No. 18 & 19,, Jalan Maju Barat,, Taman Maju, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia, Yong Peng
Set in a busy commercial area, this casual hotel in a low-rise building is 2 km from Federal Route 5, 3 km from Wet World Batu Pahat Village Resort and 4 km from Tasik Y park.Straightforward rooms, some with colourful accents, feature free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as en suite wet rooms. Upgraded rooms add windows with city views. Family rooms also offer extra beds, sleeping up to 4 guests.Parking is complimentary. There's a cafe with outdoor seating.
Overall good experience, but rain ruined the roof
Hotel is good, but service of the same is not up to standard. Bar attenders response was very cheap.
Bed and linen not fresh. Bath accessories not maintained. Slow sleepy service. One man show. Good location.
Good Hotel, lil far from airport and railway station but good stay, superb food !
Waste Management and Worst experience. They kept my car key for moving car. as the parking space is less and they kept dent and scratches. Found when I was about to leave early morning. Questioned them as no one there except 1 staff person and promised they settle the matter once I submit Bill. But after submitting bill no one lifting my call and no response for whatsapp. Really worst experience ever. Un professional behavior from No18 Team. Its your own risk
This was a good hotel in Fort kochi. Rooms and the service was very good. But food was better
I Would say this is the best party happening place Party lovers its okay. but based on food and service I dont recommend. Good location 📍 for DJ party.
I liked the butter garlic calamari rings the best!
The menus options are an excellent value. The bar experience overall is very pleasant.I highly recommend this hotel.
Not at all maintained . Bed sheets had mites . Location was good though
- Rooms are big and clean.- No restuarant or food services- Room Service is not good, no water bottle & bathroom sleepers given- Small Hotel but near to Fort Kochi Beach

All over full packages we can get near to this hotel.Thank you.
We were there on a business trip! One of our colleagues recommend this restaurant for dining with some beers. It was about 10 PM when we entered the restaurant and we immediately ordered multiple food dishes and 2 beers so that food will arrive one on one... the guy gave us the beers immediately and he took 20 mins to give us the 1st food order and within 10 mins after that he got all the order and said "sir 10 minute mein aap finis karna padega" and asked us for last beer ordere, thus we ordered 2 other beer but he arrived with 1 beer and said "sir time hogaya aapko ek beer milega" we were literally forced to get out of the restaurant.I understand therere some law which doesnt allows and the restaurants has to be closed at an accurate time but my point is they shouldve told us rather taking orders! We had to waste some of our food and carried a one whole plate as take away!!!
Great Hotel, excellent amenities but the food at their restaurant was as bad as it gets
This is supposedly a 4-star hotel. It is built like so. But currently it is in very poor working condition supposedly because of covid shutdown. This is a brutal and honest review because the pictures of the hotel and descriptions are entirely misleading and will lead you to disappointment.First off, we reached during noon. No one was there to receive our luggage. No welcome drink, which is ok. The reception lobby had no AC on a hot day. The lift was poorly kept, you would find better lifts in 10 year old apartment buildings. The lobby leading to our room had no AC either for entire stay of 3 days.Coming to the room, it was well kept, okay on the space front. My wife being a cleanliness nut found it a little dirty but it seemed okay to me. Bathrooms health faucet stand was slightly broken. Toiletries standard was very poor, local stuff in a 4-star hotel. There was no mini-fridge in the room. AC unit was provided (no central coolingbut it worked very well - the only saving grace for the entire stay. Iron and ironing board were already present in the room. One morning, we found a big cockroach dead outside our door. A first. On the last night, the power went off. For one hour, it kept coming on and then off due to some problem they were trying to fix. No updates about the issue or later apologies were offered. A first in my life. The reception staff was usually not present at desk. They had no information on how go to Munnar from Kochi. The intercom network was not working in the hotel. You had to call a cell number directly.Wifi - network was mostly unreachable in our room and for 2 days they stated the network was out completely due to a maintenance problem.Again, I emphasize this is supposedly a 4-star hotel.
Im rating 1 for a few reasons1. NOT LGBT friendly, manager said it himself.2. Couples are preferred over single men. Enriches the ambience apparently.3. They give beach view to couples and not singles. Coz apparently only couples need a view. I would have understood if there was a requirement of pre-booking.4. Comments like "couples wont be comfortable around single men". Coz we are hungry wolves looking to pound. Offensive, but again thats his way of thinking & evidently demeaning.5. Delay in service even after making an order at the front desk.6. Over priced and a price tag for playing pool. Jeez! Its 2022 and a once fine bar in Kochi is regressing. Congratulations!Id always prefer the old service. No: 18 will be cherished. But not anymore.
Ennalum arum paranjilla, nammalottum arinjilla ! So many good vibes happening here , that I came to know via media ! So whoever made a private party here let wait for a knock in your door 🚪 So safety part I really happy😁 Best owner throwed all cctv camera footage to river 🙈🙈 making money is not an issue , do some party no issue , but blackmailing is really so cheap 😳
Food was delicious, ambience was good.. But there was just one staff who was running around, weekends are usually busy... 4 star just because of one staff running around the entire place, else it was a guaranteed 5...
Amazing place to stay with family and friends. Food was great and service was really good. Prime location in fort Kochi and you can go for peaceful evening walks by the beach. Overall a great place to stay.
I agree that the hotel is maintained much better than the most and do provide good service. I enjoyed their cafe and their hospitality. Although I would prefer a much better and cleaner wash room service (common washroomfrom such a large institute.
Stayed in their deluxe room for a day. Good hotel with decent amenities although upkeep could be better. The major plus is the location which is right in the middle of Fort Kochi. Also, the rooftop bar is quite happening.
Good food, good stay. Polite and supportive staff. After the debacle with another hotel, my wife and I came here for the stay. It was pretty late, but the staff ensured we were shown the rooms, blocked the room till we were back with our luggage. Though the kitchen was closed, they ensured they kept coffee and whatever we had ordered in the room, though we had not checked in officially. Why 4 stars? May be due to the less number of patrons, there were some overall maintenance issues this time. But, those never affected our stay. As I mentioned, the staff ensured we had a pleasant stay.
My daughter and I spent here one night - too short regretablly, I know - on February, 2020 as I was joining her and travelling with her. I really recommend the place. Very much so. The only questions are two: they sometimes have deals, so its hard to make a solid statement about value for money; and the location can be noisy, because its central, do that to is up to your preferences. But otherwise this is a whole heart recommendation.
Perfect location! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were welcomed with 2 cocktails and went straight to their club for karaoke singing! So much fun!Our double-bed room was very spacious and clean, the staff was beyond helpful, and was there for every request, going the extra mile to satisfy our needs. At night time we went to their Rooftop bar as well. I specifically recommend to try their Cafe place near the lobby - Qissa Café, very western. Me and my friend felt safe the entire stay. I recommend to call the place and book directly! It saved us 50$ from the cheapest website offering this hotel.
Decent place, the rooms are okay but not worth the price. Nice night club with good music. Party crowd is decent. The restaurant and cafe looks nice but the food is not good. Service sucks in all departments. The manager has no clue how to run this place. The staffs have no training on how to take order and serve. Would not recommend this place. The only recommendation is the nightclub.
Its new year party is a flop show. Please dont book it. They dont provide food to vegiterian people. Staff is very rude and uncooperative. They treat themself as customer and enjoy all facilities meant for customer. They eat the buffet before you and when you for buffet they tell thats its over you can eat salad, food is over. Staff is really shameless. staff will go to DJ before you and you will not feel like joining them. Management is good, but with such staff it is waste.
We recently stayed here for 5 nights. It was fairly quiet as end of season. Staff were fabulous, very friendly and helpful, all pretty casual and we really felt part of the family. Amenities in the rooms are perfect, the grounds are tranquil, pool was lovely! The food in the restaurant was superb, excellent choices and very tasty. All in all a marvellous relaxing stay...
We stayed in this hotel on a family trip to Kerala. As we landed in Kochi, No. 18 was the first hotel we checked in and I have to say it was the best! We were a total of 13 members and had booked 4 rooms for 2 days. The hospitality ethics of the staff are so charming, they are very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great! The restaurant food is just amazing and worth trying! Service is quick and efficient. Rooms are beautiful, very calming, neat and tidy. The overall interior as well as exterior of the hotel is 5 star! All the staff members and the managers are very friendly and kind-hearted and will do the best to make your stay blissful! Thanks to the entire team of No. 18 Hotel!
