Description
Privilege
Very nice and modern looking place, great food and drinks, really big portions. We enjoyed it a lot!
MoreBeautiful views 😍 with amazing service! Thank you Wiktoria for your excellent customer service! Food was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious 😋 highly recommend and worth the wait!
MoreDecent European food and good value for money.Only criticism was the grilled chicken dish was slightly on the dry end and a bit underwhelming. While in the pork and mushroom creamy dish, the mushrooms tasted quite strong but that’s my personal tastebuds.
MorePlace is beautiful and stylish, we’ve really enjoyed it. Beef steak and ribs are delicious and not expensive. Recommend!
MoreWe ordered waffles for breakfast. but the waffles were very oily, it is impossible to eat.But very nice restaurant and great view
MorePerfect! Enormous sizes, impossible to east everything 😀 super delicious, we had omelette, eggs benedict and granola and everything was perfect. Very good coffee too👌🏼
MoreAside from the food and room aestethics, which are absolutely lovely are the waiter great. But you have to know that you need a lot of time when you go there. They will tell you how long you have to wait to get a table and how long the food will take as well. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and the food was great.
MoreLovely place to eat.The service is the best, professional waitresses who is smiling (not many place that happen in Poland). The food was brilliant both their breakfast but also the dinner, and the cocktails was delicious. You gets a lot of food for almost no money, in some great atmosphere. All in all a place how has to be on your need to visit place.
MoreVery tasty dishes, great salad! We also had breakfast over there! Cocktail mix of sparkling wine and juice is a funny start of the day 🤪
MoreGreat place! Amazing dishes and service. I advise to make a reservation because always is queue. The best restaurant in Gdansk and Torun
MoreVery classic Polish style steak tartare, great beef cheeks (just the beetroot was too sweet for my taste), pork tenderloin was nice too.As vege options we tried fried mushrooms and goat cheese salad, very delicious. And a cheesecake for dessert. We were 3 ppl so had a chance to try many dishes.I highly recommend the cocktails there. Basil one is great, not sweet and very refreshingDont be afraid of the line, it goes fast!To sum up great outstanding food for reasonable price!
MoreOne of the best Polish food we had. The waitress, Marcelima was very accomodating to us. Big portion of food. Highly recommended when you visit Gdansk.
MoreAmazing place , great service , huge breakfast portions , super cheap , totally recommended ☝️☝️
MoreFirst I ordered a soup from menu but only this item was not available. So I decided to order something traditional from Poland, it was mashed potatoes and polish pulled pork. It was not possible to eat potatoes because it was full of uncooked pieces of potato and the meet was like youre chewing a boot, hard and burnt. I think its really unacceptable for such a restaurant where people standing in queue to be sitted! But my daughter got tasty truffle pasta.
MoreBeautiful place, beautiful breakfast! Waffles with poached eggs and some added magic! Yuuum! Also in breakfast set you get coffee and juice or mimosa. The only thing is super slow service, however also super nice ☺️
MoreThe portion was huge, however, the salad and salmon didnt look very fresh. The salmon was a bit dried up and the salad leaves were brownish.
MoreWhat a wonderful place. The waiters are beautiful the drinks are perfect & the food is great. We spent the best evening in Gdansk at this restaurant!
MoreWe had breakfast today at this restaurant. Service was quite good and prices were very reasonable. I was surprised that for a dinner reservation you had to wait at least one week although they served pancakes almost cold.
MoreDue to its popularity, there was some queue time before we were served a table. While waiting, we received some white wine as a "thank you" gift 🤩Food was amazing and so was the staff for recommending food and drinks 🤩
MoreOne of the best places I’ve dined in Gdańsk 😊, there might be a waiting line, but I advise to wait a little, it is worth it 🫶 if you love Vietnamese/Thai cuisine- try thai fettuccine!
MoreThe worst customer service experience in Gdańsk since 8 days of stay in the city.I have been in many places in Gdańsk from Posh Posh places up to night kebab places and even kebab places do their customers experience way better than this place. I came from the hotel Medusa that is right next to it - cause clients of the hotel can have their dinner here at the restaurant- and when I came nobody showed me the place where I can sit, I need to show it and ask is it free by myself. And when I sit I was waiting for the Waiter to come around 3 minutes because two other waiters just was standing 2 meters from me at the reception desk with the 3rd waiter and just talking about something, and when I asked to serve me, they told me “you need to wait” - but I have a question, wait for what?
MoreDelicious breakfast for about 40 zl only..
The name of the restaurant is Chleb i Wino, however, the restaurant doesn’t bake it’s own bread, uses usual toast bread from the convenience store. Food in general is below average. Service is not bad. In general, nothing special, I would not recommend this place and would not come again.
MoreNice food and Service. Loin Steak on a hot stone was delicious and the quality of the meat very good. The kids menu is served with a toy car and the chicken nuggets consists of real meat 😀, not fake meat. All in all a nice restaurant visit
MoreOne of best restaurants whatsoever, terrific breakfasts, fantastic desserts, huge delicious salads. Thats a pity we couldnt dine here in the evening, the place is always fully booked, and there are even queues to do. Next time we come to Gransk, we will take good care in advance. Highly recommending! Prices are absolutely affordable, too.
MoreI honestly dont understand the positive reviews. Maybe the cook just had a bad day, but we waited 50 minutes for our fish and it ended up to be the worst meal we ate in Gdansk. I dont recommend eating here. The only positive thing was the service, our waitress was very polite. She would deserve five stars, however the food ruined our experience. It definitely did not match the price.
MorePretty tasty, big portions.I dont really understand why the restaurant has such a high rating, but in general you can come sometimes
MoreAwesome breakfast and kind staff. Highly recommend!
Amazing breakfast! We took the Benedictine waffles and it was really good! Big portions and decent price! Good coffee also.
MoreThe place is cozy and almost always crowded. The food is tasty and the portions are quite big. The dishes are interesting combinations of various ingredients. In photos: pasta sepia with shrimp and chorizo, asparagus soup.Minus one star for the fact that we were seated and had to wait quite a long time to get menus (we had to ask for them as the hostess admitted she forgot about usand we also had to wait quite some time to be served (raising hands didnt help much). And the music was a bit too loud.Overall, its a place worth visiting.
MoreDelicious meals, really nice place with great and highly satisfying breakfast.
Very tasty and big breakfast for a good price
Food is very delicious and staff is quite nice and helpful. Liked a lot!!!
A very tasty breakfast and great cocktails. I ordered the Hennessy Hero Sour and the Fords Gin Bramble with my eggs Benedict waffles. All was very tasty highly recommend!!!!!
MoreThe food was delicious and the place is great. Out waitress was really nice
Huge portions and super stylish place, food could be a bit better though, crispier waffles, less soggy toppings, fresher salad. Juices were lukewarm and from a carton.
MoreNothing much. I really enjoy the starters but I didnt like the main dishes. The service wasnt very polite and the prices more expensive than the rest places in gdansk
MoreThe food was beautiful, Lovely waitress and yummy drinks. I definitely recommended.
MoreAmazing breakfast and extremely good value! Just PLN 39 for a huge portion of waffels with bacon, eggs benedict, salmon, coffee and juice! Food was a little slow to arrive, so maybe not the place if you are in a hurry. But we really enjoyed eating brunch here.
MoreBest breakfast/brunch tried in Gdansk! The atmosphere is very cozy and luxurious at the same time. Couldnt ask for more and the price was just a cherry on top! Will come again when visiting Gdansk.
MoreAt first both the place and the attention of the waitress seemed good. But, within 20 minutes of ordering, they brought us the "salmon and avocado tartare" that we ordered (you can see it in the photo. Not finding the avocado anywhere, we discussed it to a waiter and he said he would change it. To our surprise, after another 15 minutes of waiting, they brought us the same tartare, which is the simple one. When we told our waitress, she replied that "that was the avocado" (pointing to the layer of cucumber that surrounded the tartar. Also, I am attaching a photo from a review that I found with the avocado tartare, so ours really wasnt.). We decided to stay with it because in addition, when they brought us the second wrong tartar, the waitress told us that the main ones were already there, if we wanted them or wanted to wait for them. Of course we said to wait as the starter had just arrived. To our second surprise, when the primary ones were brought in, they were overheated. Since by eye the salmon was dry and the duck burned, but it was when I tried the salad that accompanied the salmon when I realised that the food had been overheated because it was hot and not fresh; in addition to the duck potatoes that had a strange layer outside like of having been reheated. To sum up, very cool place but we would not repeat, expensive for the service we received
MoreAwesome experience. The food was really good for the price and the waitress (kacpergave us really good recommendations. He encouraged us to try the beef cheek and they were absolutely awesome. He also advised us to try the soup of the day (which was awesomeand gave us relevant information of almost every dish, which we really appreciated and made us enjoy even more the food.
MoreFriend suggested this place and I DONT regret coming here.. Very delicious breakfast, only 35zł. Originally second waffle should have came with Salmon, but I dont eat it.You also get Juice AND coffee with your food, thats nice.Staff is also friendly and speaks good English.Definitely recommend this place ❤️
MoreThe best restaurant in Gdansk!!We took breakfast there then came back for lunch without any hesitation 😍 Everything was just soo DELICIOUS, PROFESSIONAL and perfect!I recommand 200%!!
MoreMy first dinner in Gdansk and it was pretty bad. Food take ages to be serve.Pork dish (similar to Schnitzel - worst I had. Hard like a cardboard, thick coating and tasted strange. U need more drink to down it.Beef cheek - taste OK. A bit chewy and not tender.Duck confit - best among the tree. Tasty and beetroot was quite yumDefinitely wont be coming back
MoreSo… the location and view - amazing!Food was delicious but it was served cold unfortunately. The service….. probably our server woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, cause she had an attitude. Bit rude and arrogant. The first server that approached us, was very sweet and charming, but the one who was serving us - WASN’T!The three stars are for the experience with the server and the cold food.
MoreIt was absolutely amazing! One portion of breakfast with coffee and juice only for 35zl! And that taste! Gorgeous! I havent got enough superlatives, which this restaurant belong to. Love whole this place, nice staff, location, atmosphere... 💕
MoreFood was okay but not worth the price. We ordered poached eggs with guaca toast. slightly disappointed with a bread (was expecting nice Polish bread, instead served on white toastand guaca tasted a bit like it was pre-made or bought from the shop, again, freshly made would have been amazing. Well cooked eggs. Chalka - was a better choice, well presented and tasted good with fresh fruits, honey and yog.
MoreVery recommendable place. We were led to this place by the recommendations given by others, and we were not disappointed. As we arrived, we had to wait until we were seated as there was a queue of costumers (which is actually a good sign!). We heard that this happens regularly. Our waiting time was „shortened“ by a bit of mulled wine that a waiter offered to everyone in the queue! We ordered a 3 course menu. Everything was spot on, only the beef cheeks were slightly overcooked. Nevertheless, everything was tasty. All in all, it’s still 5/5 stars, especially as the service was really spot on!(Considered and graded as a traditional restaurant)
MoreAll good. Very nice food and staff. We had a bottle white soav wine, which was lovely. A starters and mains, with the pork wrapped in bacon with blue cheese sauce was especially good. We had a vegetarian in the group and they also had a lovely meal. I would definetely come back.
