Excellent food and service. Friendly staff.

Coffee was weak and there a clump of dirt in the mushroom on toast that we unfortunately bit into.

Staff in the store (gift shopare extremely rude. Really put us off from buying anything and left us feeling very upset.

as far as i’m concerned, there’s nowhere better to get lunch in taupō. atmosphere, people watching, no frills fare done well. shockingly lowprices! whites aviation to interest. the store is lovely and full of bits you don’t see in every other home store.

Amazing menu and cabinet food. Hard to choose it’s so good. Very busy at 9.30am Sunday but our meals came out in a timely manner, staff smiling and lovely bantering with our group.

Replete is our Go To cafè in Taupo although, in fairness, we havent tried many. The location is primo, sunny side of the street, lots of seating and away from the perpetual cold wind that any place with a lake view will reward you with. The food selection is fantastic with a good mix of healthy and indulgent fare. Coffee is about an 8 out of 10. Only downside is the rabbit warren, past bustling staff, to find a loo ~ but thats not why we go to a cafè, is it? Judging by the healthy resident sparrow population this locale is very popular. Certainly spacious enough to have children with you and not fret about being close to the road.

Incredibly delicious food here! The Moroccan lamb salad and the Boston beans are top notch.

Lunch stop, after a couple of hours driving, you need to stop and refuel.This is a great place to do it.

This is a favorite place of mine every time we visit Taupo. The food is of the highest quality, healthy, tasty and simple. Highly recommend a visit for breakfast or lunch. You wont be disappointed.

This is our go to stop every time we pass through Taupo. Great food and coffee. The shop is also lovely! We were just there on Saturday and I left my wallet behind, not realising until I was half way to Auckland! They very kindly couriered it to me and it has arrived super quick. Thanks so much for the great service!

Dont usually come around this way but just so happen to be in area. Great coffee and large variety of cabinet foods available. Staff very friendly so thank you team. Great decor. Family loved it.... Thumbs up!

Compulsory visit for the Thai chicken curry. They have been serving this dish for over 20 years and every time Im passing through, they never let me down. Peerless in Taupo.

Pretty average to be honest, I had the creamy mushrooms on toast and the whole thing was lukewarm at best - the plate was warmer than the food. The taste was ok but bland. My dad had the big breakfast and it was very middle-of-the-road too. I probably wouldnt go back simply due to the quality of the food vs the price, BUT the service and seating was really pleasant. It seemed pretty popular so maybe it was just an off morning for them.

Was so good we went back the next day. Really yummy food, coffee is really really good. Service was fantastic, all the staff were helpful and super friendly. Good value, I even had to buy extras to take home.

Probably the best lunch I have had in Taupo so far. The ginger latte is spicy and warming, the cappuccino smooth and tasty, and both the kedgeree and Moroccan lamb salad were perfect.Plus they have sufficient sugar and sweeteners at the table, a rare treat where most cafes apportion these precious sachets…

Friendly service. The food was good. Coffee hot. Could sit on the sidewalk area and enjoy the view. Nice spot. Especially the wee sparrows who were very cute

Really loved this spot. Friendly staff and all the food was delicious. Best almond croissant I’ve ever had (and I’ve had manyand the kimchi noodles were so good! The little deli/store is also great

If youre a snowboarder or skier on the way to the mountain, stop off here to feed your hungry mob. We had lasagnes, Mediterranean baps toasted, Kiwi Cubans, gluten free lemon slices and carrot cake washed down with a good dose of caffeine, almond iced chocolates and chai. Food was great, coffees were fantastic and the girls really helpful. The only slight bummer was a very small selection of gluten free food, but dont let that put you off getting here. This place is probably a secret the locals dont want you to find out about ...

We went to different cafes for lunch in Taupo. This is the best. Hot coffee, beef rendang has enough spices and a bit of heat. Ham and cheese roll from shelf is good . Poached eggs on gluten free bread.

Wide variety of cabinet food, couldn’t get better food as Vegan Keto diet with so less choices of food when eating out. Quite a few keto options, delicious keto slices and amazing Coffee. We all enjoyed lovely food, great service and super friendly staff🤗

Poached eggs were lovely. Coffee was not strong. Bacon should be advertised as being cooked on charcoal. Gives the bacon a dirty burnt taste and I wouldnt have spent $6 if I knew this was cooked this way. I complained and this was all I was told. No offer of a refund.

I always return when in Taupo. A great cafe with wide selection of food and great coffee. The connected gift shop is amazing too!

Delicious Boston Beans. Really tasty and didnt take too long even though they were fairly busy.

Unlike other nearby places, their menu has variety. The food was very tasty, as you may expect, it was very busy and despite this the staff got the food out quick. They also sell spices and have a kinda half shop going on, its a unique and good atmosphere.

Best Mochas in Taupo!Great big breakfast to set you up for the day or if you like Blue Frog Cereal (best by farfor those needing something lighter.Great service and the attached gift shop is worth a walk around as a fantastic range at realistic prices.Easy parking and access and super friendly staff.

Great spot! Heaps on offer in terms of drinks and food. Had the oat slice which was so good!! Definitely recommend coming here for anyone wanting a quick feed for any meal or snack

lovely breakfast but my pot of tea was too weak and not very hot.. but filled the spot before our return ride home in crappie weather...

The lady at the counter was nice to start off. I ordered an iced coffee without cream. The lady served my coffee after a good 20mins wait (there weren’t a lot waiting in line..and my coffee had cream, so the lady didn’t appologize and just took my coffee back and bought me with another coffee which tasted burnt and not presentable either. Tasted like espresso and ice grounded bland coffee (literally).. Not recommended and disappointed at the level of service and quality..

Really good service, friendly international servers.Great coffee, try their flatwhite.After 12 yrs in the USA this place delivered on the want for a sausage roll with their giant "replete pastry". The mega grain roll was awesome.This area reminds me somewhat of Lake Tahoe.So good we decided to revisit this year 2018, great kale salad . A good salad is hard to find in the land of the long White cloud.

Met up with friends here for a late lunch after snowboarding at Whakapapa. We arrived just in time since they were about to stop their lunch menu. They did have items in the cabinet which also looked quite nice. I had the Kedgeree and Snickers Milkshake. Both were delicious. The snickers milkshake was like liquid snickers. The kedgeree has nice pieces of fish but I thought that the rice was a tad hard for my liking. Also thought the portions were a bit small.A really nice place for a bite since the food is nice and the staff is friendly. Another upside is that there is a food store on the other side of the cafe by the toilets. Nice to peruse through some of their interesting foodstuffs.

Excellent service and food. Best mocha I have had. Though they have a long queue when we arrived, their staff efficiency were superb. Their serving time were very fast even though the cafe was packed with customers. Would definitely recommend this place.
