Outstanding restaurant for both excellent food and service. Caesar salad with chicken was great for a light dinner. All beef meals around us looked fantastic. Just a half block away from the Duomo plaza.

Amazing florentine steak to die for.. Their set for 2 is so worth it. The starters are quite filling, but try to save space for desserts as well, theyre a perfect finish to a wonderful meal. Best to call in advance for a reservation! Service was good, excellent recommendations for food and wine.

Excellent dinner experience here. Not used to the Florentine steak, there is an option to get a medium rare steak which was better cooked in the original Florentine steak. The awesome waitress Svetlana showed us two different steaks to choose from. We got wine 422 Chianti reserve which paired so well. The truffle gratin was an amazing side. The pasta with bisteca was great too.

They cancelled our reservation in last 3 days by only sending email which I don’t check frequently during my honeymoon. And now everywhere else is full. So disrespectful, this place deserve to lose its popularity.

Do NOT go here! I made this reservation a month ago and they cancelled day of. Did not even call, just sent an email “due to technical issues.” Don’t waste your time.

If you make a reservation they will cancel it without letting you know why. And you can only make a reservation way in advance. Very very bad service.

World class steak. The cheese cake was next level. Service was a little slow but why would you care. Perfect Italian feast.

Unfortunately a very so-so experience. The setting is fantastic, with good attentive service, however the food was underwhelming to say the least. You can find a tastier steak in Florence for much, much cheaper. The pepper sauce was a low class gravy mix with whole peppercorns, not what you expect from such a “high end” establishment.Another annoyance was the blunt steak knifes, why?Save yourself the experience and money, consider one of the many fine restaurants around Florence.

Incredible, best food Ive ever had in my life !!!

If rating the food (very goodor the service (efficient), I would give five stars. However, on one of the hottest days in Florence, the AC was not working (or not working correctly). As a result, our dinner was miserable; we sweated all the way through, and our complaints about the heat were for naught.

Amazing place, the atmosphere and the steaks are amazing.The steaks were a little bit too rare for me, but the taste was very nice.One star less for a high price, as well as little accessories. But you pay for the steak and not much else.Wine was very good

Would have been 5 stars except for the price. Very expensive for a meal for 2 with wine (€190compared to similar restaurants in the area.Otherwise, antipasti was a very good selection - meat, cheese and crostinis. The Fiorentino was served only with the sirloin side of the T-bone (not including the fillet sidehowever was cooked perfectly rare and well seasoned. The desserts were light and flavourful

A special and exclusive restaurant to enjoy a florentine specialty. The steak was tasty, although definitely not the best I have ever had and around €60 for 2. Having your meat carved at your table and a desert trolley brought round was certainly very unique, but I did find the service pretty slow at times.If you’re willing to pay a bit extra for a special setting then I would recommend this restaurant, but if you just want to taste the steak, then I would do this somewhere more local.

Best steak in Europe. This is "THE" Bistecca experience. Preset menu optional with choices for antipasto and dessert. Amazing chianti selection and even the reserve wines were very reasonable. I will not go to Italy again without eating here. It was the highlight of our trip for us and our friends.You must try the tiramisù. It is hand made and you can tell the difference from all the others. Bravo Chef!

Service was terrible, I made a reservation days in advance and we were seated next to the door and cutlery cupboard, leading to waiters bumping into me all night. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table, then asked for it two more times and never got it. I cant believe I paid over 250€ for a party of 4 and got the worst service Ive ever had. Very disappointing considering the other reviews. Two stars instead of one because the steak was good.

Well worth the value. Steak was fabulous, rare to perfection. Recommend reservations for lunch, we nearly had the place to ourselves on a Friday at 13:00. Do save room for desert - the torta de nonna was the highlight of lunch!

Amazing steaks here. If you’re already full from eating around the city, the steak is still worth it. A steak for two (approx 1kg with boneis plenty with one side to share. Don’t forget to get a quality Italian red to pair with it.

I totally recommend this place, not only for the quality of the food, but also for the attentive staff and the welcoming atmosphere.I had the Florentine menu (for a minimum of 2 persons). It was an endulging experience: a delightful selection of local cheeses, meats and breads, a pallate stimulating Chianina cut (served solely rare), followed by your own choice of splendid desserts.Dont be shy when asking the staff for suggestions. They will happily guide you through the process of choosing the right meat for your particular taste.

Truly one of the most memorable meals of my life. Exceptional steak, delicious sides (the potato gratin with truffles is almost a main course on its ownand elegant desserts. The restaurant itself is charming, with a fun and eclectic art collection on the walls. Service was efficient and friendly, in both English and Italian.

The perfect place in Florence to try a Florentine steak! Make sure to make reservations. For dinner, we split the steak for two with sides and a dessert. Make sure youre hungry, because its a lot of food! The steak was cooked perfectly and you dont need anything with it besides salt and pepper. The side of artichokes and potatoes were both great. Dessert was tasty as well! Service was wonderful, couldnt ask for a better waitress.

Genuine top end restaurant with very attentive staff and tasteful surroundings. Steaks are excellent but bear in mind that unless you have a gargantuan appetite and deep wallet, a solo diner cannot get a bistecca florentina.

Amazing steak! We were actually pretty full when we came here for a late dinner. I didn’t think we would be able to finish 1.5 kg of steak but we ended up eating every last piece! The steak was cooked perfectly and the waitress just seasoned some salt and olive oil on top and it tasted so delicious. This was definitely one of the best meals we had in Florence! Highly recommend!

Superb dining Regina Bistecca. Absolutely loved the Fillet with a side dish of fried artichoke, and Tuscan beans. The wine list includes a perfect selection of National Wines with an incredible list of bubbles.The setting and service is divine

Good steak (nothing special vs any major chain steakhouse), very pricey, and great services until we finished our steak. From then, we didn’t see our waiter for close to 90 minutes.

Amazing dry-aged steak, perfectly cooked. Loved that they let you check the exact meat you are getting before they cook it. Great service too, not just because they carve the meat in front of you, but because...I left my credit card and they kept it even when I came back three hours later and they were already closing! 🙏🏽

Fantastic restaurant to try out some Bistecca Alla Fiorentina. Has 3 different types of beef and the kind waiter brought out some to show us the difference. Would definitely return for another Bistecca sometime in the future.

Had the bistecca alla Fiorentina, great service, taste and price. I would recommend taking a light or no starter to give this amazing piece of meat its rightful attention. The staff will helpfully guide you in picking the correct meat for you.

1.7kg of the best steak in Florence! The truffle pasta was amazing too. Service is good, very nice restaurant setting, you pay good money for quality food and it is worth every cent. The experience was great and we will be back

Really loved this place. Great service wonderful food. Wasnt in mood for steak but it is really a steak restaurant. Had a pasta dish that was wonderful!

Food: excellentService: poor to the point we felt we were almost intentionally ignored.Everything was delicious. We were a table of four and we ordered one of each the preset steak dinner options.First, our server was pretty friendly and seemed attentive, then as time went on we realized other tables had their cut of meat shown to them before cooking while ours was just brought out and cut before us. We werent asked if we wanted extra salt or pepper although three tables around us were. Nothing too bothersome or worth making a fuss over.My wife asked three times for a negroni.After we finished the entrees, we waited about a half hour after asking twice for dessert. Tables around us however were consistently well-tended to. Our server was clearing empty tables and more attentitive to newly sat tables whose meals seemed to move much more fluidly than ours.We asked for the bill twice. Another nearly half hour wait for the attention.We still left 30 euro tip on a bill that we felt deserved none. I have worked in the food industry nearly my entire life and I understand the service dynamic; I feel this experience was unacceptable.Tables next to us ordered and finished their meals in significantly less time than we did.We had told several different members of the staff of our requests. Clearly none of them were relayed because after waiting we had to remind our original server, who would constantly walk past us, of what we needed and the reaction was of what seemed to be feigned forgetfulness.Other than those concerns, everyone else in the establishment clearly were better served. The steak was delicious as were all the sides. The potato au gratin and creamed spinach sides were amazing. And despite everything else the wine suggestion by our server was excellent as well.I acknowledge my experience is probably the rarity and before anyone asks why I didnt seek redress with any manager, he seemed too busy wooing a clearly wealthy couple sitting behind us.

This is a great new addition to the Florence dining scene. The room is a transitioned bookstore that still holds a lot of its charm in the many nooks and crannies that the restaurant builds itself around.Its a pretty formal room... its classy and upscale... not like a normal Trattoria in any way. Its great to hop onto their gorgeous bar in front and wait until your table is ready. The Bistecca Fiorentina is one of the best in all of Tuscany, and certainly a Top Choice within Florence itself.This place is a high recommend for an upscale, romantic yet not stuffy night out.
