Very poorly maintained premise. Planetorium was once an exciting place to visit in childhood. The planetorium show was really good in those old days.Nowadays the seating has changed and the show became total waste due to improper way of arrangements there. There should have been age wise entry for various shows there.There is lack of staff for proper maintanence.Many items in the fun science roomare under maintanence. The park surrounding the site is not clean.It would be better if there is someone to look after and explain things to visitors.Visitors,majority being childrens are unaware of how to use or understand the things displayed there.As there is no one to look after ,many things are not in good working condition. The planetorium show if possible should be in english too.The 3D show was good compared to other things there. Many scientific knowledge providing things are too old and rusty inside the park.The authorities should see into the matter more seriuosly and make an effort to preserve and maintain one of the best tourist and info giving spot in calicut.

The centre provides a perfect ambiance for exploring science through hands onexpositions ,Planetarium, HD 3D theatre etc. It presents a plethora of facilities to inculcate scientific attitude in society.

Good place for children. They provide different experience .Spend time with family in evening times.science park need some upgrading work.there is parking facility .

Regional Science Center and Planetarium is a good place to take your kids and for grown ups to be kids for a couple of hours. The facility is ideally located and has sufficient space unless otherwise overhauled by multiple schools choosing the same day for a visit. The idea to create awareness about science and teach the same through simple fun activities is great and such a facility is a must for any self respecting city. The problem as always with most of our public institutions is not in the idea, but in the execution and sustenance. The facility nearing two decades in age is showing all of it in the worst possible manner. The grounds, the equipment, the displays and mostly the 3D movie all need an update first and upgrade next. The neatness and functioning are critical to make this a must see place for all citizens and the visitors. There are laments of funding shortage, which in todays world shouldnt be such a problem. It is more about the desire and drive to run a facility that is a pride to the administration and the city. It should be recognized that with a unruly, enthusiastic kids running amok, it is not an easy job. But, then that is the whole point of the places existence, the enthusiasm and fun for the children.

Good place to spend some time. Lots of picnic team come here. You can spend about 2 hours hereWatching the planetarium show is a good experience. But, things are a bit old now.3D theatre showing the man reaching the moon for the first time is good. Sound system is of slightly bad quality.About 5 different exhibitions are there.Outside the building, there are many games for children.Great expectation before reaching here. Many of the exhibits are not working. Lack of maintenance.

Must visit place for students, they can experiment lot things as they learned from textbooks. Also, a nice place to hang out with family.Car parking is available inside the compound.

The place is good, but many things are broken and not maintained, may be due to lack of funds. Overall, they have made every effort to instill that scientific temper in the kids. Good place for outing, but needs some serious maintenance.

Best Space to spent with family and childrens.

Planetarium Calicut is one of the best tourist attractions in the city, especially for students. Here we can see all the laws related to physics.

Good infrasture and ideas, but no proper maintenance, most of the exibiteds are damaged, planitorium on half show electricity break down, then they said 15 minutes to run generator and restart show....funny but punishable offence they are doing with public money!!!!!If it could be a private venture it will touch sky, that much prime location and space avaible....when our systems will be okey dont know.

This is a great place to take your kids. It is also a place where children and adults can get to know each other and have fun together. There are 3d shows and palanitorum shows three times a day.There are lots of games for kids here, a big park and a nice parking area with plenty of fresh water all the time.

A place with a lot of knowledge. Students will get a benefit if they visit the planetarium. Also a small park for young children.

Very very poor maintenance. Planetarium not functioning. Entry ticket 60per head waste.I dont think why central government is functioning this much worst.Equipments are not working condition. Only few little bit working.Government or concern ministry should consider this one.Mirroring effects are all nice.Keeping photos and Flex is not much useful.For that children can see it from video or mobile. There they simply wasting space, time and money..Calm place.good parking and rest room.

Really good for kids. Dont miss the planetarium show. Also there are lot of activities and play area for kids.

This is a great place for kids. It is a centre for recreation and knowledge. There is a park for kids. Many stations are there where scientific laws are applied in to games. There is a model of pslv rocket in front of main building. The main building contain planetarium, a marine world model, astronomical museum, a 3d theatre, small aquarium and lot more. Highly recommended

Planetarium Calicut is the best tourist attraction of the city especially for students.3 D Show is not perfect. Clean and neat some machines are not working properly. Staffs are professional. Need to add more facilities for children. Even we enjoyed it.

A must visit place for school students and science enthusiasts. It is easily accessible since being located at a walkable distance from New bus stand.The children park here provides ample options to occupy children in a well maintained atmosphere.It has a science exhibition centre which gives us the opportunity to explore various scientific theories and concepts.I would recommend to take Rs 60 ticket to watch planetarium show which explains visually secrets of space and universe in a roof screen. This would help us to know more about the universe where we are living.Paid parking is available at very cheap amount of Rs 10 to park until leaving the planetarium without any time limit.

Very disorganised. The place has a shabby look. Theres no online booking.after all the trouble they said planetarium is full and only 3 d show tickets r available.

Its not well maintained , now vaccination certification is needed for adults , no 3D show but other things are here , The place is very useful for younger generations , it make our younger generation curious to our surroundings and build theirs scientific temper .

It is good place to visit with childrenThey can learn many science aspect. But today because of covid some of the services are not working viz 3D musuem. Also they must repair some machines.

Very gud informative place to have visit with any age of people . Very easy to understand science with practical examples all over the places. Everything inside is based on the science and explained perfectly. 3D show , planetarium, and science centre are main portions . There are lot magic of science waiting for u inside.Recently due to lack of maintenance some of the equipments doesnt work as earlier but still will.have a wonderful science journey.

A very nice place to spend time with your family. Ideal for kids and to get them curious about science. Lots of informative equipments and games. This place is usually crowded and you will find lots of school trips. The show about sun was really nice and informative.

An apt place for science enthusiast kids,as a seeker they could learn the base of science and other inventions..3D shows,mirror gallery,solar system, many more fun activities are provided here.. Also got a well maintained cafe & toilets!! Tickets are available at ₹60! Special concession for students with ID card of their respected institution!

Its place of beauty and facts ..well maintained ..with planetarium and 3Dshows available ..which is good to watch and well presented ..the place has a besutiful garden with few activities or rather objects of interest presented in between particularly of interest for children..they also have mirror magic and other presentation of various science subjects ..also a canteen facility is available..u could spend sn amble smount of time there if you are interested in reading and observing things there..

It was a great day that we enjoyed a day there in science centers with family by learning so many scientific things with experienceAnd after all it took a 30 minutes to get a taxi from there to railway station ...So I’m suggesting the concerned team to make sure the availability of taxi at the door to make the visitors more comfortable

Great place for children to explore the world of knowledge.It does have a 3D animation short movie which was surprisingly interesting.Planatorium show gave me a sleepy head probably Solar system is too much for my age 😂😂🤣.Best place to go with children to cherish their growth through health knowledge. They have some kids play areas and equipment too some are there for adults.

A must visit place for the science students. There are many objects and activities for the science students. Awesome experience of 3D show and Planetarium show. Must watch this. It is very cheap rate.. Maintenance required some sections of the planetarium. This place equally suited for the children and adults.

Very nice place. Students can enjoy the science facts through experience.

A good place to hangout and get some knowledge on science. The place is mostly for kids, especially the 3D show. You can learn some physics here with all the items around. There are also some animals and birds here, who are fun to watch. Overall, Id say this place is fantastic and great to bring your kids.

Good place for time pass...but its time consuming.Its effective.Well maintained museum, it is clean, nice 3D, planetarium show and aquarium to see.Its cheap.Lot of things to do inside it... although one of the nice places in Calicut.
