. I like it

Tried Red curry chicken, green curry chicken, stir fry chicken with cashew nut, tomyum goong. They are authentic Thai, delicious and fulfilled my cravings for Asian food. The food is average spicy for Thai standard, which is much more spicy than other Thai/Chinese restaurant Ive tried in Stockholm. After reading the comments here, we lowered our expectation of their service, and decided not to ask the counter too many questions, and therefore, we feel the service is the same as other restaurants, not bad. So, we really enjoyed the food. The price is $, about 40% cheaper than other Asian restaurants nearby. So, do it give it a try. :)

I hate this restaurant. I dont recommend it to a travellers like me. The servers are not approacheable. So I tell you not to go here if you dont want to be disappointed of their Attitude. They dont even smile at you. They also put spices in your food even it is not stated in the menu.I think one day this restaurant will bankcrupt because of how they treat their customers, looks like they are always looking for a war.😁😁😁

Service was really awful, very unfriendly, and no service minded at all. When my friend asked for extra plates, she was told with a very nasty tone of voice. Low class employees.I and friends were the 1st customer but the foods service were horrible especially served rice was cool and hard.The WORST EVER THAI RESTAURANT!! I had in Sweden. I will not recommend neither go again to this restaurant. You can get much better served with a friendly and good foods around at the area.

Quick tasty food, and easy going. Probably not the place to go for a restaurant sit down, and I was there before dinner time so dont know if it gets too busy.

Really bad service and really cold attitude. Unpleasant experience. Dont want to give even one star. Im not a traveler but will not go there again.

Portions are very big. You will not be hungry. Rather cheap and simple place. Food is simple too. Kind of fast food style.

Fast great food at the central station

Beef noodle soup is super sweet! SWEET like a dessert. Miso soup is cold. Rice is hard. One of the worse thai food ever..

Both, the front lady taking orders and the older lady in the kitchen completely horrible. A total disaster. Zero tolerance to wait on people. I was so disappointed I took my gf there just to grab some quick warm soup. My gf was mistreated by these two arrogant women’s incompetent behavior. My Asian gf wasn’t sure about ordering the noodle soup or the pho and asked which one was better to which she was told to look at the menu in a very nasty tone of voice. And, again when we ordered a drink we got more crappy attitude. I regretted ever going there. Low class employees.

Thai food that are conveniently placed just outside the train station.

A small thai restaurant just outside central station with few tables setup inside. You need order the food and beverages at the counter, pay in advance and pick your food the counter once served. Portions served and taste is good for the reasonable price paid. Restaurant lacks cleanliness and seems cramped because of the table arrangement.

Avoid! Bad food and worse service. Staff mostly interested in chatting among themselves. Customers are a nuisance and the food an afterthought.

Food was good, but the service was awful. My family and I dined-in and the 2 ladies behind the counter were very unfriendly. They made me feel like I was wasting their time. :-/

Eat here often as it is close to TC (T-centralenand that you get food quickly. Large partions and pretty good food.

As a Thai person, I brought my Swedish friend there just to try some Thai food. Once I got into the restaurant, I talked to them in Thai language asked if theres any recommendation, they replied like recommendations? just look at the menu another one added yeah, why cant they just look at the menu? then the first one said Gosh, Im tired enough but theyre asking about the menu which shows above? Well, I know some Thai women came here to work and they might have a bad lifetime or want to make money for the living. I know living in Sweden is not as easy as in Thailand. But why should you be rude to your customers when you can be nice instead? I didnt say anything but walk out and never go back again. WORST

Unfortunately a negative experience. The servant got angry on us for using the wrong container for the sauce, and the food was far too hot and chili even though it didn’t have any chili mark. The plates are large though so at least you get full after your dinner.

-BAD SERVICE-have to get scold before you get your foods-the staff at the reception has really BAD ATTITUDE-the restaurant is empty, we paid the money, and they still FORGET OUR FOODS- WORSE EXPERIENCE-WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Menu only in Swedish, staff almost does not speak English. It is really hard to order anything there.

The staff seem to be very upset about something. Theyre not service minded at all. You can get much better sushi served with a smile not far from here.

The food was good, but not amazing. Portions were a bit small (the curry at least). They were also out of tofu, which was a small problem. If your Swedish isnt great, they have a menu in English, but there might be trouble ordering in English (there was a bit for us).

Its fine to have ordinary food, not cool to have unprofessional staffs.

If you want a fast take away or eat there with okay Thai food for okay price it is place to be. If you want high quality and hype go somewhere else.
