Rena Studios in Kos

Kamer was niet schoon en werd ook bijna niet schoongemaakt elke la die je open trok lag afval of zand in van de vorige mensen. Als je ging douche kwam je er viezer uit dan je erin ging tevens sta je ook met 1 voet tijdens het douche in het toilet zo klein is de badkamer. Geen thee doek of vaatdoek aanwezig om achteraf je toilet te drogen na het douche zodat je daar normaal gebruik van kon maken.. gebruik je een handdoek en maak je er perongeluk een vlek in word de eigenaar boos en gaat hij om verhaal vragen. Na 2 dagen toch maar een klacht ingediend waardoor hij de laatste dag een email ontving met onze klacht en boos verhaal kwam halen en op intimiderende manier ons aansprak.

meest waardeloze accommodatie ooit !letterlijk smerig, beddengoed smoezelig, koelkast ranzig, badkamer kom je bijna smeriger uit dan je erin gaat…..om te douchen sta je bijna met 1 voet in de wc pot, alleen handdouche dus zelf vasthouden.handdoek wissel blijkbaar alleen op aanvraag en dan nog liever niet !ga hier ook niet eten, kok in de keuken zonder shirt met bezweet bovenlijf.dit is maximaal een halve ster waard, grote boog omheen gaan

The hotel was very bad no services at all even the bed was making noises and there were dogs next to the hotel that were barking all night and the owner of the hotel was not nice. I booked from 24/7 to 08/31 and I arrived at the hotel on the morning of 7/25 and there was no one at the reception. The owner of the hotel made me leave the room at 10 in the morning 8/31 and my fourth flight was in the morning 1/8 and asked me to sit in the reception more than 15 hours outside the room, which was not nice, which made me go to another hotel and take a room for one day for 243 euros. The island is wonderful but the hotel is very bad and I would not advise anyone to go to Rena Studios.Hotellet var mycket dåligt ingen service alls även sängen gjorde ljud och det fanns hundar bredvid hotellet som skällde hela natten och ägaren till hotellet var inte trevlig. Jag bokade från 24/7 till 08/31 och jag kom till hotellet på morgonen den 25/7 och det fanns ingen i receptionen. Ägaren till hotellet fick mig att lämna rummet klockan 10 på morgonen 31/8 och mitt fjärde flyg var på morgonen 1/8 och bad mig sitta i receptionen mer än 15 timmar utanför rummet, vilket inte var trevligt, vilket fick mig att gå till ett annat hotell och ta ett rum för en dag för 243 euro. Ön är underbar men hotellet är mycket dåligt och jag skulle inte råda någon att gå till Rena Studios.

Einfache, aber schöne Unterkunft. Da wir so viele negative Rezensionen gelesen haben, die evtl. einen komischen Eindruck hinterlassen (wir hatten auch lange überlegt, ob wir das hier nehmen), wollen wir von unseren Eindrücken schreiben.Wir kamen mit wenig Erwartung, sind dafür sehr positiv überrascht worden. Wir hatten einen freundlichen Empfang vom Besitzer.Die Zimmer sind sauber, mit Küche und Kühlschrank, Schrank und Esstisch - also für uns alles, was wir brauchten.Das absolut Highlight ist die Lage - nachts ruhig mit Grillenzirpen. Zwar bellen auch Mal Hunde, was wir aber nicht als störend empfanden. Morgens konnten wir, wenn wir zeitig wach waren, einen tollen Sonnenaufgang vom Balkon erblicken und abends sind es nur ca. 100 m zu einem einsamen Strand mit tollem Sonnenuntergang.Es liegt ein wenig außerhalb der Stadt, ist aber gut fußläufig oder mit Fahrrad erreichbar. Für uns ideal, keine laute Partymusik oder Straßenlärm abends oder nachts. Also sehr erholsam.Wir würden die Unterkunft erneut wählen, wenn wir auf Kos sind.

O kadar pis bir yer ki, resimlere ve fiyata kanıp oraya kadar yorulmayın. Maalesef yaşı ile hiç doğru orantılı olmayan suratsız ve paragöz bir işletme sahibi var. Türklerle ilgili geçmişten gelen ciddi bir problemi olsa gerek! Bu ve benzeri sorunlar yüzünden kalmayıp başka bir yerde konakladık.

Dla turystów którzy nie oczekują dużych wymagań, czysto i spokojnie , blisko do piaszczystej plaży, daleko do centrum na piechotę ale są rowery do wypożyczenia za 3.5 euro. Wystawiam 5 stars bo właściciel Sie stara mimo trudnych czasów ciągnie ten wózek.

Ik ben hier afgelopen jaar geweest. Een groot compliment voor de service!! Enorm vriendelijke gastvrouw!Voor onze vlucht terug, zouden we met de taxi naar het vliegveld gebracht worden, deze kwam echter niet opdagen. De gastheer heeft ons toen naar het vliegveld gebracht!Het zwembad was heerlijk tijdens de hittegolf, en gelukkig ook schoon!:)Wij zouden hier zeker terugkomen!

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, gute Lage, wenn man ein Fahrrad mietet, was sehr günstig ist. Der Pool ist gepflegt. Im Studio hat Mal alles, was man braucht: Wasserkocher, Herdplatten, Besteck und Geschirr. Die Matratze war gut. Kein Luxus, aber für den Preis sehr gut. Gerne wieder!

Friendly owners rooms fairly clean towels a bit tatty worst part is around 2 mile walk to nearest restaurant and 2 miles back along a not well lit lane

Pros- Nice enough owners, Susannah & Cosmas, a married couple. Cosma appears a little standoffish- One of the cheaper locations (but not as cheap as it should be, as youll soon read)- An oddly extensive selection of pots and pans under the sink- Room is cleaned with some regularityCons- A toilet that rarely flushes properly- One single usable plug socket by the door. It looks like it hasnt been serviced in a long time- No soap in bathroom or means to clean anything in the apartment - a bit of a pain for self- catering and not cool during the COVID era- The endless sound of barking dogs, late into the night and early morning. This can be heard through the windows. I later learned that they are located by what I think is a dog sanctuary- You have to pay extra for air conditioning (someone said that this is common here, but the owners didnt tell me until I had arrived)- No wifi in your room (though you can get it in the common area)Please note that this review is framed somewhat by the fact I had to head back home early and they wouldnt provide even a partial refund for the days I couldnt use.Rarely in my experience has the phrase you get what you pay for been felt on such a visceral level. On balance, I would not recommend that you stay here. They are not that much cheaper than the competition; pay a little more and you should get a lot more.

Love the Rena Studios the people who own it could not be kinder have stayed here twice and will definitely be going back

Very Nice place. Beautiful and friendly people

We chose the Rena studios as it was somewhere to rest our head and it had a swimming pool. The pool is a salt water pool, which avoids the problems with chlorine. It was of a reasonable size and not overly busy, so good for a nice relaxing dip.The room was more than adequate, with a wardrobe, fridge that had a small freezer compartment, cooking rings, a kettle, a table and chairs and bedside table. We paid the extra for the ac, which was quite reasonable at 6 euros a day. Outside was an airer for drying clothes.The owners were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to chat which they could do in multiple languages. We paid for a late check out which was very reasonably priced and was allowed to keep the room right up until we left. We enjoyed our time at the Rena studios.

Rena Studios is a quiet and small place only 100 meters away from the beach. The air conditioner is 6 euros/night extra if you need it. If not, you will have hundrets of moscito bites :DIt was very kind of the owner that we were allowed to stay in our room until 4pm on the departure day without an extra fee because our flight was quite late in die evening.The room was not clean but okay, and there was no room cleaning during our whole stay (5days). Also no change of the towels. When we asked for new towels, they gave us some but werent amused about our question.

Run by a lovely couple. Cleaned every day. Snacks available at reasonable price. Good 2 star self catering accomodation

Good cheap and quiet place to stay. Friendly family business with fresh home made food.

Only got 1 change of towels in 2 weeks ,top sheet changed once after we protested,but same bottom sheet over whole time and not clean to start with. Thousands of ants finally they gave us a can of insect killer. We where disappointed as we went back as we had lovely holidays previous years.

Went here with friends for couple of days, hosts where really kind and helped us where they could. Overall we had a lovely stay.Pros:- Hosts are really helpful & friendly- On-site bike rental- Clean swimming pool- Studio got cleaned almost every day- Price quality ratio is really good- Calm environment- Close to city Kos & the seaCons:- Pay for airconditioning (€8,00 per night)- Showering area is quite small- The bathroom in one of our studios couldnt be locked

Overduidelijk een 2 sterren studio, de douche en wc-ruimtes zijn niet gescheiden van elkaar en de ruimte waar je kunt staan bij het douchen is ongeveer een halve meter bij een halve meter. De mensen zijn heel erg vriendelijk en meelevend, en geven graag advies. Aangegeven staat dat er airconditioning aanwezig is, maar blijkt dat je er 6 euro per nacht voor moet betalen. Hier zijn makkelijk fietsen te huren.

Couldnt ask for more. Lovely people. Lovely quiet. Only issue is with transfer who dumped me alone end of road. But lovely welcome and food even though i was late arrival. Dont miss out. I will return and recommend to friends

Alles war soweit gut, aber ich würde dieses Hotel nie weiter empfehlen. Das Badezimmer ist zwar hygienisch gehalten, aber überhaupt nicht komfortabel. Die Fläche zum Duschen beträgt ca. Einen halben Quadratmeter. Der WLAN empfang ist schrecklich. Es gibt keinen Föhn und keinen Fernsehen. Ich würde das Hotel höchstens jungen Menschen mit niedrigeren Ansprüchen weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war jedoch sehr freundlich.

Basic accomodation but clean and tidy. Susanna and cosmos attended to all our needs. A good base to explore from. The pool was nice and clean. Close to shops and restaurants. Cant fault the place at all.

Was a terrible studio, just look at the pictures, dangerous, lack of hygiene, awful, and needless to say was waaay to overpriced, was a horrible experience, the extension cable almost blown up in my fiancees hand, we had to ask, as there was only one wall socket in it. Avoid it.

Definitely a 2* room. But certainly 5* for the overall stay. Lovely, lovely people - couldnt be more friendly and helpful! Loved our stay there.

Very simple. Dirty surfaces, old mattresses and the cleaning lady didnt clean our room at all in those eight days we spent there. Uncomfortable environment over all.

just bliss to stay here we have stayed here couple of years ago ,,but always go back to the pool side if we dont get in ,,,,the pool is just bliss no matter how hot the weather is ,,,cleaned ,,no scum on water from lotions
